• Nice indoor pool area.
• No elevators.

“Very close to airport in Fresno. Convenient bar and restaurant on site. Nice indoor pool. Event facilities available. Free parking. No elevator. No complimentary breakfast.”

• It is in a great location at the airport, and not far from Cal State Fresno and some of the better restaurants in the town.
• The door going outside slammed frequently and we had the room next to it.

“Located across from the airport. The usual Holiday Inn set-up in terms of a nice atrium with a decent indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Room as fairly old fashioned with small TV screens. Convenient if you stay for a night only.”

• Convenient Internet Use, Room to walk around
• small room, not the cleanest and dated.

“This hotel is below a 3 star rating as far as the room goes--the room was tiny and wasn't the cleanest, there were some beer bottle caps on the ground; however, it's an airport hotel, what do you expect? The building is also dated, they did update the decor, but not the building-our room had popcorn ceilings and a loud wall/floor AC. My husband was fine with the room, but I am kind of particular about cleanliness since we had our 9 month old with us. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and professional.”

• The pool area was beautiful and I loved the skylights and waterfall.

“Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, nice hallways and common areas. Pool area has the potential for a feeling of luxury if the kids weren't throwing beach balls and splashing you with the cold standing water on the pool deck as they scurry past.”

• The perfume was over whelming!

“The staff tried to get a better room for me but the other room only had less perfume in the room. That does not help when your allergic! I had a very bad head ache for most of the next day.”

• Front desk was very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool.
• Loud housekeepers and loud pool noise.

“Older property. Bathrooms need to be updated. Not suitable for extended stay. Felt unsafe with 2 room access points, and remote parking lot (although well lit).”

• Totally renovated - seems like a new hotel.

“This property has the bones of those venerable 70s Holiday Inns where everything was over sized. It has one of those central atrium's with a pool. The entire property seems to have just been renewed and seems spanking new. We enjoyed it very much.”

• The foliage and sound of the waterfall in the pool outside our sliding door.
• Food wasn't great.

“Not many guests the weekend we stayed, so the hotel was very quiet. Room was comfortable and clean and we especially liked the foliage and sound of the waterfall in the pool outside of our sliding glass door. A faux tropical feel that was a lot of fun. The food wasn't terrific, but not too bad. Definitely a good business traveler hotel, and for families too.”

• Very clean, friendly and a great atmosphere.

“My family were in town for the weekend and our stay at the hotel was brief however very pleasant. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. My boys swam in the pool and soaked in the Jacuzzi which was very nice and towel was provided for them. I highly recommend staying here.”

“We asked for directions and two of the staff members took the time to give us directions and a map so we wouldn't get lost. I found all the staff to be very professional and helpful.”

• The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable.
• The staff at the Reception was stand-offish and not friendly at all.

“Friendly maids. Nice beds, clean and well - appointed rooms, and the added touch of a pillow to order in the firmness you desire. Nice indoor and outdoor pool, and well maintained lobby, restaurant, and grounds.”

• Great value, friendly staff.

“I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of the property, the friendly staff, ample free parking and the nice clean rooms. The Holidome area with swimming pool, spa and lush foliage was beautiful. The full breakfast was included in the
cost of the room, and was excellent. I've never had a regular hotel to stay at when spending the night in Fresno, but I do now!”

“The recent remodel improved the property, but the sound dampening could be better for an airport location. I could hear trash being put in the dumpster. Friendly staff and the rooms are decent. Location is great if you need to be by the airport.”

“The walls are thin and the
room was
next to an exit/entrance door. It was obviously a fire door so when it shut, it slammed. There were people coming in and out every few minutes and the slamming would shake the windows in the room in addition to startling me awake. I really needed a good night sleep and was awake all night long. I asked the staff to move me, I was also traveling alone and as a female was not comfortable being on the first floor next to the exit door but they wouldn't move my room. I'll never go back to a Holiday Inn again.”

• Was not notified that they were renovating.

“They were still renovating the hotel when we stayed, so I don't feel I can give an accurate review. Front desk was awful. Other than that, stay was satisfactory.”

• Under renovation.

“The housekeeping staff was rude, and stood in the way as we tried to exit the hallway to the car, no move, no excuse me nothing. The hotel is in the middle of a renovation, so the tractors and throwing of large items in the dumpster at 7 in the morning, was not good for a sleep.”

• Nice place and they drove me to the mall.
• I know that the had rooms when I arrived, but I had to wait till check-in.

“Overall experience was pretty good, but I was tired and I had to wait a long time before they checked me in, most hotels that I have been staying at will let you check in before check-in time or right when I get there, and believe me, I know they had rooms there were hardly no people and no cars out side in the parking lot.”

“The staff couldn't have been nicer from check-in to breakfast the next morning. Rooms are nicely appointed and having wireless internet was great! Breakfast buffet was ok but the waiter couldn't do enough to accommodate us!”

• This hotel had a great pool.
• The restaurant and bar area was being remodeled at the time of our stay.

“The hotel was good but our room was very noisy since it was right next to the exit door. We stayed in the same hotel a few weeks earlier and this time I requested the same room next to the pool and they said that those rooms they had for their good clients.”

“I hate this hotel. I had a room on second floor with no elevator which is not located in the main building, even though I had two little kids and big baggage. The staff did not say sorry about that. There was construction so the lobby was very inconvenient.”

• It was very hot in the lobby and a little out of date.

“The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It was close to an array of good restaurants. We called ahead for 2 queen beds non-smoking and were told they would be available when we got to the hotel we were given two twin beds (not acceptable) when we argued a bit we were given 2 double. We did eat in the hotel restaurant for breakfast and had the buffet which was very good ($9.99 per person).”

• Room service was bad! Card key never worked!

“I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn before and will never stay at one again. We had a really bad experience here. Room service never brought us anything we need in a timely manner. We had to call them at least 4 times and usually got the item an hour later. The card key for the room never worked. I had to go everyday to the front desk to get new keys. Probably the worst place I stayed at. We asked for an extra blanket and room service said they had no more blanket. Very absurd!”

• The rooms were inside and safe. The slider opened into the pool/garden area.
• My room key failed twice and had to be replaced both times. I was stuck outside in back/dark.

“We were very surprised with the accommodations. Clean, bright, comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. I was traveling with my daughter and felt very safe. No noise from the airport, staff friendly and helpful.”

• The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful indoor pool area with waterfall.
• Public computer access could be upgraded for those travelers without laptops. A larger area with perhaps 3 or 4 computers would work well.

“Overall, this is an outstanding hotel that caters well to the business traveler and family alike. Its location is excellent and easy to find if driving and right across the street from the airport as well. Beautiful indoor grounds with a large swimming pool complete with waterfall and lush green vegetation throughout. Very appealing.”
