• Good location.
• Need's updating and good cleaning. Staff was lazy.

“I would recommend this hotel only for people with out kids and who will spend very little time in the space. Not family friendly nor even attractive. Very poorly placed elevators and poor air quality.”

• Cheap - wallpaper peeling off walls, bathroom light was yellow/dim.

“The exterior and location were great - pleasing to look at and right across the street from shopping at a large outdoor mall. The lobby was nice as well - with flowers, a nice light an airy feel, and a basket of apples for guests to enjoy. The staff was friendly enough as well. The room, however, was rather disappointing. It did have a refrigerator and a microwave and a king size bed, which were nice, but the largest distraction from these amenities was the peeling wallpaper (about 5 inches hanging off 2 of the walls) in one of the room's corners. My husband and I also woke up with bug bites, which made three nights of sleep slightly difficult. However, because of the location, we would probably stay there again.”

• Water in the tub drained very slowly. I asked to have it worked on, but it was not worked on!

“The person at the front desk was just rude, because of small matter he made me and my old parents wait for more than 1 hr without giving us the room. He was rude. He just troubled us without any reason.”

“This is an okay hotel for the money however, I found the carpet and floor to be dingy, the furniture stained and in disrepair, and the pool and spa were filthy. They have decent beds and pillows and I like the free Wi-Fi but I don't think I'll be back.”

• I liked having a microwave and refrigerator in the room.
• The bathroom did not have a fan and was very small.

“I would go back there again for a short stay. It is not located real conveniently, but did have a nice view. It works for the short time we are there, and good for the price. I was not impressed with the hotel staff. I didn't find them to helpful.”

• There's a BBQ restaurant very nearby that was pretty great.
• It was a little beat/worn overall. I'd expected more based on the star level.

“The hall carpets are stained, the room was dull and a little uncomfortable for doing any extended work on a laptop. Not what I expected from a higher star rating. It seemed overall to be an aging hotel. I did visit the restaurant in the morning but chose not to have breakfast. I sat myself as indicated but then an attendant showed me to a buffet; it wasn't very clear what the system was. There was a small breakfast buffet but not much in it (toaster waffles etc). Only after I asked if they had some eggs, etc. The attendant say they had a regular breakfast menu. Other guests were also surprised to hear this as well. I took some coffee and returned to my room to work. Overall, I had a much better experience in a lower star rated hotel a couple days before, especially as a business traveler.Its not the hotel's fault but Simi Valley is a heck of a drive in and out if one is really in Southern California to be in LA. Getting back and forth during traffic was impossible.”

• The room was beautiful and I loved the location. What a view!
• The automatic closing bathroom door was a real pain.

“I was very pleased with my experience. The room, artwork, location and view were exceptional. I didn't get a chance to visit the pool, spa, restaurants, etc., but they looked very nice. I look forward to staying there again if I need to visit Simi.”

• Deluxe hotel accommodations in a budget situation, right off of the freeway and close to restaurants.
• The beds were a little to be desired (maybe it was just the room I was in).

“Would stay there again. Did not swim in the pool but it looks great. Did not eat at the hotel restaurant, but will next time. Over-all great experience. Highly recommended especially if your on a budget.”

“We have stayed there previously on business/pleasure. Husband on business/wife along for the trip. We remember when it used to be a Radisson in years past. We look forward to staying here again. It's very conveniently located just off the 118.”

“I have stayed at this hotel approximately 10 to 12 times. Each time it gets dirtier. The bath rooms need to be redone. The water smells. There is always some type of noisy disruption in the middle of the night. Lots of construction workers stay at this hotel. The crowd is not one which I want to be around staying by myself.”

• The level of cleanliness was horrible, the bathroom especially. It definitely needed some updating.

• The Concierge drove me to my New Year's destination about 5 miles away. Very nice.
• I was looking forward to the hot tub, but a couple was getting it on, so I didn't get to use it; there were dirty black marks on the carpet in my room.

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The room had an odd smell that took quite a bit to overlook.

“I really like this hotel. The only thing that would make me think twice before staying here again is the smell in the room. It was pretty strong, but I was to tired to mess with switching rooms. Most likely I would stay here again. The price for the room was great! Much better quality than I expected.”

• Hair in Bathtub, lose tiles on bathroom floor, smelled dusty, outdated.

“The hotel was no where near where we intended on staying. It took us an extra 30min to drive form Universal City to this location, we requested Burbank, not Simi Valley. I was impressed at first glance, gym, pool, nice lobby, and then we got to the room and it was outdated, there was obvious water damage to the walls around the windows, there was hair in the bathtub, and missing grout form the tiles in the bathroom. The tiles were also cracked and even broken! Over all I would say I will never stay here again!”

“Hotel rooms require updating. First room we received the bath tub did not drain the bath water. We called the front desk and they could not provide an engineer to fix. They gave us a new room, but the non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The bathroom room had mismatching fixture handles and the cabinetry showed years of wear. Walking around the facility, the hallway had a large garbage can and a 4x4 underneath to support a leak from the floor above. I was not please with the hotel.”

“It is dirty. The bathrooms are dated in most instances. The sheets are old. The elevator is very slow. I would only give it 2 stars, at best. I am staying there again this week, but only after I was unable to find another hotel.”

• Clean quiet friendly staff safe parking close to shopping and amenities complete facilities comfortable room.
• Non vented bathroom and bathtub did not drain properly.

• This hotel is located at the top of a hill that overlooks beautiful Simi Valley. Very close by is the Town Center Mall with many wonderful restaurant.
• There were some minor repairs that need to be made in the room to make it more attractive.

“If you are willing to pay more, you would probably be very happy with this hotel. Overall, I thought it was a very nice hotel in a very nice area.”

• My daughter has small bits all over her body.

“Three night stay; on arrival, I checked in and was met by professional welcome, was given my room and went to check it out. The paint was peeling from the ceiling and walls, tiles cracked and moldy in the shower, and the wall paper was peeling from places all over the rest of the room. I went back to the front desk and described the room as unacceptable. They were very accepting and offered me another room which looked to have been newly remodeled (no peeling anything). We only spent the nights in the room as we were visiting my sister during the days. After returning home my daughter asked what all the red marks (bits) all over her body, I believe they are bed bug bits. No, we will not be staying there again.”

• Driveway hard to get in to; blocked often.

“Nice hotel, close to the Reagan library and several golf courses (one of which I played, Simi hills, also nice and well priced). Generally a nice, cle, hotel, well placed and well priced.”

“We were moving, were extremely tired, and arrived very late at the hotel. We rented 2 rooms. One room had a dirty towel, dirty glass and the a/c was not working. Apparently someone else had been in the room, noted that the a/c was not working and moved rooms. The bed was not slept in and we were so tired we stayed in the room anyway. When we mentioned it to the desk clerk the following morning, they were unconcerned and said we should have just told them the night before and they would have moved us. They could do nothing for us other than that.”

“Great location. Next to the shopping center, right off the freeway. Lobby was clean but my bath room was horrible. Had few mold areas on the ceiling of the bathroom. Maybe due to water leak on the floor above. Not sure.”

• The front desk staff was very accommodating when we asked them to change our room.
• The overwhelming scent of carpet freshener in the lobby.

“Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were very fluffy. I forgot my cell phone in the room after we left. The manager was very helpful in letting me back in to search for it. We didn't use the pool or Jacuzzi, but both looked very clean and inviting.”

• Free breakfast is only offered if you book through the hotels website & they were out of king sized beds.
