• The room was large and well furnished. The bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• They were painting rooms during my stay, and the fumes were overwhelming for a brief time.

“While not in the greatest area, this hotel was an oasis. It suited my needs as a business traveler to a tee, and I will be returning for the other three week-long sessions that I will be attending in Bakersfield this year.”

• Beautiful grounds & pool. Everything in room that we needed.
• Nothing. All our needs were met.

“Friendly staff with quick check-in. Comfortable bed, nice flat screen TV, nice frig & microwave and clean. Beautiful flowers and shrubs around the grounds. Lovely clean pool, large gazebo to sit out in out of the hot sun and nice hot tub to relax in. It was a better hotel than we ever expected!”

• Friendly staff, wonderful rooms, beautiful grounds and great restaurant.
• Just can't say anything at all negative.

“Best motel we have ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly & the rooms are spotless. All rooms located near spa & pool and the grounds look like Polynesian grounds. Beds are very comfortable and the breakfast is just about the best we have ever had. This is the best place you can find and the aura price is unbelievable for what all you get. We will stay there every time we travel with our 10 and 14 year old grandkids when going to lea. & san Diego. You can't find a better deal and if you are senior citizens like us you won't be disappointed.”

• Wonderful pool, great location.
• Lost my return reservation, refused to honor my confirmed return reservation.

“I had a second confirmed reservation a week after my first stay including a confirmation number which I made at the desk upon checking out from my first stay. The hotel "lost" my reservation and refused to honor my confirmation number or reservation. When I objected they threatened me with arrest. I am presently suing the hotel.”

• Easy access from freeway, very clean, great value, nice friendly staff and very nice pool area.
• Our shower in our room didn't work well. Couldn't adjust temperature or pressure.

• The parking was a little sparse.

• Great value and has all the extras.....pool, hot tub, full breakfast.
• Service needs to hook frig. before guests arrive so it is cold. When they get there to use it.

“Great value for your money and has all the extras that usually cost more. I will stay here every trip to Bakersfield. I highly recommend to everyone I know!!”

• Room and garden beautiful
• TV reception very poor/limited stations. Did not have Fox News which is important to us.

“Other than the TV (above) situation. We enjoyed our stay and if that is corrected would probably stay there again. We travel to Bakersfield often as family lives there.”
