“The Hyatt Century Plaza is truly a cut above other hotels. Many hotels have nice lobby areas, but this hotel extends that into the guestrooms. The rooms are nicely furnished in what is similar to a New York Loft. Very urban. There is a plasma/LCD TV in the room as well. The lighting is good. The grounds of the hotel are very impressive as well. Everything well manicured. The pool is impressive as is the gym and spa. Lemon infused chilled water for guests, need I say more. The only complaint that I would have is that as a guest you have to pay for parking (I believe it was over $30 bucks). Also, while the gym is superb, you shouldn't have to shell out $20 bucks to use it as a guest of the hotel. Maybe they should have a $5 bucks for 45 minutes for those of us that just want to use the elliptical and not all the other fancy services.” Sep 24, 2008 by

“Excellent hotel, great staff, wonderful rooms. I missed the coffee machines in the room the greatest.” Sep 24, 2008 by

“Great hotel for the LA business traveler who wants comfort, service and location.” Sep 18, 2008 by

“Great accommodations for the price. Centrally located. Friendly staff.” Sep 13, 2008 by
Barbara from Marshfield, MA
“Loved the hotel. The service at the Hyatt was the best service I have ever received. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Great Experience!” Sep 12, 2008 by
Jack from Woodside, NY
“Overall, my stay at the Hyatt Century City hotel was excellent. The exterior is a little deceiving as it appears somewhat plain. But the interior is impressive. The rooms are spacious and stylish, furnished with sleek modern furniture. Every room has a large balcony. The pool area was fantastic! It's definitely a place to relax and take in everything. The only downside is the parking. At $31 a day for the hotel valet, it hurts the wallet. There really isn't much of an option either as there is literally no street parking in the immediate vicinity. If you are willing to walk a few blocks to Santa Monica, you can park at some meter locations. Otherwise, you might want to try nearby mall parking lots.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Jennifer from Phoenix, AZ
“I loved this hotel, and would return to it in a Heartbeat.” Sep 11, 2008 by
Michael from Pompano Beach, FL
“Glamorous hotel after the remake. Great location in Los Angeles, close everything worth visiting- Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Sunset Blvd, Santa Monica Blvd. The hotel is also close to the beaches as well as the Page and Getty Museums. The best thing though is the friendly staff- your sure to feel like a million bucks even if you don't happen to have it the bank.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Susan from San Francisco, CA
“Although I stayed here for a quality, safe hotel near Beverly Hills for a wedding reception, I think this hotel would be best for a business traveler. It was very quiet and had all the amenities I would need if I were in LA for business. It definitely merits a 4 star rating, but I would recommend more lighting in the bathroom. Also, the valet parking and coffee in the lobby (there was no make your own coffee service in room) was exceedingly expensive. Last, I did not use the fitness center, but as a swimmer, was disappointed that the pool was not appropriate for lap swimming. Staff was very professional and certainly up to Hyatt 4 star standards. Highly recommended.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Shawn from Vancouver, BC CA
“The Hyatt is a great hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. You do need a car unless you are doing business around the area. Everyone at the hotel is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only problem was the parking expense $30 for valet, $20 for self park with no in/out.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Mark from Santa Ana, CA
“This hotel is centrally located in Los Angeles. Many restaurants, clubs and shops are available within a short car drive. Well staffed and fun.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Peggy from Redwood City, CA
“Beautiful hotel in the heart of LA (near Beverly Hills). Spacious rooms, clean, modern decor. Bathrooms are huge--and great for more than one person to use at a time. Love the pool and the pool area. Love the spa. parking is expensive. And we used Valet, because using self park is kind of difficult to get to.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Margaret from Calgary, AB CA
“The hotel looks newly renovated with beautiful rooms, impressive lobby and bar area. We liked the outside patio for both bars. We also wished we had more time to spend by the pool as it was very nice. The hotel is located close to the shopping mall in the business area so it is very convenient to have a quick bite in the food court if pressed for time or at some nice restaurants that are close by. There is also a nice supermarket in that mall in addition to other great stores. It is also fairly close to other Beverly Hills/Hollywood attractions (10-15 minutes driving). Parking at the hotel is fairly pricy ($31 for valet with in and out privileges or $20 self park without in and out privileges- we also noticed that there is also parking available at the MGM tower next door for $15- I guess no in and out privileges). It was our anniversary weekend and the hotel sent a complementary bottle of champagne and strawberries which was a very nice touch. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.” Sep 9, 2008 by
Fabrizio from Los Angeles, CA
“Very good hotel, clean and comfortable.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Steve from Grass Valley, CA
“Loved this hotel. Classy upscale hotel.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Alicia from Katy, TX
“Overall, the hotel was excellent. I loved the balcony with the table and chairs. The view was lovely and the service was great. The light in the bathroom kept flickering and was on it's way out, but I'm sure that'll get corrected. Overall, I'd definitely stay here again! Loved the free WiFi!” Sep 8, 2008 by
Ercan from San Francisco, CA
“Hotel lobby, the look of the room is very elegant. I enjoyed staying at this hotel. No slippers in the closet or no iron or shoe polish cloth. I don't like extra costs and in this hotel there were some. Internet, parking, spa & gym fees. Boarding pass print option is a good offer. Overall it's a pretty nice hotel in Century City. It's a nice opportunity to have Westfield Shopping Center behind the hotel.” Sep 8, 2008 by
Rick from Crescent Springs, KY
“This is a great property in Century City with clean comfortable rooms and nice beds. Valet is still a problem and has been for years but it is a separate company.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Dw from Las Vegas, NV
“Beautiful hotel, clean - nice room/location. Balcony was nice too.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Mike from San Diego, CA
“Very nice hotel, great furnishings in room, convenient full Starbucks in lobby. Downside is the $31 valet parking, pretty much forced on you.” Sep 6, 2008 by
Linda from San Diego, CA
“Great hotel!” Sep 5, 2008 by
Sara from Irvine, CA
“Room is clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Down side is that parking is not covered and costs $20.00 each time you enter and exit the parkade.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Sarah from Belmont, CA
“Overall, it's a nice hotel because it's new and clean and the staff was helpful. There's a Starbucks and a little shop for toiletries if you need them. However, the pool area was mostly concrete and bland. The hot tub was too small for all the people that were in it. There were way too many kids, some who went into the pool with underwear or t-shirts and kids should not be in the hot tub. the most annoying part of the stay was that they don't use fitted sheets so the lower sheet kept moving and bunching up. The sheets felt like sandpaper and so did the towels. They also use super-cheap facial tissue and toilet paper-also like sandpaper. Oh, and you can hear the wedding music every weekend. Overall, it's a nice place but maybe 3.5 stars.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Gail from Ft. Myers, FL
“Beautiful, spotless, quiet, comfortable. I would stay there again in a Heartbeat.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Mike from Great Neck, NY
“I love this hotel and consider it my second home always stay here when go to LA.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Danielle from Las Vegas, NV
“Hyatt Regency was fabulous. Our room and view were impeccable and luxurious. I loved going downstairs for drinks. We had hoped to have sushi at the hotel, but unfortunately the sushi bar is closed on weekends; just a heads up.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Glenn from Frisco, TX
“Great hotel for the $$! Good location, good service, and great pool made our trip that much better.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Julie from Huntington Beach, CA
“My husband and I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now and are always pleased and happy to be there. It is a lovely hotel, service is good and so convenient. It is centrally located and is an easy trip to shop in Beverly Hills, dine in Hollywood, etc. We would definitely stay again.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Tri
“Excellent service, luxury, close to shopping center, good spa and pool.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Belia from Chicago, IL
“If you're looking for a comfortable, warm and welcoming room, this hotel is the right one. It has many amenities that are quite enjoyable like the pool, the onsite restaurant, bar, Starbucks, and full service Equinox gym, Hertz car rental, plus a whole mall across the street. Bring your own snacks and rent your car at the airport because snacks, beverages and cars are very expensive. For single people, be aware that it's children friendly so the pool will be covered with kids. Very nice hotel.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Dianna from Lake Forest, CA
“Beautiful hotel, nice room but had silverfish crawl out of my sheet. No coffee pot in room. The biggest disappointment was that we were above the outdoor bar, 8 floors up, and the loud music was played until 3 AM. I called and management said it would be turned down at 11 pm - this was at 11:15. It was really hard to sleep. Location was nice, the valet parking was the most poorly organized ever. The valet employees were very nice, the wait was absolutely terrible, even with call ahead. I missed a dinner reservation one night due to waiting 15 minutes in the parking area for my car.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Sean from Torrance, CA
“This hotel met all expectations for the star rating and more. I enjoyed the room and the quality of the sheets and towels. We loved the bed.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Chris from Bemidji, MN
“Very nice, clean, with a modern classy look and feel. Good customer service.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Karen from San Luis Obispo, CA
“Excellent hotel. Enjoyed our brief stay but would stay there again next visit to LA. Wished we had more time to enjoy the hotel amenities.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Alix from Millbrae, CA
“This hotel has lovely furnishings and a welcoming front desk staff. However, the only parking that allows in and out privileges is the $31 valet parking. There is no flat-rate for self-parking and freedom to leave the premises. This was an unwelcome mandatory. The room service was lacking in taste and warmth. We expected more for the price. The soggy, oily, texture of the sandwich and cold waffle did not please.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Gaye B. from Trinity, FL
“This is a very nice hotel in a good location.” Aug 31, 2008 by
Toby from Frankfurt, DE
“Excellent hotel in a nice location, fantastic rooms, nice beds and a iPod dock in the room.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Deborah from Goleta, CA
“This is a beautiful hotel with wonderful front desk employees. The view of Downtown LA was incredible from my 14th floor room. The room was very attractive. My only complaint was my room service meal which arrived without the ice water I'd ordered and missing the bacon for my club sandwich and the ice cream on my dessert.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Jan from San Jose, CA
“The front desk took a very long time to answer their phone; complaints about the internet was not responded to in a timely manner; the staff seemed less friendly, did not allow me to put a roll away bed in our room; set us up with a king size bed when I asked for a double bed room.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Sefy from Monsey, NY
“I was very excited to stay at a 4 star Hyatt hotel but upon arrival was quite disappointed. Although the lobby was really nice and the staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were not what I thought to be on a 4 star level. It had a musty smell and the bathroom had a smell of mold. They also got you with the parking charging 31 dollars a day! Or 20 dollars if you park it but walk quite a distance, and then you can only park it and take it out once!” Aug 28, 2008 by
John from Hacienda Heights, CA
“All was very good!” Aug 28, 2008 by
A from Long Island City, NY
“Great place to stay if you need a conveniently located hotel in LA for a night or two. On the outside, hotel seems dated, but inside everything seems to be newly refurbished. Good amenities including gym, pool, restaurant, etc. Not particularly romantic, but a good jumping off spot for exploring LA.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Ute from Torrance, CA
“Very pleasant, comfortable, very nice pool and good restaurants.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Carina K. from Toronto, ON CA
“This hotel is great except that you would expect a hotel of this level to have internet access available. The business center was external and charged ridiculous prices of $5 for 5 minutes of usage. Also, you would expect a hotel of this level to have more than just basic network channels.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Rose from Lawrenceville, GA
“The walls are so thin and you can hear everything next door.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Jovita -. from San Diego, CA
“Conservative & comfortable. I am glad that the hotel did not upgrade the room surrounding to an ultra modern conveniences that will scare or inconvenient a guest. It made me feel that I stayed in home away from home. I like the shape of the building - a guest feels that the area is in a Sea Resort.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Kerrie from San Diego, CA
“The hotel was wonderful! Great location, very clean, stylish rooms.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Michael from Chicago, IL
“I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. Gorgeous hotel, great decor, and decent location made it an excellent stay.” Hotel Representatives:
