• Handicap accessible room was not accessible - no roll in shower for wheelchair.

• It proved to be very close to our concert. The lobby was beautiful and the room great.

• Quite Location but close to freeway. Near good resturants.

• Expensive lobby and grounds, large room.
• Trash receptacles were not emptied, large stain on carpet and very thin walls.

“For the area, the 4 stars are justified. The colonial Spanish decor and architecture were consistent. Open public spaces well designed. Rooms were, well, roomy even with couch. Walls were so thin that
I could hear normal conversation from neighbor word-for-word and freeway noise (not a problem at the Renaissance down the street where
I usually stay). And the trash receptacles were not emptied, a bit of a turnoff for an otherwise fine hotel. The Sunday brunch, at $38, looked great; but
I don't eat that way anymore.”

• Refrigerators would be nice in the rooms, but not necessary.

• Parking.
• First two rooms I was sent to were still unmade/not ready.

“I think they need an update to their interior finishes of the room. My particular room had a stain on the carpet and the drapes were dark and dated. The furniture was not that comfortable either. In general, it just looked like an early 90's version of a Hyatt room. Not sure when they updated it? It was not bad, just not as "clean and current" as I have come to expect from Hyatt products otherwise.”

• The beautiful scenery outside of my room. We were on the 4th floor looking out to the gazebo and mountains. Beautiful!
• We had to pay for internet. Was surprised when in many two star hotels, wireless internet is free.

“Beautiful and inviting nestled amongst mountains, with conveniences of modern facilities around the corner. Very quiet, comfortable and clean room. Enjoyed our stay very much.”

• It was attractive, comfortable, easy to locate and relaxing.
• There were a lot of events going on at once, this was a little confusing.

“The hotel was done in a beautiful Tuscan style where the indoors reflected the outdoors. The food was delicious, the room was very nice and luxurious. The bathroom was a little small for the room (it only had one sink and was in a small room). This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. It was also located very close to a nice shopping plaza with a theater. Very relaxing get-a-way. I would definitely stay there again.”

• I have been to this hotel several times. There are upscale shopping centers close by and good restaurants.
• I really can't think of anything I don't like about this hotel.

“I will always select this hotel because it is an upscale hotel and very good for the rate. It is in walking distance to upscale shops and restaurants. They do not charge for overnight parking. The restaurant is very good with outside dining if you wish.”

“I have stayed in this hotel before and the rooms are beautiful. They put me in a handicap room in a terrible location (loud). Everything was low to the ground and awkward. Not happy with this room at all. The hotel was empty and they said this was the only room left.”

• The hotel staff was extremely courtesy, friendly and helpful.
• The vending machines - they were not stocked with water and were faulty.

“The lady who checked us in displayed a high level of customer service, and was extremely courteous and helpful. The vending machine took my money, and although the hotel is not responsible for the machines, they not only offered my money back, but also sent 2 drinks to the room. The wait staff and food at the restaurant for breakfast was excellent and very accommodating.”

• Even though it is close to the freeway, it is a very quiet place to stay.
• Poor flow on shower head.

• I liked the ambiance, the staff, and the atmosphere of the surrounding community as a whole. I would recommend this hotel to others'.
• There was nothing not to like. Everything was perfect.

“The windows of our room were covered with plastic on the outside due to work being done. We were not warned about it at check in, iron given a choice of other rooms. When we asked the front desk agent, he said it would be taken down within the hour. It was never removed during our 2 day stay even after several requests. I needed to work in the room for a while during my stay, so Natural light would have been greatly helpful, but the staff either couldn't accommodate me or it was poorly informed about the work being done. The hotel was far from sold out, so they could have given us another room with a clear view. I felt I was in a cellar. Not pleasant. Someone needs to be reprimanded for this.”

“This hotel is one of the nicest hotels in the Westlake and thousand oaks area. It is conveniently located close to the freeway, restaurants, grocery store and Starbucks. Rooms seem to have been updated and there is ample free parking.”

• Right off the freeway, very convenient.
• The parking. You have park on the side of the building and it seems like a long way to walk to the hotel and to your room.
