“When I pay for a room, I'm expecting not to be disturb, they didn't even have the "do not disturb" sign on the doors, they woke us up around 9:30 am to clean the room, and again at 11:00, they can wait for you to check out at noon before cleaning it or at least to have a sign you can hang outside your door to avoid being awaken when you don't want to, I would not recommend this hotel.” Oct 17, 2007 by

“I would not recommend this hotel.” Sep 28, 2007 by

“Good. Able to accommodate 3 days prior to stay. Most of area hotels are a minimum of 2 night stay on a weekend; they booked my stay 1 night on a Saturday night. In lobby, large selection of information/pamphlets on area activities & maps. Negative: Flower sheets on bed after I was told they would be white and bleached. Street noise/hard to sleep. Late at night no parking space was open/street parking is illegal/Office was closed/T parked my car on hotel grass area.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Loraine from Northridge, CA
“This hotel is in my opinion moderate. The room was large but a bit outdated including a broken bed. In a residential area and not near the beach, State Street, nor within walking distance to anything really. I like the full kitchen, pool and spa area. Lots of free parking which is nice. Not bad but hated the mediocre A/C.” Jul 13, 2007 by

“They could use new sheets, provide more parking, and fix patio screen doors to all rooms.” Jun 1, 2007 by
Ray from Granite Bay, CA “Good consistent best western accommodations. Pretty basic, but newly remodeled. Located in residential neighborhood near a hospital.” Apr 12, 2007 by
Dianna from Champlin, MN
“Overall, hotel was fine. It was very far from everything though.” Mar 14, 2007 by
Don from Laguna Niguel, CA
“For the price this was very clean, pleasant place to stay, though not close to either the water or the center of town.” Jan 5, 2007 by
William L. from Hermosa Beach, CA
“Despite a hard bed and a shower with inconsistent water temperature, the room was nice and we had a good time.” Jul 6, 2006 by

“This was a great deal for a Santa Barbara hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were some little "extras" in the room, like fresh fruit and cookies, that were nice. The pool was very clean and there was plenty of room for all the guests. Though the hotel isn't within walking distance to the beach or downtown, both are very close and easy to get to via car. My only complaint is that the air conditioner in our room wasn't working, which might not normally be a problem since it is often cool in SB, but it was very HOT during our stay and air conditioning would have been nice. They sent someone to fix it twice and when that didn't work they adjusted our bill to make up for it. All in all we were very satisfied and pleased with our stay.” Jun 14, 2006 by
Michelle from Palmdale, CA
“Overall the hotel was nice, but I would have liked it to be near shopping, restaurants, and/or the beach.” Apr 5, 2006 by
Brian from Chula Vsita, CA
“This room cost basically $200 a night. It stunk so bad of cigarette smoke we had to wash our clothes the next day (a non-smoking room was not available). Maybe it was just because we were in Santa Barbara, but to have to pay $200 a night for a room that wasn't anything special and stank on top of it all was ridiculous.” Hotel Representatives:
