- The pool area was beautiful. Easy check in and out. Nice rooms, great view.
- Parking booth attendants weren't very nice
“This Marriot was what I was hoping for when I made my bid. I wanted someplace very clean and in a central location to Los Angeles shopping. This hotel was right across the street from LAX but out of the flight pattern. So we did not have any problems with air noise. One great thing was being able to take a glass of wine out to the pool area to relax in the evening.”

- The quality was good.
- The amenities weren't great, no exhaust fan, balcony, robes and
fridge.
“The room was very small and did not have a lot to it. No free internet, fridge, view and

- I really liked the hotel pool and fitness center. Both were clean and well maintained.
- I did not like how inefficient the elevators were. It took over 45 minutes for the bell hop to bring my suitcases to my room.
“The overall experience was satisfactory. The pool and fitness center made up for the expensive parking and long waits at the elevators. Also the Starbuck's in the lobby was very convenient.”

- The location was perfect for an early morning flight at LAX, valet was only $26 and courtyard was fun.
- The pool was not heated.
“Excellent experience. We stayed on the ground level with a door that opened into the courtyard, only meters away from the pool. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and beautiful.”

- They were rude at the front desk and $22 for parking is ridiculous!
“The rooms were small and not clean. They charge you $22 for self parking while all the hotels in the area are only $12. The people at the front desk were rude and so were the people that worked at the Starbucks. I would never go back! It was a horrible experience!”

- You have to pay for parking ($22) and internet ($12).
“This was a great hotel. It had the best service, it was clean, nice pool and hot tub, very close to the airport. I will stay here again if I am in the LA area. Only thing that would be better was if it was closer to more attractions and you had to pay for parking ($22) and internet ($12). But the pro's out weighed the con's.”

- Front desk was not helpful; shuttle times were inconsistent.
“Marriott's tend to put us in the smaller rooms right next to the elevator, despite an abundance of empty rooms. We called the front desk and spoke to a different agent and asked to be moved to a quieter room, which he complied with. The front desk clerk, upon check-in, didn't offer us the things, i.e., valet parking instructions, internet, parking, etc. I'm hesitant to go to another Marriott due to their propensity to stick us in the room right next to a noisy, dinging elevator. Aside from this, the hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, once we were moved to a room away from the elevator.”

- In-room Wi-Fi at $12+ not cool.
“Lots of recent updates, room seemed clean and fresh, overall facility feels dated but well-maintained. Staffing seemed thin, hard to find anyone at reception counter or get anyone on the phone. Restaurant pricey - $20 for breakfast? For our quick overnight needs with a 1st grader it was perfect. The pool and fitness room are nice, and Starbucks in the lobby was very welcome. The airport shuttle is fast. Car rental is a 10 minute walk with Hertz drop-off at the hotel. We'd stay here again.”

“My sister who had Pancreatic Cancer was on her way and I needed to get to Medford, Oregon from Mazatlan, Mexico, which you cannot do in one day at this time. The hotel went out of their way to accommodate a request I made! Staff was outstanding even to the point of calling to see if my room service order was okay. The vending machine had ate my dollar, so the person in room service gave me a free soda. I loved the Marriott! My sister died Friday and I made it on time to say goodbye.”

- Loved the shuttle service and size & convenience of this hotel.
- Our room had been used by someone (snuck in it) just B4 we arrived.
“When we walked-up to our room door we noticed it was being held open by the security latch. We pushed the door open and saw a used washcloth on the floor next to the bathroom w/a towel close by. Someone had snuck in to use the bathroom after the room had been cleaned and B4 we arrived.”

- Loud. No control over patrons in hall ways.
“Nice, clean room with adequate amenities and good for a short stay. Great for the business traveler because there is a FedEx Kinkos Business Center located inside the hotel. Drawback is there are no other eating choices except right inside the hotel. It is not convenient to any restaurants or shopping unless you get in a cab or on a bus.”

- The bed was wonderful, room was beautiful, free shampoo & conditioner was excellent, and room service was delicious!
- The Latitude 33 hotel restaurant was not good. The food was overpriced for what it was and the service was horrible.
“I loved the hotel! It has modern decor and the whole hotel was beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was roomy. They had free Bath & Body Works shampoo, conditioner, and lotion in the orange ginger scent, which was very invigorating. Room service was delicious; I highly recommend the banana pancakes. My only complaint was the Latitude 33 hotel restaurant. The food was overpriced and unimpressive and the service was even worse. The sports bar at the restaurant was much better.”

“We were very impressed with the hotel, although it is recommended that you stay at the hotel because it is in a bad part of town. There is a free shuttle from the airport that runs every 20 minutes, so you don't really realize what part of town you are in. It seems like the hotel is in the process of some renovations, so there was the smell of new paint in places and exposed wiring in the hallways. Also, there was no free internet in the hotel. They were charging something around $13 a day for internet, or you could use the business center in the Fedex/Kinkos room for 40 cents per minute. This was a slight annoyance to us. The room was very nice, roomy, and clean. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beautiful heated pool. The workout facility on the bottom floor was among the best I've seen at a hotel and is free for all guests. Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel.”

- Cleanliness of the room.
- Parking and internet charges.
“Was pleasantly surprised at the furnishings and cleanliness of the room. The staff was extremely helpful with any requests and follow-up. I would have preferred complimentary WiFi in the room. Also free parking but I understand that it is very difficult to offer free parking at an airport hotel.”
