• The room was comfortable and clean, love the pool, and love the parking garage.

• Hot tub and the fish dinner, not the whole dinner just the fish was good.
• The smokers were all around us, even our non smoking room was terrible.

“If you are not a smoker avoid this place. It is not non- smoker friendly. The first thing they did was charge us $5.00 something about parking, no free internet, no coffee in the room, they charge you for everything, we would of had a better stay at 3 star motel and will never stay at a resort again.”

“Very bad rooms. The room was supposed to be a super deal. But they ended up giving me a below par accommodation with patches for torn places! Never go there. The casino has old women serving, felt guilty man.”

• Rooms were remodeled.
• Hotel was smokey with cigarette smoke.

“Newly remodeled rooms were modern, hotel location not the greatest, noisy at night with traffic from major interstate highway (I-80) was noisy all day and night.”

• Comfortable and friendly. Easy to get to and from.

“All employees were nice and eager to help anytime. The hotel was clean all the time and there were a number of different places to eat, quite a good selection, and all very good. If you just want to game, you don't have to leave the hotel for any thing.”

• One stop fun place, everything is there!
• No dislikes.

“I went with a friend to see the Oak Ridge Boys at Aseuagas. It was great fun. Never left the Nugget. Everything was there! House bands were good after the show. Services were great. Helpful, courteous and freindly staffing. I look forward to a return trip.”

• Hotel was well kept for an older establishment.
• Self parking too far away.

“The price was right and the hotel was close enough to the Reno Convention Center to not be a hassle getting there in the morning, but by afternoon traffic was a mess.”

• Noisy and old rooms, isolated location, rude staffs, no coffee maker at room.

“My room is very old. It faces the highway. The room is quite noisy, not only due to the highway but also due to the poor insulation in the building. I clearly heard people in the next rooms using washroom, taking shower, chatting. No coffee maker in the room. When I called the front desk. She said I should not expect a coffee maker in the room. The hotel is remote from everything.”

• Great value.
• Lots of smoke in the casino and restaurant area. Fees.

“I was disappointed to find out that there is an additional $5 per person resort fee upon check in. The fee covers the pool, concierge and valet service. The room was in the West tower which has not been renovated as has the East tower. Decor negatives: outdated fixtures, busy carpet and wallpaper. Decor positives: very comfortable, nothing was worn, granite counter in bathroom. The room was on the 20th floor and the view was great. The lights of the city at night were awesome. And, being train enthusiasts, we enjoyed watching the activity in the switch yard below us. We had to close the windows when we went to sleep to reduce the noise, though. The only negative of the room I could say is that I could hear the person in the room next to us coughing. A minor issue as it was during the day. As for the casino and restaurant area there was way too much smoke. Even though there is no smoking in the restaurants it still penetrated. The staff was friendly and I would definitely stay here again for the money.”

• Easy access to freeway and other entertainment.
• We were placed next to the elevator, it was very loud, couldn't sleep, trouble making guests no security.

“I like the hotel accommodations, location and service, unfortunately having been placed next to the elevator made it impossible to sleep and the fact that there was a group of teenagers riding the elevators making noise and yelling made my trip very tiring. I was not able to sleep.”

• Clean and tastefully decorated, with excellent room service at all hours.
• There was a long walk from the parking garage with no security or staff in night.

“I enjoyed the ease of check-in. The check-in staff was increased when the line became very long. However, when I reported to staff that a guest in line had dropped a paper from his wallet on the floor, they did not take any action to notify the guest nor collect the paper. The room was beautiful and clean, with a beautiful view of the city. The location was within walking distance of Victorian Square. Room service was quick, and the food arrived hot, with the cole slaw cold. I very much enjoyed my stay.”

• Price, quality, and location.
• Our room in the west tower looked a little old.

“Very good hotel for the price. Although we did not eat there, the hotel has nine restaurants! The casino was decent in size and the waitresses kept the drinks coming! The staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was a good size, rather large, and comfy! The furniture and room decor were a bit old though. Other than that, great place to stay on a budget!”

“This hotel has is fairly easy to get to. Wireless internet service is not included and costs an additional $11.99/day. Small TV. The room was fairly beat up and needed remodeling.”

“The maids knocked and entered the rooms at 8am on our floor, check out was not until 11am. Never again will I stay there. Their customer service didn't even acknowledge my complaint.”

• The indoor/outdoor swimming pool and spas are unusually attractive.
• Tile work in pool area is deteriorating. $5 surcharge is tacky.

“The indoor/outdoor pool and elaborate spas are the best I have seen. Also, the dressing rooms and complementary lockers are unusually well thought out. Price of the "Courtyard' annex are very reasonable.”

“My husband and I have stayed at the Courtyard many times and always find it preferable to the main hotel. It is quiet and the staff is friendly. They are always accommodating to our requests. The parking is great and we have never had any problems with accommodation.”

• Very old rooms, no air conditioning working, no microwave, no refrigerator.

“We got room in which air conditioning was not working, we couldn't slept whole night. There is no common microwave and refrigerator also, we needed to use to warm the babyhood. Overall, we really didn't like this as our first day was so bad and tiring, we went there for vacation and enjoyment but nothing was done because of these hotel. I will not recommend anyone this hotel.”

• The people, meals and some of the location.
• They have the gull to charge us $5.00 to park in self parking and they do not charge people off the street that park there.

“Because of this fee, we will not stay there again nor will we recommend it to family, friends, or clients.”

“I was not as pleased with previous stays. Usually a pleasant stay, but this time was next to crying baby. They sent a staff member to inquire why we were still in our room, because they did not check to see we had extended our stay for second night. Had to go to desk and get another room key for the second night.”

• The bed was too soft and the pool was packed with kids.

“It is a very nice hotel, but we were on the same floor as the pool and there were a lot of kids running around the halls making a lot of noise. Don't get a room on the 5th floor West tower unless you want to be by the pool.”

• Next door two yelling children. Husband was due in hospital next morning so needed rest, but not worth switching rooms for 1 night.

• Parking was poor.

“Nice hotel but was disappointed that it was not part of the main casino. Had to walk in the elements to get to the main towers. Indoor pool was in main hotel, room service times were limited whereas they were 24hrs in the main hotel.”
