• The hotel was nicely decorated, well maintained, and offered free breakfast and indoor parking.
• The location was a bit far from Santa Monica attractions, and there was no on-site restaurant.

“Our stay at the Ambrose was wonderful, and I would recommend this property to other travelers. The Ambrose is a nicely decorated, well-maintained boutique hotel located 20 blocks east of Santa Monica beach and Pier, and 17 blocks east of the 3rd street Promenade. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times during our stay. Many extras are included at no additional cost, including wireless internet access, breakfast, indoor parking, fitness area, bicycle rental, and neighborhood car service. Although there is no on-site restaurant, a limited room service menu is available 24-hours/day.”

• Fantastic reception. Staff very helpful.
• Not a thing.

“We were given a superb room. They have robes, mini-bar, and an outside deck area which makes the room feel even bigger. The staff was helpful with getting a cab. They were ready to assist when needed. They also have a wonderful living room area and they serve breakfast too. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Nicely decorated with homey pillows and comforters. Beautiful furniture that allows for maximum storage of peronal items to keep the room feeling large.”

• Everything-Excellent accommodations and experience, great continental breakfast.
• Our room was at rear of hotel-back alley a little noisy but not too bad.

“What a wonderful hotel and experience. Small, quiet, comfortable. Very clean, staff low key. fantastic continental breakfast-very fresh fruit, fresh pastries, coffee and juice. We have already recommended hotel to everyone we've spoken to. Free parking, too!”

• Excellent breakfast & great location.
• Thin Walls.

“The hotel was really nice for $162. a night. The location was a happy medium between Sanat Monica and not to far from Beverly Hills. The breakfast was great, Fresh fruit, gourmet muffins, croissants and breads. The room was clean and very serene feel to the rooms. The hotel was comfortable and very elegant booking. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The staff was very helpful and kind. The walls were kind of thin, I heard the toilets flushing from other rooms, but other then that it was perfect. I would definitely stay there again. ”
