• The room was nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean.
• The parking fees are too high. The hotel staff is not very friendly or professional.

“This particular hotel is very close to LAX which is great for convenience. However, the neighborhood is not safe. The room was actually very nice and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean which was nice. The hotel staff was not very friendly but they complete their job in a sufficient manner. Overall, this is definitely a 3 star hotel and should not be rated any higher than that.”

• Very nicely updated clean rooms with comfortable beds.
• Airport noise, expensive parking.

“We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Most airport hotels are not much to speak of, but this one was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. There were nice toiletries from Bath and Body works, and the beds were very comfortable. Room service food was excellent and prompt.”

• I really disliked the balcony off our room, it was filthy. The bathroom was tiny.

• Extremely comfortable bed.
• Bathroom and bedroom floor not clean.

“Excellent location for LAX, good shuttle schedule, attractive facility, rooms business-friendly, bed was worth the price of the room by itself, bathroom floor and bathtub not clean, the rest of the room was great. 3 restaurants are too high-priced, no reasonably-priced place on premises for breakfast.”

• The bed was really comfy and the room was spacious and attractively furnished.
• Parking was higher than most places and the parking structure was designed poorly.

“We would definitely recommend this hotel but the parking fee at $19 was a little steep compared to some of the other hotels in the area. The bed is very comfortable; the room was very quiet, spacious, attractive, and clean.”

• Security was asked no less than 3 times to fix safe but after 2 nights still had not done so.

“Highly recommend for its convenience to LAX. Children loved the pool. Disappointing Starbucks was only open very briefly each day. Staff just seemed to be doing there job nothing more!”

• I very much liked the bed; it was huge and quite comfortable.
• I did not like how there were extra fees you have to pay for parking and internet (expensive too).

“Overall I liked the hotel. The room was nice and I had a very comfortable stay. However, there were hidden expenses that I didn't know about like paying 20 dollars a day for parking or paying to use the internet when some hotels (that are less than 3 stars) offer it for free.”

• The room given to me was what I asked for unlike the Hilton.

• They were very accommodating for our stay as we needed a refrigerator in our room for my meds.
• No free internet service, local telephone calls were not free, very small bathroom.

“The hotel was beautiful. The pool area was very nice. The balcony off of our room overlooked the pool. The beds were comfortable. There is not a lot of storage as the dresser only had 3 drawers. The bathroom was very small and only one person could fit into the bathroom at a time. No free local calls or free internet which is something that I am used to having at the nicer hotels. Further, parking was extremely expensive compared to the other hotels on the same street.”

• I was there for a seminar and it actually end up being the hotel I was attending so it was great. It was very plush.
• Parking was pricey for a hotel guest 19.00 for overnight.

“Rooms were very clean and you had a choice of 7 different pillows. There was no noise from the planes. Very close to the airport. Staff very friendly. I would stay there again. There is free shuttle service to the airport if you need it but you cannot leave your car here.”

“Clean and quiet hotel. Should have included rates for parking they were very expensive and should be less for hotel guests. They should have a few smoking rooms and allow pets. My pets are my world and my children and are very important to many people. Otherwise, the stay was very nice.”

• I wish I stay there more than one night.

“Marriot Hotel was very clean and nice. The room was decorated very nice. We got 50-inch flat plasma TV with cable. My son loved it. We had a view to the airport which was very exciting for my 7 years old son. Nice swimming area and pool. There was Starbucks inside with nice gift shop. I defiantly will go back to LA just because of the hotel.”

• From the outside to the inside of the hotel was beautiful. The rooms were absolutely beautiful.
• I had a few words with one of the employees during checkout.

“The overall appearance was nice. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. The hotel was clean, which made it a comfortable stay. The Marriott is definitely an upscale hotel. I was completely satisfied.”

• They charge additional for parking which is outrageous!

“The hotel was fine except for the fact that they charge extra for overnight parking which should be included with the price of the room. What's insulting is they charge $19 for overnight parking when just a block down the street is a secure garage that only charges $12. This is ridiculous and insulting.”

“This hotel was not prepared. The first room I check into wasn't even cleaned from the prior guest. Then there was a huge party across the hall at 1 a.m. I had to call the front desk twice (30 min span) to get security up to quiet it down. Housekeeping kept knocking even when there was a do not disturb sign on the door. And they double billed me for the room. The manager did try to make it right by camping my breakfast. I usually don't comment but this hotel needs some re-organization.”

• Car Parking was an extra $20 per night over the room price.

“The hotel is conveniently located next to the airport. If you are able to get an interior room, which I did, there was no issue with jet noise. The room was clean although not large. I was happy with the price. However, the price did not include car parking which was an extra $20 per day.”

“Very nice for a full service Marriott that is geared to the needs of business travelers. Accommodations were clean, very comfortable and roomy for the price. Restaurants in hotel were a bit pricey, but food was good and well-presented. Fitness center had individual television screens on each treadmill-what a pleasure! For internet addicts-hotel has hardwired and wireless connections-be prepared to pay 12.95/24 hours-and the 24 hours is up at midnight, so if you log-in at 6 p.m., you may only get 6 hours.”

“If you're visiting Santa Monica or Venice, this hotel is definitely worth the price. In fact, it's so much cheaper than staying near Santa Monica or Venice, and well worth the few extra travel mails it takes to drive there. Beware: parking adds $20 a niter to your price!”

• I enjoyed being able to walk down to the corner and catch a free shuttle to the beach and shopping.
• My breakfast yogurt was a little pricey.
