• The hotel facility was very clean and conveniently located.
• I think something is wrong with their computer system since keys do not work.

“This hotel was very pleasant to stay in, the only complain I have is that when we got the keys the door would not open and someone had to come to assist us. A week after we again stay in the same hotel and the keys didn't worked either, they have to check their computer system before putting the consumer through this inconvenience. Overall experience was = very good!”

• Carpet in room had big burn marks.

“This hotel was exactly what we needed for a hotel close to the airport with a free 24 hour shuttle running every 15 minutes. We had heard there's a lot of noise from the planes since it's so close to the runway so we asked for the quietest side when we checked in and they were more than willing to accommodate us. There's a Starbucks & Krispie Creme right in the lobby and a restaurant as well. Would definitely stay here again.”

• I liked the sleep package that they made available.
• I didn't like the way the staff approached us as if we did not belong.

“The hotel is ok, it's definitely not the Ritz. This hotel is not a family friendly hotel and kids can't be kids. Due to the rating of this hotel you would think the bathrooms would be a bit better kept, the floors could had been mopped better and the tubs need resealing.”

• Proximity to LAX.
• Requirement to provide a copy of my ID & no fridge in room.

“It is fairly clean and the staff is friendly. However I found it most unacceptable in many regards that the manager, at check in time, declared that I would not be able to stay there unless I provided a copy of my identification card, e.g. a driver's license. No matter how much I tried to reason with the manager, he was unrelenting. I had a wedding to attend at the hotel that night, so I was stranded. Also the cafe could be more traveler friendly in its offerings - the servers luckily were very nice.”

• They did their best to compensate for missing a wake up call.
• No responsibility for the 3rd party parking structure, the hotel did not have a parking spot.

“Beds were not comfortable, I slept horribly. I kept tossing and turning. The hotel was quiet, which was amazing because it is so close to LAX. I felt that the staff believed they were trying to make peoples stay pleasant.”

• The front desk staff was very helpful, friendly and welcoming.
• The room was a little noisy- could hear planes outside and people next door.

“This hotel is located right outside LAX airport. It is very convenient for travelers with a late connection. They have a free shuttle to/from the airport. The desk staff is very helpful and friendly. Check in was very efficient. There is a Starbucks and a sports bar in the lobby, both of which stays open and serve food until midnight.”

• Near Airport LAX and has shuttle.
• Room was dated and very dirty.

“Have stayed at other LAX properties and this hotel does not measure to the others. Lobby area is small and not does not have free wire-less internet in lobby area. My room was dirty (old carpet, wash-room was not cleaned well from previous stay, room smelled like smoke).”

• I loved the king size bed and sleep CD, Spray and ear plugs.
• All was good.

“Check-in was fast and easy. The hotel room was spotless. On the comfortable king size bed was a sleep CD, sleep spray and ear phones. Very conducive to a good nights sleep and very thoughtful for the hotel to do this. Also, they gave us free parking, which was unexpected and a very pleasant surprise. I would highly recommend this hotel for the price.”

• No parking deck! Parking lot away from property. Inconvenient.

• The location was great. The nice appearance and friendliness of the workers. Also loved the exercise room.
• Parking was not free, so when our guest came they had to pay $12.00 to park and visit.

• Wireless internet was not free and had trouble with it.

“Very close to LAX; free shuttle service to and from airport was very convenient. Restaurant is expensive; cafe is moderate. Internet access costs $9.95 per 24 hours; glitch in system will make you pay again before 24 hours are up unless you are alert and call tech support to prevent it. Rooms are clean with usual amenities. Furniture in room is worn; you'll feel it when you lay down on the mattress! Overall, it's a nice place to spend a night or two as a traveler, but I wouldn't book to stay as a vacation base.”

• It is close to the airport and the noise was a little more frequent than usual.

“The hotel was great! The staff was courteous, polite, friendly, and very helpful. My room was thoroughly cleaned each day. The bathroom needed to be scrubbed a little cleaner and the housekeeping staff was super friendly. Kudos! Overall, my stay at the Crowne Plaza was fantastic and I would highly recommend it to others.”

• I absolutely love the quiet floor. It was quiet for being near the airport.
• The breakfast downstairs at the hotel restaurant was expensive for the amount of food offered on the breakfast buffet. We should've ordered from menu.

“Marina checked me in. She was heading out to have a lunch break and stopped dead in her tracks when I walked in and checked me in. I told her that my husband and I were away from our children for an extended weekend, she immediately cancelled the original room she was going to place us in and placed us on the "Quiet Floor". For the most part, the floor was quiet. There were absolutely no children on that floor (not everyone makes their children be quiet when walking down the hallways in the morning or late in the evening). We appreciated that. We enjoyed the lounge downstairs. Very nice hotel.”

“The first room we were assigned was not ready for visitors. One of the beds was unmade. We were given another room. Road noise and paper thin walls made it hard to sleep. There was a party next door. We called security twice. The door banged open and shut all night long. Not a very pleasant stay.”

• The location and appearance of the hotel were nice.
• One of the staff at the hotel was rude and this gave me an overall negative impression.

“The hotel was at a good location for were I wanted to go. It was clean and attractive but one of the staff members was very rude to me when I asked for another key to the room because the one I was given did not work. This gave me a very bad impression about the hotel.”
