Hilary from Fresno, CA
“Great location within walking distance to many shops and museums. Beds are a little rough, too soft. The rooms are nicely done, but aging and not be kept up the way they should be. There is a beautiful view of Beverly Hills on one side of hotel, very quiet. The other side of hotel you get street noise which is very loud. The staff was very helpful. The bar is highly overpriced!” Jul 16, 2008 by

“Nice and clean. Would stay for the next time.” Jul 15, 2008 by
Jeni from Valparaiso, IN
“I had a great stay but didn't feel that it was a 4 star hotel, perfectly nice but not that extra luxury. Also, the pool was not available.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Bruce from Centreville, VA
“This was an ideal place to stay for a 1st time traveler to LA. Great location, easy to find, very helpful staff, and very attentive (if not a bit pricey) Valet service. Comfortable rooms (could use a DVD player however instead of a VCR). Did not try the continental breakfast but it looked good for a cold meal.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Mary from Boxford, MA
“The tower hotel is bright and funky and has a shabby chic decor in the rooms, which made it interesting. The accommodations were comfortable but some of the permanent bed accessories were a little stained. We loved the lobby decor and sitting area, and there were two computers for complimentary guest use, which was very nice. You could also park on the street close by for free, a bonus. We would recommend this hotel to others.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Liz from Littleton, CO
“Front desk staff was not necessarily welcoming, hotel is currently non-smoking, appears that this is a recent conversion as our floor and room still smelled of old cigarettes. Room was very warm and the control did not seem to work (much cooler in hallway) leaving the patio doors open would not have helped due to the traffic noise nearby. The $26 for valet parking seemed steep but at least the price was posted in the guest book in the room, the $12/person price for the continental breakfast was not posted in the guest book or at the door to the suite where breakfast was served, we were only aware of the charge when the ticket was brought to our table. Bellman/valet was very helpful and nice with directions.” Feb 18, 2008 by

“Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and nice. Beds were comfortable. Not a 4 star, more like a 3 star hotel. Very quiet area, not much to walk and go do at night. Recommend having a rental car if you stay at this hotel. Nice breakfast with a beautiful view.” Feb 13, 2008 by
David from Atlanta, GA
“Clean hotel at a reasonable price for the area. Decent location, but mainly for those who have a car.” Feb 11, 2008 by
Tamara from San Rafael, CA
“Great if you're in town to party, not so great if you have to get up early for a meeting.” Feb 5, 2008 by
Anthony from Davie, FL
“Very nice staff in all areas. Rooms very large, great views and excellent location in the middle of it all.” Jan 27, 2008 by
Deborah from Winnipeg, MB CA
“Average hotel with dated decor and awful pillows and bed comfort.” Jan 22, 2008 by
Jennifer from New York, NY
“This is a better than average 3 star. Rooms are large and well decorated, beds are so comfortable with Tempurpedic mattresses, bathroom is roomy and clean, all rooms have balconies. The pool area looked good although it was too cold to swim while we were there. The bar was just ok. Food is sports bar fare rather than restaurant style. Only downside is parking at $26 a day with no alternatives in the area. That didn't feel great at all. It is pretty centrally located but you need to drive to get anywhere apart from one or two restaurants that are walking distance.” Jan 7, 2008 by
Ricardo from San Diego, CA
“Great hotel.” Jan 5, 2008 by
Hansen from Mesa, AZ
“Great Bed, good location. Parking at $28.00 with tax is insane; that is about 30% of the room charge.” Jan 4, 2008 by
Anthony from Henderson, NV
“This hotel is in a great location and has an amazing view of the hills. The staff was overly friendly. The beds are memory foam beds and depending on your taste can be comfy or not.” Nov 6, 2006 by
J from Thornhill, ON CA
“I was very happy with the hotel for the price.” Oct 23, 2006 by
Andrew from Lomita, CA
“Very romantic and nice view at night.” Feb 15, 2005 by
Brian S. from Chicago
“The hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. The rooms have soiled upholstery and carpeting which should never occur in hotel with the Loews name. The management was not particularly great in resolving a problem that the hotel created and it took quite a bit of wrangling to resolve the situation to my satisfaction. I would not stay at this hotel again.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
