• Hotel room was very nice and clean. Room was actually a nice size and had a full sofa and coffee table with a king size bed. Pillows were excellent.
• We had trouble getting in the room every time we left it because the key cards were not working on the 3rd floor.

“Very clean and comfortable. Great restaurant downstairs that had great breakfast available. Would definitely stay again.”

• Got a free breakfast, due to an over-booking error in requested non-smoking rooms.
• We had to take a smoking room or no room.

• Quiet neighborhood, good housekeeping, fresh coffee.
• Carpets had stains from cigarette burns, Air conditioner unit too noisy.

“Everything was excellent. Had a good sleep. Mattress was soft and very comfortable. We felt fully rested in the morning. Only the carpet had stains or cigarette burns in many spots which was kind of uncomfortable since we both are non smokers.”

• We checked in late and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They noticed we had our children, and offered to bring extra towels.
• The bathtub had very slow drainage, so when we showered, the water filled up in the tub.

“I had an excellent experience. This hotel was better than others that I have visited. The staff was very friendly.”

• Very smooth checkin. Nice room, pool area.
• Carpet in room was dirty and the maid didn't vacuum.

“Courtyard Fresno Airport is probably the hotel that has checked me in the fastest. Great friendly staff, nice hotel with everything in perfect working order. Nice pool area with jacuzzi. Quiet area, despite its proximity to the airport. Amble parking and few fast food places around. Nothing really to see in the vicinity; boring part of town. Very convenient for Sequouia Natl. Park and the highways. Highly recommend!”

• Free airport shuttle -- even at midnight!
• Nothing that I didn't like.

“This hotel is extremely convenient for airport travelers, and I appreciated the free shuttle service to and from the airport. The room was clean and the staff was very accomodating about requests (2 beds, non-smoking, adjoining rooms, roll-away).”

• Snack at $3 a pop in the room is too tempting.

“The staff is very courteous and go out of their way for you. They let me in to the jacuzzi at 5:30 in the morning. The food in their dining room is reasonably priced and very good. The room are clean and spacious with everything in good working order.”

• Bottle water, nuts, fruits in room at extra cost. Too tempting.

“This hotel is located next to the airport and very convenient to the fairgrounds. This is our third stay at this Marriott. We love the service, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and bath are spacious and very clean. We were able to open the window to get some fresh air.”

• The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful, she recommended local restaurants when we asked
• I like a good continental breakfast, but their breakfast was $9/person

• not much available unless you went into town.

• Very close to airport. Room came with queen sofabed and desk.
• VERY thin walls! No bellboy or concierge, had to make bed in sofa ourselves.

“Depending on destination, meetings and desired entertainment and meals, the location may or may not be good. Right across the street from the main airport entrance is good, Starbucks 500 feet away is good. Is close to Clovis and east Fresno but far from the big shopping mall on Hwy 41 and we had to hunt for a restaurant. This is NOT a 3 to 4-star establishment. About 2 stars because of the thin walls. Rooms are not small but they are stuffed with furniture. Not much room to move around. Have free coffee but breakfast buffet is $9. ”

• We didn't receive our wake up call and the alarm clock didn't work , which caused us to miss our flight.

The hotel took responsibility for the missed wake up call by giving us a free night and breakfast. This covered the additional charge from the airlines for having to reschedule our flight. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay.”

• friendly staff, in a safe area, ample parking. Quiet, considering it's next to airport
• not as well kept as other Courtyard hotels. No workout room.

“You can pretty much count on Courtyards to have a no-frills, comfortable room. This one was not quite as nice and new as other Courtyards I've stayed at recently, but it was OK. Front desk was very nice & helpful. That part was better than other courtyards. Confusing computer access for in room use. Printer broken. No workout room.”

• No eateries within walking distance. Isolated.

“I would stay here again due to friendliness of staff and cleanliness of the facility.It was lacking in places to eat or ship within walking distance. There is a Starbucks opening next door. That is a positive! Overall experience was very good. ”

• The location is good, rooms are clean, and staff is friendly.
• Pipes were clogged, shower broken (but was quickly fixed), tub in poor condition, broadband failed, gym dated and barely functional.

“This is a somewhat dated and run-down Courtyard that is more deserving of a 2 star rating. I overheard at the front desk that they were preparing for inspection and had fixed the first floor but were putting guests elsewhere so that they could show their best face to the inspectors. The room was clean and quiet (the hotel was deserted) -- I was not horrified by my experience, but not impressed either.”

“The hotel provided a mini refrigerator and microwave at my request. The room was in good, not great, condition, but we were tired and despite being near the airport there was little noise. They did not give me a non smoking room but I was too tired to complain.”
