- Location to the airport and the free transfer were very important to me.
“The overall stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. I traveled and stayed with my teenage daughter there was a real mixture of age groups staying and we both felt very comfortable and safe there I will return on my next trip in a few months to LA. Thank you for a wonderful stay.”

- The beds were very comfortable, especially the pillows and bed linens.
- No self parking. Bad valet parking at a very high price.
“The rooms were very clean and well appointed, however, the service was terrible. The parking situation is the worst. There is no self parking, only a paid lot operated by a third party that is for airport parkers. The lot is not well lit and is a very long walking distance in a bad neighborhood. The valet parking service is really bad and you will pay a high price for it. On the other hand, I would not dare to park at the off site lot that the hotel says is available. It is neither safe or convenient. When I complained about valet service at the hotel, they literally laughed in my face. I can see why this property is available at such low rates.”

- Getting it on Priceline. King size bed with flat screen. Safe environment.
- Bar opens up onto the patio with the pool. No privacy when in pool in regards to patrons of the bar. Doesn't seem quite right.
“Easy to find. Friendly personnel at the registration desk. The room was much nicer than I had expected. I was treated like a VIP, even though I purchased the room through Priceline and paid about 60% less for the room than had I booked through the hotel website. Exceptionally courteous staff.”

- Lady associate checked us in, did a great & caring job of checking us in.
- Bell hop staged us when leaving in active smoking zone to catch bus.
“Sheraton fixed what I don't like about Priceline. We needed two rooms, one for my parents (king bed), and one with 2 Queen beds. Sheraton made it happen, with a wonderful attitude. All six of us (4 adults, 2 kids) had a very positive experience. The toilets in both room were not cleaned well.”

“Because of my late checking in (about midnight), the hotel tried to block out my room. They try to explain "we are fully booked tonight, but you are lucky I found a room for you", so I finally stay there but it was very uncomfortable and it was not fully booked.”

- Very convenient; great shuttle drivers; and a personable front desk.
- The rooms and parts of the common area were a little tired looking.
“The hotel was fine for an overnight stay between flights. However, we were disappointed that the steakhouse restaurant shown on the hotel's website (and still listed in their guest services book in your room) was actually closed and replaced by an Italian restaurant instead.”

- Proximity to the airport and frequency of the shuttle.

“This is a great airport hotel. It is convenient and the shuttle runs frequently. Parking prices are confusing. One lot gives you a price with tax and one without (which makes you think you're getting a good deal but then it's not.) The rooms were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

- Room was clean and had great sheets/pillows.
- No mini fridge and no concierge, parking was awful and terribly far.
“The room was decent but not have extras in the room like an i-pod ready player, mini fridge, etc is not what I expected. The windows kept the sound level to a minimum for planes flying nearby but you could hear the people arguing in the room next door with ease. Parking was down the street a way, costing $11 a night and you could not re park within the same day! Valet was $24 so not much savings there either. The pool was tiny for a resort as the hotel seemed to be made for business people passing through town who didn't want to travel far from the airport.”

- A relaxing hotel to walk into at the end of ur work day. Options for dining as well as a starbucks on site!
- The staff didn't seem as friendly as they are at other places I have stayed in the vicinity.
“I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is a nice, relaxing place to stay. I like the decor & lighting, as well as having options for dining and a starbucks on site! If you use the pool when you travel, I did see there was a nice pool area with cabanas, and a jacuzzi. Easy access to rental car companies and directly down the road from LAX. I also understand there is a trolley you can ride that will take you to Santa Monica & Manhattan beach. So, if you didn't want to, you could make it without renting a car if your trip was for pleasure.”

- Friendly helpful staff.
- Off site self parking, changed to valet.
“The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. They took he extra step to recheck me in as I needed to leave on a trip before I could check in. Upon my return everything was already taken care of and in the room. The self parking is not user friendly. After one night and frustration with the parking attendant I converted to the hotel staff and valet parking for a slightly higher cost. It was worth the few extra bucks if you are driving.”

- I had a great bed and when you're in transit, it's a priority.
- The bathroom was clean but the bath is a little dingy.
“I was very happy with my short stay at the Sheraton LAX. The room was small in regards to US standards yet it didn't feel tight. The furniture was in good shape. The bed was comfortable which is a priority when you're in transit. The room and bathroom were clean. The food which I ordered from room service was excellent and arrived hot. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel for a transit stay.”

- Very friendly staff/helpful.
- The restroom was not as clean as I expected.
“Overall it was really nice, all the staff since I got off the car and entered to the lobby was very nice, accommodating, helpful and friendly. I did not like the restroom it was not really clean. The toilet had black residue and the sink top looked dirty, there was also trash left in a garbage can that was left from another guest. I told someone at the front desk, they apologized but did nothing to have it removed.”

- Good location, clean, and nice accommodations.
- Priced high for food and parking.
“This was a very nice hotel with great room accommodations and very clean. We had a problem with 1 of 3 rooms reserved wherein a unknown bug or insect found in the bed but the hotel staff took care of this immediately and upgraded my Mom and Brother to suite in apology for this incident. There were a total of 6 adults and 1 child between 3 rooms reserved. All agreed that we would have enjoyed staying another day to further enjoy the facilities i.e., Jacuzzi, swimming pool and 24 hour gym.”

- Ugly rooms, torn sheets, view of the roof, parking was a joke $24 a day, no attractions near by, not even a place to eat. The room smelled.

- The decor was attractive and seemed updated.
“This hotel is perfect for those that want a nice hotel near to LAX or in our case, to tour Loyola Mary mount (LMU). Bring earplugs if plane noise bothers you. Pool and gym looked nice, but we didn't have time to use it. Staff was very friendly. We did not have a microwave or refrigerator in the room, which limited what we could bring in.”

- Unresponsive staff when things went wrong - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
“We had asked two queen beds and
requested a cot. They said that because of fire rules, they could not do that, but they would be happy to sell me another room. My son ended up sleeping on the floor. We had an early flight out the next morning, and starting at 9:00 pm, at least three rooms surrounding us, started getting really loud. There was a large group traveling together, and they were running between rooms, slamming doors, fighting and swearing, which could clearly be heard in our room, and partying and screaming non-stop until 5:30 am. They were also smoking on our non-smoking floor, and you could smell it everywhere. Many calls were made to the front desk, and the next morning, they said that they sent security up three times, but they wouldn't listen. Why were these people not thrown out? This was, without a doubt, the worst experience we've ever had in a hotel room.
I would also like to comment about the restaurants: there is not a reasonable option for dinner. They have an expensive steak place, or room service, which is fine if you're on expense account, but doesn't work with kids. We ended up walking over to the hotel next door and eating there.”

- It was a modern and trendy hotel that was close and convenient to all the activities I attended.
- The bath tub did not drain properly and they were in the process of renovating the elevators so it was difficult to catch an elevator.

- The room is very cozy and nice, free shuttle to airport 24 hours. Free internet at lobby.
- No free internet, $13 for parking (next space only charge 9.95), $10 for internet at room. Very busy hotel.
“The hotel is very nice. The room is beautiful, the bed is cozy. I think they still haven't got chance to remodel the bathroom yet. Overall I will love to stay in the hotel. However that night there was a conference, the lobby was pack and the elevator was pack with people going up and down.”

- Great bed, clean, great location.
- The cost of parking for a couple hours was equivalent of a full day!
“Sheraton is in a great location. Very clean. We ate at the bar because we were hungry and the Steakhouse didn't open for another hour - nothing special about the bar food. Very clean - great bed - pillows were just OK. A frig would be nice. The price of parking for a couple hours is ridiculous! It forced us to change our plans and return our rental car early.”

- The view of Century Blvd.
- The rooms need to be updated.
“I was disappointed when I arrived because I booked a four-star hotel and this was not. Our room had only 1 washcloth, no provisions for the coffee-maker. Our second room had a raggedy refrigerator in the middle of the floor, I don't think it belonged in the room. The parking was super expensive. Interent service was available for a fee, which I feel should be included with any four-star hotel. However, check-in was easy and fast and the valet staff was extremely nice and helpful.”

“Hotel is in excellent location. However, few things worked right including elevators. Pools, etc. closed. Rooms looked old, tired and shabby. Staff not much interested in assisting. - Location was where I needed to be.
“Nice hotel, everything worked fine. Parking was outrageous. $25 a day for valet, $13.00 a day for self park.”
