• Room was clean with plenty of storage. Small fridge. Staff was great. Valet was convenient & Friendly. Hot tub felt great after a long day.
• My husband didn't sleep well on the Bed. I thought it was OK, too tired to notice I guess. Parking is an additional charge.

“Fitness facility was right near our room and although I was surprised how small the fitness room was it was neat with equipment in good condition. There was no pool that I saw just a hot tub but after the zoo it was just what I needed. The room was excellent and the staff members were all very professional and helpful. There was a small fridge in the room and a grocery and plenty of eating establishments near by!”

• The apples at the front desk.
• The counter tops was not clean as well as the couch.

“Parking for the disable was around the side of the hotel and not in front. This hotel needs to be updated. I don't plan to return.”

• Good location and quiet rooms.
• Furniture outdated and odd room layout. Very poor exercise room!

“Staff is friendly but not as willing to apply rewards member upgrades as our other hotels. Hilton does a much better job of taking care of their honors members. Exercise room is too small and not enough exercise equipment. Very smelly too.
This hotel is not a 3 star hotel.”

• Easy accesss to LAX.
• Not much around the hotel other than LAX.

“Convenient hotel to LAX. Above average relative to the other hotels in the area, however, tourists may wish to stay further away from LAX as there is not much in terms of entertainment in the immediate area.”

“I found my toilet to be broken and watermarks with a hole in the ceiling above the shower. I called front desk immediately about this problem. I was moved. They did not offer any amenities (upgrade, meal, etc). For the regular rooms, there is also a cabinet that runs through the center of the room acting as a divider, which can make the guest feel claustrophobic.”

• It was very close to the airport.
• The shower head dripped.

“I really liked staying at this hotel, but the one thing that surprised me is that I kept the "Do not disturb" sign on the door until about 4 in the afternoon. I left the room, thinking that is would not be entered by anyone after that hour. But when I came back the housekeeping staff had come in anyway. The only reason I took off the "Do not disturb" sign is that I need to use my key and forgot to put the sign back up. I very much disliked the housekeeping staff coming into my room.”

• It's close to LAX.
• AC was really loud.

“When we arrived to the hotel, it was stuffy, the AC was not turned on for us like the others. This particular room was dirty, looks like the maid only made the bed and left everything else behind. The fridge was not emptied out, there was a stater bros bag in the room, there was an open water bottled left. We called the front office, he was nice and found us a clean room, and it was much better! Another thing I did not like was the AC was really loud. I could not sleep so we turned it off, but it got hot again.”

“I did not appreciate the staff at the front desk. They were never available when I needed them - always in the back room. The night staff had their paperwork all over the front desk. My friend parked his car in the parking lot for 15 minutes - he charged my hotel account for parking the entire night.”

• No shower caps in the rooms.

“I felt my hotel room was not clean enough. The sink surface was not clean. There were no shower caps in the room and I could not take a shower until 7:00 am. This is time that the hotel had shower caps available. The shower was not totally clean and the shower curtain liner was torn and very un-slightly.”

“Yes that is right, no free parking while you are staying at this hotel. The wireless internet signal is so weak, it is slower than dial up. Overall the hotel was "OK". I would not stay here again.”

• This hotel was fantastic; well beyond the 2.5 star rating. Large room with all amenities.
• Glad to say that there was nothing to dislike about this hotel.

“Wow! My family and I were very impressed. Exceeded our expectation for a 2.5 star rating. Excellent location (across the street from LAX), excellent and accommodating staff and very large, clean rooms.”

• We were pleasantly surprised with the understated elegance one would expect in a more expensive hotel. We really liked this hotel!

“This hotel, that we consider an exceptional value, is worth the run to LAX from any part of Los Angeles, even in the infamous LA traffic. The room was modern and spotless with many amenities for the short and long stay traveler. Highly recommended!”

• The hotel was very clean, professional staff and the rooms were outstanding!
• Mandatory valet parking, but it was worth it in the end.

“This hotel was unbelievable, I was there because I brought my son down to LA for the Kobe BB Camp and needed some where to stay while he was there. I didn't expect luxury, but man was I impressed. I'm an internet junkie - internet is a must with me. Their ISP was perfect. The room had two beds, a couch and an office area with a fridge. It felt like a work/live space in a luxury condo or something. The staff is very professional, at the same time they treat you like family. I'm bringing my son and my daughter to the Kobe Academy next year and I'll be staying at the same hotel. They get 5 stars in my book!”

• The friendly staff, room decoration/Arrangement, cleanliness, cookies at the reception, etc.
• Room size, lack of wireless internet in the room.

“Room was cozy. Nicely decorated with all basic things you may need during the stay. However, wireless internet connection was lacking and my laptop didn't have the appropriate port to hook up so using the internet was a hassle. Wireless was only available in the lobby. The location of the hotel was very convenient as it connects to major roads like the Sepulveda blvd, 110, 105 and the 405. Staff was friendlier at the front desk, not so over the phone when called for inquiry. Overall the stay was really pleasant. However, one suggestion. Parking should be included in the price, since we have no choice but valet parking.”

• The staff, the location (by the airport), the cleanliness, the amenities.
• There was no pool. However, there was a Jacuzzi near the fitness room.

“This hotel was totally under rated. Other than it not having a pool, it was great. The employees, location, amenities, cleanliness, met or exceeded my expectations.”

• This hotel is so close to the airport. You can't get closer than this! Plus you have a shuttle every 15 minutes.
• No self parking. Valet only for $15. I parked on the street for free, but you have to watch the signs.

“The hotel was very nice, but valet for $15 was a pain. I decided to park on the street for free, but there were posted restrictions. Read them carefully! Don't get towed! I expected free breakfast or something like that, but no. There was an on-site restaurant, but it wasn't complimentary. Only a hot tub, which we did not try out. Still, it's great if you are a business traveler who needs to be close to the airport. You cannot get any closer than this. You could probably walk to your terminal from here; it's that close.”

• Larger rooms, windows that open, and even a little fridge.
• There's a wee bit of unsatisfaction with all of the above.

“The pros this hotel comes with are its very cons. The room is nice and large but is situated so that the work and rest areas are out of place (i.e. the desk in the doorway, and couch in the glare of the sunlight. The rare for business-building-type of windows that open get stuck and may expose you to fumes. A fridge comes complimentary but isn't strong enough to freeze dairy. All in all, from my own experience, the place stands up to its 2.5 outdoing any other place in a lesser star level.”

• Desk clerk lied about nearby restaurants, suggested room service.

“The only downside (other than parking being $9 or $15 for in/out privileges) was that I got in late at night, called down and asked about nearby restaurants, and was told there's nothing, to order from room service. I checked the internet and quickly found a large 24 hour restaurant down the street, 5 minutes away by car. Everything else was tasteful, large, clean, nice, and convenient.”

• Beautiful fountains outside, excellent quality food, hotel store, free WiFi.

“The people were friendly and businesslike. They were dressed as I like to hotel staff dress-suits. They also knew how to speak to customers. Lots of natural light in my room and a desk for study.”
