  • Every staff member I spoke to was EXCEPTIONAL, from the valet to room service!
  • LOVED everything!

“The hotel is beautiful. The facilities, dining room, hotel rooms, etc. are wonderful. I can not say enough about the staff. Every single person I spoke to was friendly, helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. They all went out of their way to be of service. I have stayed there three times now, from a single night to multiple nights and I will stay there every time I visit LA.”

  • The entire Hotel was gorgeous! The Room was luxurious! On a tight budget My family could enjoy an upscale Hotel on our minimal budget!
  • Sadly we had to pay $35 for parking? That was a bit crazy.

  • This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at!
  • I didn't like the $32/night valet charge.

“This hotel is amazing. My room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom had a separate bath tub and shower which is great. I loved the balcony that had a table and chairs on it. I also loved the flat screen LCD TV and windows that ran across half the room. This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in.”

  • Front desk service.
  • Price of parking, and the constant expectation to tip. Takes away from the hotel experience.

“I have stayed here several times. Service is excellent, rooms are clean, well appointed, spacious, location is excellent. The only downside is the high price for parking and the relentless expectations for tips from people retrieving and parking your car - even though you are already paying a fortune for parking. Reduce the parking fees and you have a great experience.”

  • The staff was great and very kind and thoughtful. The hotel had a good location and was beautiful.
  • The room smelled of smoke it's non smoking but a previous guest had smoked with the patio door open leaving a smell and burn marks near the patio door.

“I loved the hotel. It was beautiful with excellent staff. They were very pleasant and helpful. The accommodations were great. Parking was a bit expensive but you have to pay to park everywhere and was comparable for the area. Just something to consider. You have to pay for parking everywhere you go in this area. Including the hospital. I was there for a heart procedure and It was nice to come back to such great service at the hotel.”

  • Very nice room overlooking Fox Studio's soundstages.
  • Location was Century City, quite a ways away from Beverly Hills (the listed neighborhood).

“Hotel is great for business travelers - luxurious, well appointed, nice gym. A bit off the beaten track for leisure travelers - I ended up walking a lot, which is fine but somewhat unexpected (they do have a free shuttle though). Would have liked free Internet, but no dice. Restaurant in lobby was not at all recommended on Yelp, but plenty of good choices in nearby Westfield Century City mall.”

“Upon arriving at the hotel I was very excited it was beautiful from the outside and although they only offered valet parking, which I'm not always excited about, but the service staff were incredibly polite. Unfortunately though once my husband and I reached the concierge he was extremely rude. There was soap scum in the shower, mold on the bath tub mirror and the patio cushions were horrifying. I will say though that the hotel is in a great location, and the room is spacious and with some good old elbow grease would be beautiful, but my over all experience at this hotel was horrible and I would not recommend it.”

  • The location and the cleaniness were great!
  • I did not like the parking fee ($35). It was a bit much to pay for one day, especially with no in and out privileges.

“I enjoyed the overall service and my stay at the hotel. However, I did not like the $35 Valet Fee. Additionally, when I stay at a nice hotel (4 Star or higher), I expect the concierge to be a little bit more helpful when it comes to looking for places to go.”

  • Beautiful hotel and they even gave a suite with an amazing view of the city.
  • We got charged $32/night for parking. For those of us on a budget, that really set you back.

  • Well there was not much I like about this hotel. This hotel was very much under-delivered to my expectations of the Intercontinental Hotel chain.
  • This hotel is way too out of the way, and the amenities were average at best.

“This Intercontinental Hotel was very disappointing. From the very first day there were problems. We had to call the front desk to have a blow dryer brought up to the room, as no blow dryer was there to begin with. Then found out the shower drain was backing up and soon enough had water above my ankles, so once again had to call front desk to have this problem fixed, which they did. One of the mornings there was no hot water; we waited and waited to see if the hot water would turn on, but no. When I asked the staff where the hot water was, nobody knew. The final complaint which drives the nail into the coffin for this hotel is how we discovered our hotel room door left ajar opened when we returned to our room. Apparently left ajar by the housekeeping department. We sure were glad our laptop, camera, etc were still in the room. Management did nothing to compensate for our troubles. Would have been nice if they adjusted the $32.00 per night parking fee to make up for all the problems we encountered at this hotel. I will never stay at this hotel again. Not worth the money in any way.”

  • This place is amazing! Service is second to none!
  • Everything is very pricey. Shuttle service can be unreliable.

“This hotel is excellent and the service is 2nd to none. After check in a member of the concierge staff came to our room, explained all of the amenities to us and then even offered to bring us ice! The hotel is in a great location and the concierge staff is very able and willing to direct you to where you want to go. Make sure to bring some extra snacks to munch on because the mini bar prices are very expensive! Although the food quality is great (we had breakfast), the prices are very expensive. The only minor issue we had was use of their shuttle service. We were told it is normally a 5 minute wait to get a ride on their shuttle. We waited 30 minutes and the shuttle never arrived so we drove. Again, that was very minor and did not hurt my ranking of this hotel.”

  • Big room with a large balcony/terrace.
  • Not much to do within walking distance.

“This is a very comfortable, deluxe hotel located not far from Beverly Hills and Hollywood shopping and business. My room was very spacious and well laid out, as well as having a large terrace in addition to a small balcony, with a great view and in total 4 chairs/loungers to use outside. The bathroom was large also and featured a separate bath and shower. LA is car country and that sure counts for this hotel. Not much to do within walking distance, and I did not see a trace of public transport. There is a fitness and pool where you can lounge as well as order snacks (weekends only I believe). The outdoor pool itself was nothing special, a bit small even, I would have expected something more 'spectacular' of an LA hotel in this class. Staff is friendly, attentive and professional.”

  • The service of waiters, bar servers, etc.
  • Breakfast and dinner were just average but not the price.

“Pleasant, friendly hotel with very nice service. The meals were not very thoughtful or particularly good (my rack of lamb was sort of tough). The Mother's Day brunch was $68 for my mostly vegetarian family and $34 for our grandchild's pancake. The limo service was an excellent idea and we used it twice. Maid service never seemed to arrive until about 2 p.m. when I can back to the room for a nap you need some system to not interrupt nappers.”

  • Great balcony, pool & Jacuzzi.
  • Charged me for water and would only give me one creamer/day for coffee!
