• Clean and roomy.
• Other residents in my building were very noisy all night.

“Usually a good place to stay. Have stayed here before when visiting family. Usually very comfortable. This time the bed seamed hard or worn out and there were people moving in all night, so it was noisy.”

• The room was like a little apartment; Great for kids! Pool was nice.
• Charging $3 for a bottle of water in the room was not acceptable. It should have been free.

“This was a great place to stay with little ones. The kitchen was equipped. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use some updating, but it was clean. The pool/spa was great. Small, but enclosed and surrounded by a lovely garden and towels were provided.”

• Excellent room, quiet air conditioning, Fabulous free breakfast!
• No complaints.

• Easy to check in late at night, great breakfast.
• Did not like that they gave someone else our room after we checked in.

“Another couple tried entering our room after we had checked in. At 3:00 in the morning! They appeared to have finally figured it out after getting on their cell phone, but then someone called us and hung up. Very hard to get back to sleep after that, considering the train tracks.”

• The breakfast buffet included was excellent.
• No elevator.

“The hotel is convenient to downtown Bakersfield, it is excellent for families and long term stays. We really enjoyed having a kitchen and living room area. It felt more like an apartment instead of a hotel.”

• Rooms were spacious, kitchen was a plus and the grounds and facilities were very well kept.
• At the time of our visit a traveling soccer team was kind of loud and hogged up the pool area.

“Very nice hotel, I usually stay at the Four Points but the rooms were much nicer here. I frequent this area about 6 times a year and will start using this hotel”

• The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and the accommodations were more than adequate.
• The entry ways for the doors all seem a little dark.

“The staff at this hotel was very helpful and friendly for everything from directions to restaurants to helping us find a medical clinic at a moment's notice. It was also nice to be close to shopping and dining.”

• Hotel was very clean.

“The hotel was very nice, rooms had a full kitchen and living room even in the smaller rooms. Ground were well taken care of. Hotel gave a comodo look. Could get to my room from outside and parking right near my room. Over all would love to stay there again.”

• I loved the full kitchen!

“The Residence Inn was incredible. It was worth every penny and then some. The fireplace was a great addition, but the best part was being able to make your own food in the full kitchen. The breakfast was great, too.”

• It was a beautiful room, had a kitchen, we loved it!
• We loved it.

“If I could afford it my family and I would always try to stay at one of these hotels on all of our vacations. The room was clean and spacious, the kitchener was filled with everything we could need to feel right at home. We really did love our stay. This hotel is 5 star.”

• It was in a great location. Large spacious room. Pool an basketball for kids and a good breakfast.
• I was completely satisfied.

• The kitchen in the room is convenient.
• The location.

“When we checked in, we were given a room number and when we went to try to get into the room, the room was already occupied, I called the front desk and they informed me that they had given me the wrong room number. Aside from that, everything was fine.”

“The room was spacious with a kitchen, hotel staff extremely helpful, hot breakfast was adequate, eggs & potatoes, but no breakfast meats. Near railroad tracks, but insulated well enough that our sleep was not disturbed.”

• Sounds from train yard can be annoying.

“Clean, well appointed rooms, ideally suited for medium term business travel. Front desk staff was efficient, professional and friendly. Very nice buffet style breakfast. Very central location, easy access to Highway-99 and 3 miles from nice restaurants on California. Sounds from the train yard can be a little annoying, though.”

• The hotel was very comfortable and quiet. It felt like I was at home.
• The bed was a little saggy in the middle, and no public access for the internet.

“This was a very decent quality hotel for the price. I liked the feeling of being at home and being able to relax and barbeque outside next to the tennis court. The morning buffet was the best! The staff was very excellent and professional.”

“Residence Inn Bakersfield was more than expected! Their Front Desk personnel greeted my Family and I with such warmth; made us feel like family. Not to mention the accommodations, large room, very clean, fireplace and a kitchen...what a bonus!!”
