• Friendly staff, nice swimming pool and fitness area. Location is nice, easily accessible.
• The room smelled bad, stailed and old cigarette smell. Carpet was dirty, the bed wasn't comfortable.

“This is a lovely hotel with large, clean, comfortable rooms. If you are arriving after dark, know that you have to drive through the parking lot of a strip mall to reach the hotel, which is easy to miss.”

• Drinking water in room, seal was broken on both bottles. Front desk was very helpful replacing tampered bottles.
• Breakfast buffet was 10-11 dollars, a little steep.

“This is a very Clean, Quiet and Pleasant hotel. This hotel's Modern, Clean, New Construction makes it a great place to be featuring a Great location with shopping, Starbucks, Sushi, Excellent Freeway Access. I am looking forward to going back!”

• The bath was too small for 2 people to get ready together.

• Not many guests for a weekend.
• Cramped bathroom area.

“Hotel gave no options on beds. We were forced to accept two queen bed even though, according to hotel staff, they had plenty of king size beds available. Hotel was not even at one third capacity. Better value is a mile down the road at I HOP or Denny's.”

• Great location, comfy beds and good cookies & coffee!
• Jacuzzi wasn't hot enough, only Luke warm.

“This hotel was very conveniently located at the base of a small shopping center. It had a variety of eateries all within walking distance from the front door. It also had a movie theater and gas station at the corner. It had cookies and coffee and tea available 24 hrs in the lobby. The beds were comfy too.”

• The staff was very friendly, new, clean, quiet. I did not feel like I was in a hotel.
• There was not anything I did not like. It is a very comfortable place.

“Again, this was a very comfortable place to stay. I thought it would be a great place for people with allergies; the room and bedding smelled fresh. There are good restaurants nearby.”

• It was walking distance to shopping center.
• The cable TV channels were very limited. Not even comedy central.

“Overall the hotel was an excellent experience. The room was nice and cozy and we were walking distance to restaurant and a movie theater. This was sort of an experiment to see what would happen when we put our money out there without knowing where we are going to be staying. I had my doubts about it being a good deal and I was thinking there would be a catch such as a poor quality hotel or extra fees, yet I found it to be a very pleasing experience and more than I expected.”

• The hotel was very comfortable.
• The hot tub was in a room open to the air on one side and was not hot.

“We found the motel difficult to locate using Map Quest directions. The motel staff and rooms were very nice. Marriott Fairfield includes a continental breakfast. Marriott Courtyard does not.”

• There was a cracker from previous guest in the room.

“I think this would be a great hotel for the business traveler. Not really great if you have a family. There are a lot of close places for food and entertainment. I got my room in record time. But the rooms are pretty small, and nothing at all to write home about.”

• Personally we usually like a mini frig in the room, but not a big deal

“We have stayed here before but it enjoyed it more this time. The TV selection was a bit better than the past. We visit our nephew and he came over and enjoyed the indoor Jacuzzi with us. Good stay and good memories made.”

• The bedding was absolutely heavenly!

“Although we were there for a very short stay, we had one of the most comfortable sleeps away from home. The bedding was fantastic. Located to many eating establishments made meals very convenient. Check in and check out was very smooth. It was nice to find hot coffee/tea/ cold water with fresh lemons available at anytime of the day.”

• Bathroom vent fan did not work, no phone book, TV lacked station directory. First night, cable, not accessible.

“For the price it was very comfortable and convenient. The weekend was a little noisy with tournament kids there, knocking on doors, running through halls, just being kids and unsupervised. My wife and I managed to ignore it all and they quieted down quickly. Weekday(s) were very quiet. We have become very accustomed to Marriott upper class dwellings, and this one was a little below par. Overall though we enjoyed our stay, for the price.”

“Will not stay here again for this price. Although it was close to family, for the money there are several others nearby newer hotels that offer larger rooms and the breakfast for same or less price. They seemed to be geared more to business folks. Fewer amenities, older hotel.”

• The most comfortable bed and pillows I ever enjoyed.
• Was promised breakfast was included in price -- but it wasn't! Very bogus!

“A very good room -- comfortable beds, good TV with hbo, good shower, clean room. The hotel staff left a lot to be desired -- when I booked, they advertised "breakfast buffet" but when I arrived I was told that it would cost $12 per person per day for tge buffet. I hate false advertising!”

• Toilet ran, front desk unfriendly, pretentious, and arrogant.

“Cheapest breakfast is $10.00. No room service even though they have a restaurant? Would only rate it a 1-2 star if that! They also said someone may knock on your door to replace the shower head with a memo taped to the sliding door. Toilet ran until you jiggled the handle. Difficult to heat the room.”

• The amenities of the hotel were very nice for the money spent on the room.
• The hotel was undergoing renovations--windows were taped with plastic.
