- Large comfortable bed.
- The room was nothing special for the price.
“This was supposed to be a four star luxury hotel. I thought was very average compared to other non-luxury hotels I stayed at. The curtains were stained with food matter, which was disgusting. The large room was very sparse and seemed to be missing furniture. I did not like the idea of being charged full price for parking. There should be some sort of validation discount if you're staying at the hotel. The X-Bar overcharged me for my drinks. I had two drinks and ended up paying $30 for them when I checked out! Outrageous!”

- The staff made sure that we we're happy. They resolved a small issue we had quickly and exceeded our expectations.
- Parking was expensive but that's what you get in LA.
“This hotel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff was outstanding. With two toddlers, traveling can be challenging. However the staff made sure everything was taken care of. The first night they brought us free rollaway bed because they thought we might like an extra bed. Another evening they brought the kids cookies, chocolate dinosaurs, jellybeans and juice. The pools are perfect. There are three 1 foot pools and the large pool had stairs that the kids could play on at one end. There are wonderful (again free) cabanas that we spent a lot of time in when the kids weren't in the pool. We ordered lunch from the pool cafe and for poolside service the meals were very reasonable, especially the kids meals which were very large and less than $6. A great hotel!”

- The receptionist was very nice to give us connected rooms.
- Coffee maker in request. No refill the coffee powder for 3 days. No tea bags.
“The rooms were nice size with most things except coffee maker and space in refrigerator. The reservation for each room was 3 persons but they only supplied 2 wash towels. The Valet parking service was almost perfect except they could not find the key when we called before departure. We waited on the curbside and no one informed us until we asked. The receptionist of Valet parking finally found our key and put us in the last of the row. Luckily, one guy saw all what happening and took our key and gave us the car. He is kind of person knowing what quality service is.”

- Large, comfortable rooms with accommodating staff.
- Valet is very expensive and took about 25 minutes after calling from our room.
“The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating - it was odd that a coffeemaker wasn't in the room, but one was delivered immediately upon request. Valet service was slow due to volume, and quite expensive. Although self parking is available, it costs $20 each time you come and go. For my valet money, I expected faster service. We called from the room as we left for a dinner reservation. We were told "5 minutes". We waited outside for 20 minutes more which made us late for our reservation. Apart from that, the accommodations and hotel amenities are above average.”

- All of the employees were extremely courteous.
- The restaurants were way over priced and the service for breakfast was very poor.
“Overall the hotel was excellent except for the food and beverage services were way overpriced. I found all of your employees from management to bell hop was incredibly gracious. The restaurant in the morning was terrible; the waiter was very slow and ignorant. The service was excellent in the evening for dinner but well over priced. I am looking forward to return on my next business trip.”

- From the TV, to the bed, to the view, and the lobby and grounds.
- Self park-$11 for 75 mins, valet @$30 better.
“This hotel is right off Santa Monica Blvd. Not too bad of a drive to UCLA/Westwood area, Mulholland Drive or Santa Monica. Really close to Melrose, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood locales. Service was right, room service breakfast-on the spot, view from 12th floor was grand, beds always a Hyatt plus, pool and outdoor areas relaxing and so nice. The Xbar, a weekend lo-key hidden hot spot, driving in under the canopy-special feeling each time. Would stay again def. Especially if the price was great like it was, great getaway from Vegas.”

“The room was nice, but there wasn't a clear sign as to where you went for self parking. The rate for valet was $31 over night plus $8 for the first hour and $2 for ea. additional hour. The self parking was outrages too. I spent $42 in parking for less than 24 hours! They need to have a set fee per day period.”

- Good location, short drive to anything LA has to offer.
- Youre not likely to sleep long at this hotel, noisy Valet parking area with honking cabs outside.
“All in all this is an excellent hotel; we encountered some problems with disturbances (from the inside of the hotel). Staff manager handled it in an excellent manner, "immediate guest recovery" in an almost Disney- like -manner! Will recommend others staying here.”

- The fixtures (faucets, countertops, doors, etc.) were awesome. Details make the difference.
- The bar seemed to be a really popular place on Saturday, so the lobby was loud and there was a line out the door to get into the bar downstairs.
“The Hyatt Regency Century Plaza spared no expense making the hotel luxurious. It's clean, beautiful, and I felt like I was a five-star guest. The staff was friendly and personable and I really felt taken care of. We asked a housekeeper in the hallway for mouthwash and then went to our meeting and came back about 25 minutes later to find it sitting on our counter. We really appreciated that (and so did the people we sat next to in our meeting!).”

- He upgraded my room to a view with no extra charge.
- The $30 parking fee is not acceptable.
“I had trouble with the parking attendant. I asked if I could just keep my car in front for 1/2 or so and he said we will have to park it downstairs and did not tell me he would charge. I have left my car out front at almost every hotel and they have no problem with it. I found the parking situation very poor.”

- Valet worst in city, bathroom tub drain clogged with hair.
“Beautiful hotel and room. Pulled a wad of hair out of tub drain because it was clogged. Paid $31.00 for parking and waited 22 minutes for my car and 7 people in front of me got their car before me. Second day the Valet lost my car for 45 minutes and had to ask me what kind of car I drove. No apology no correction of problem.”

- The check-in check-out process is very easy as is the valet parking. The location is great for all upscale attractions.
- There are no robes, slippers or shower caps in the room and they don't take away the dirty towels every day unless you ask.
“Location. This hotel is across the street from the Westfield Century City Mall which is great for grabbing a meal, shopping for items you forgot to bring or seeing a movie in one of the best theatres in L.A. You are 5 minutes from Beverly Hills, 10 from West Hollywood and Melrose Ave and 15 from Culver City shops and galleries. All spa and exercise facilities of the Equinox Gym next door are available to hotel guests.”

- Parking! Need Free wireless.
“Only there 1 night, but great stay. Loved the hotel, facilities. Two negatives: Was really hoping for free wireless. Biggest Negative: Parking! Two choices, valet or a garage. The garage was $20 for 24 hours (normal) We parked, went to hotel, checked in, swam. We went to leave 3 hours later for dinner, and we were still charged $20 for parking for only 3 hours! I am fine with paying $20 for a day, you should be able to leave and return without penalty.”

- Close to our children's home.
- Musty smell in room, 2 of 4 lamps didn't work, no luggage racks.
“The hotel is tastefully decorated, but there is a musty smell not only in our room but on the entire walk from the elevator. We had to keep the sliding glass door open for fresh air. They could benefit from less fancy and more practical such as providing luggage racks in the room. The common areas are beautiful, but if the room has a musty smell and 2 of 4 lamps don't work, what good is "beautiful"? We do a lot of traveling and stay at very lovely hotels. We were very disappointed. We left a comment card at the front desk.”

“The Hyatt Century Plaza is a great hotel located in Century City (adjacent to Beverly Hills). Hyatt has renovated the rooms and installed the Grand Bed, which is super comfortable. Wireless internet access is available for $9.95 a day and is reliable.”

- The concierge and front desk were very helpful with our needs.
- The valet parking was closed and we had a long walk from the self park garage to hotel.
“This is a high class hotel with incredible views, welcoming and helpful employees and everything you could ask for in your room. We will definitely be back for our next trip.”

- The service was outstanding and location was great.
- Wireless services should be included.
“Clean, modern decor, great service, close to shopping, great facilities and wonderful bar. I love that they had a star bucks inside and the although the valet parking was a bit on the high side it was worth it. All around it was a great hotel and I'll definitely be back!”

- Very spacious room, friendly and courteous staff.
- The food was too expensive, the least expensive breakfast was 18.00.
“The staff is wonderful. They anticipate your needs. Remodeling of the lobby looks top drawer and the outside bar areas are cozy. The rooms are equipped with a great desk to work at and the beds are comfortable. I just wish they would get rid of that stinky "wild ginger" soap. It reminds me of elementary school bathroom soap smell. The citrus variety was so much better!”

- The rooms and facilities are very clean and modern. The staff is very helpful and overall pet friendly is a plus!
- The gym is an additional $20.00 a day fee. It should be included in the basic hotel services for guests with the price that you pay.
“Overall, this is a wonderful hotel. The hotel is located in a very good location- not far from major attractions, great shopping and places to go. I was not happy with the fact that you have to pay extra for gym access, that should be included.”

- Nice location with decent hardware.
- Lack of in room amenities, limited service scope.
“The hotel hardware is very good, room is spacious and have decent views. However, the service and amenities are not up to my expectation. I do not get the feeling of personable and TLC from their staff. There are no in-room cutlery, no slipper. I have asked for a pair but there was no response from housekeeping.”
