“Staff was very friendly & helpful. Lobby was very inviting & clean. The room was in need of updating: The carpet was old & stained and the bathroom fixtures seemed to be a bit outdated. Overall, it was a good value for the low price I got on Priceline.” Dec 13, 2009 by
Michaelle from Atlanta,GA
“Comfortable, convenient, and nice staff.” Dec 11, 2009 by

“This hotel should be 2.5 star.” Dec 9, 2009 by

“Thanks a lot for all hotel staffs for fast & kind services.” Dec 5, 2009 by

“Hotel staff is very good. However, front desk was understaffed and took much too long to check in. Rooms are starting to look a bit run down but common areas are nice. Good food in restaurants. no free internet!” Nov 26, 2009 by
JQ from Las Vegas,NV
“Good location to airport if for a short time stay. Room comfortable to sleep, and clean.” Nov 22, 2009 by
Tom from San Jose,CA
“Run down and needs to renovated. Staff was not very friendly or helpful when asked a question.” Nov 20, 2009 by
Malcolm from Seattle,WA
“Based on the carpet and furniture in my room, I can say this is a very well used hotel. Regardless, everything was satisfactorily clean and the staff was very good. I wouldn't choose this place as a vacation destination, but it serves its purpose well as an airport hotel.” Nov 19, 2009 by
Gina from Bakersfield,CA
“Great location if you are flying out of LAX. It is located at the entrance of the airport! Quiet hotel, clean rooms.” Nov 17, 2009 by
Alice from Florham Park,NJ
“This hotel certainly isn't a 3.5 star.No hot water for shower at night, and the repairman seems to know this long term problem. This problem lasted 3 consecutive nights of my entire stay. Broken lamp shade and peeled wallpaper make the hotel room look bad. Also when you walk in there is a smell in the room.” Nov 3, 2009 by
from Las Vegas,NV
“Great location for LAX travelers departing or returning needing overnight stay. We were assigned a room on Priority Club Level which has signs about it being a quiet zone. Our room however seemed to magnify airport sounds. We were advised by Marina on a call to provide Mgr Denny Cassell with feedback we should have asked for a room on the quiet side of the bldg.” Oct 27, 2009 by
Rob from Miramar,FL
“The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a restaurant in the hotel. However, the other restaurants were several blocks away. The bed was comfortable.” Oct 23, 2009 by
Jonelle from Palmdale,CA
“Excellent, staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. I would definitely stay here again.” Oct 12, 2009 by
JoAnne from Sacramento,CA
“I was just there for 8 hours. Given the 30 minutes I was stuck trying to get into the self park garage, I wish they had comped the $12 parking fee.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Jonas from Princeton Junction,NJ
“Good hotel and I will recommend to others of this hotel.” Oct 9, 2009 by
LisaJ from Cleveland
“Bed was hard as a rock, doors slammed to my room and all the other rooms all during the night. Kept waking me every few minutes. Air conditioner was very old and very loud. Carpet had stains, television was old, so was the decor of the room. This is not by any means a 3 or 3 and a half hotel, no way. Two stars at best! I will never stay at this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it even to a house cat. Oh not to mention the filthy expensive $13.24 a day parking garage that is not connected to the hotel but you have to walk across hotel entrance parking to get to it and the elevator didn't go up to the 7th floor so I had to get off on the sixth floor and walk in the stair well at night which is a big no for a woman alone or for anyone for that matter. Oh and the internet fee is crazy and they charge you to print your airport boarding passes. I should have stayed at a 2 or 2.5 star hotel at least the beds are comfy and the parking is free at most places and they do have a free continental breakfast. Crown Plaza LAX is not a hotel I would not recommend at all!” Oct 9, 2009 by
LisaJ. from Maple Heights,OH
“This was the absolute worse experience I have ever had in a hotel. The bed was like sleeping on concrete. No springs on doors so all night I heard doors slamming. I couldn't believe they don't have doors that don't slam shut. I was awakened every few minutes by doors slamming! The parking was so expensive and the garage and elevator were in horrible condition. The elevator didn't go to the 7th floor so I had to get off the elevator at night and walk the stairwell which is a big no no for a woman or anyone for that matter. I will never ever stay at another Crown Plaza hotel. I knew I should have gone with a two or two and a half star hotel. At least the parking is free and there is a free continental breakfast and comfortable bed and quiet doors.” Oct 6, 2009 by
Frank from Hanford,CA
“This hotel has past its good day and sure could use some updates to the rooms.” Sep 29, 2009 by
Max from Arlington,CA “Very nice facilities, about what you'd expect for a hotel near the airport. There was little airplane noise. Shuttle service was on time.” Sep 4, 2009 by
Ivy from New York,NY
“The room is clean and comfortable, however there is no free Internet, however I stayed another crown plaza hotel in San Jose which has free Internet and business center. Also, there is no free parking.” Sep 4, 2009 by

“This hotel needs a make over. I stayed here before, and the room was a lot nicer. I think they have some decent rooms, but the one I got this time was very run down. The lobby is nice though, and you would think the rooms would be just as nice, but they are really old. Do not use their vending machine! It only takes credit card, and I got nothing out of it, and was charged $40! Just trying to buy water. Front desk staff says it happens all the time.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Sara from Los Angeles,CA
“Terrible experience. Each experience has been so different, others positive and this was unacceptable. I have no idea how this hotel is classified as 3.5 stars. This experience will ensure I do not go back to the Crowne Plaza. The first room I was given, after being there for almost 2 hours, I learned my door was not secure. The door could be opened from the outside without a key card. As a single female business traveler, this is a very uneasy thing to consider. The hotel seemed shocked by this, but other than changing my room, that is as far as they took the situation. My 2nd room had a horrible bed that sank and made a large noise whenever you sat down on it. My office chair was squeaky and in poor shape. When I asked for a different chair, the hotel seemed annoyed at me. But I did receive a different chair.” Aug 27, 2009 by
Erica from Ruther Glen,VA
“The hotel staff and airport shuttle service was EXCELLENT but, unfortunately, that is the only promising feature of this hotel. The room that we stayed in could definitely use an update-the carpet was dingy and old, the bed linens were stained, the furniture had excessive wear and the bathroom tiles and shower were moldy. This hotel is definitely not a 3.5+ hotel.” Aug 24, 2009 by
Diane Friedman from Whitefish,MT
“Overall experience was fair. Housekeeping did not have towels or amenities in room upon arrival and I never got a ironing board/iron after repeated requests.” Aug 21, 2009 by
Long from La Jolla,CA
“There are hidden fees for this hotel, no compliment breakfast, $13 for parking your car. Room is clean and it is not out of expectation for a decent hotel.” Aug 17, 2009 by
Steve from Colorado Springs,CO
“I will not stay there again.” Aug 3, 2009 by
Paul from Eden Prairie,MN
“Not worthwhile to mention about it.” Jul 31, 2009 by
Karen from Altadena,CA
“I would not recommed this hotel for leisure because there is nothing to do. The room was clean but there are no frills and dissappointing decor. It is simply a place to sleep for the night.” Jul 28, 2009 by
MB from Milpitas,CA
“Close to LAX, quiet, clean rooms and excellent lobby.” Jul 23, 2009 by
Connie from El Centro,CA
“I got more that what I paided for. Even though the parking was expensive it was worth it.” Jul 11, 2009 by
Mark from Cutler Bay,FL
“Just really convenient to LAX and rental car returns.” Jul 10, 2009 by
Anthony from Perris,CA
“I think it is a very nice place for couples, families with teenage children and business travelers. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give it a 3.5 or 4.” Jul 4, 2009 by
Shaman from Las Vegas,NV
“This Hotel is not clean, and has very bad condition furniture. From valet to the housekeeping the staff is not helpful or professional. Crowne Plaza (Lax) is Not in my opinion a 3.5 star level. I would not like/enjoy going back there again.” Jul 3, 2009 by
Peter from Carlsbad,CA
“Basically I look forward to staying at this hotel because the room is comfortable and clean. That's it.” Jun 30, 2009 by
Sandy from Murrieta,CA
“The hotel was good, close to airport. But not accommodating.” Jun 23, 2009 by
Laurie from Menomonie,WI
“Not to impressed. The customer service wasnt there at all and i def did not like the room at all.” Jun 16, 2009 by

“Good location. However the parking in a lot adjacent to the hotel that is shared with a business lot. The attention to cleanliness was just not there. The carpets in the room were dirty. Someone had dripped and left a trail. That was not cleaned. A little air freshener can go a long way also. Jun 15, 2009 by
Nancy from League City,TX

“Rooms were old. Dirty carpets. Scratched and damaged furniture. Noisy air conditioner in room. Noisy fans outside rooms window.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 10, 2009 by

“The Crowne Plaze met our family's needs for seeing our daughter, son-in-law and grandson off on an am flight out of LAX. Clean crib, extra towels, whatever we requested brought quickly to our room by friendly people. We thought the buffet was clean, offered some healthy choices for us, and we were served quickly and with lots of smiles!” Jun 4, 2009 by
Diane from San Jose, CA
“We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and its one of the worst places I ever stayed at. We are not picky and we travel often staying at 3 star hotels. This hotel does not deserve a 3 start. The location was closed to the airport, which is good. The lobby was nice and small. This ends the pros of the hotel. The garage is not connected to the hotel. We had to walk to the next block to the garage. Parking is $12/day. Once we step out of the elevator and into our room, it was very old and worn. The TV was old and the volume was reset to very loud every time it was turned on. The carpet was old with stain. The counter in the bathroom was old tile and the bathroom floor was also very old, old bathtub. The water pressure was weak. We couldn't wait to leave the room every day. We prepaid the room and we couldn't cancel it. Otherwise, we would go somewhere else. There are many quality hotels nearby. The saving grace was we got this hotel through Priceline and didn't pay retail price. This hotel is only worth night and one star rating. I do not recommend this hotel.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 3, 2009 by

“This was a wonderful hotel, well run, helpful staff and very well maintained older property. Easy access from airport and free transportation. This was an older property that was well maintained, spotlessly clean and overall, a great place to stay.” May 30, 2009 by
John from Hawaii,HI

“The room was clean. It has older decor because it is an older hotel but I would definitely stay here again. Its right next to the airport so it was convenient.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 22, 2009 by

“We were impressed from the moment we walked into the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very nice and the food was fantastic. I really don't know how it could have been a better experience. Well, the earthquake was a little over the top but the staff had nothing to do with that.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 19, 2009 by

“This is a wonderful find of a hotel. Located very near the airport, it has everything from a breakfast quick server restaurant to a fantastic dining room with exquisite food. There is even a sushi bar. The rooms are quite comfortable and the staff is very friendly. This is a great hotel!” May 15, 2009 by
Elizabeth from Blacklick,OH
“Overall the accommodations were nice. The location was ideal for in and out of LAX.” May 15, 2009 by
Steven from Capitol Heights,MD
“The hotel was excellent. My room was very clean. When I left and came back, housekeeping didn't only make the bed and provide clean towels, but they actually organized my toiletries and cleaned up the little bit of trash in the room I had left behind! I was very impressed. The one thing that would have made it perfect would have been a small refrigerator, but I was so happy with the overall quality of the room, I didn't really care about the fridge. The staff was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I highly recommend Crowne Plaza Hotel :)”
