• Decor, furnishings, linens, etc were good
• Poor food.Was approx 1/4 full, so all customers were in the same part of the hotel - noisy.

“It's a very nicely decorated hotel. The eating area is nice, but the breakfast was not good and the staff wasn't good about keeping food refilled. In particular the sausage was overcooked, my husband's bacon was swimming in grease, the potatoes were hard, and the orange juice was horrible, must have been 95% water. I thought it was a bit spendy to get a Motel 6 type of breakfast.”

• The room was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable.
• Evening desk clerk was surly and moody- ignored me until I asked him if I had offended him.

“The evening reception was not good - I waited 15 minutes for someone who gets me a glass of wine - no one was available even though it was another hour before the end of the reception. I went back to my room and was very comfortable but felt a little annoyed that I had wasted my time waiting for a drink. If a reception is offered (which is nice but not necessary or expected) then a reception should be organized and available during the posted time.

• The pool and the general ambience.
• The Cont. breakfast was horrific. From table arrangement to food to cleanliness it was bad.

“The hotel overall has a nice clean and fresh appearance. Although the window to our room faced the freeway off ramp and with the window open it was quite noisy, with the window closed it wasn't noticeable and we slept well. The staff is proficient and courteous though not exactly friendly per say. Our room was clean and comfortable. The pool was chilly but the pool room is attractive with the windows and plant placement.”

• Pet Friendly, Staff always willing to go the extra mile.
• Nothing

“My family and I stayed their for several weeks after our house caught fire. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was always clean. The kids love the pool. After our experience with this hotel we always look foran Oxford when we travel.”
