• Location was good, half way between downtown and Lake Tahoe, and nice big room.
• Soft floor in the kitchen.

“We had a nice big room with a full kitchen sitting area with comfortable sofa and chair. It is close to the freeway, but we never heard the road noise. Convenient location, half way between the casinos downtown and Lake Tahoe.”

• Nice to have a kitchenette, nice breakfast buffet.
• King rooms were all taken, our room was next to freeway on ground level.

“This would be a good hotel for a business traveler on a long stay. No casino, easy parking, ample breakfast. But the only thing it's close to is the industrial park area. Maybe good for families. Be sure to specify what kind of bed you want before you commit.”

• Rooms have a lot of space!
• It's too far away from downtown.

“Great hotel if you want to camp out for a few weeks ("residence" implied) as the rooms are spacious and there's a full-on hot breakfast. It's a bit far away from downtown Reno and the casinos though.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. We were there for a b-ball tourney and the on site washer/dryer facilities was very convenient to wash uniforms.
• Honestly the only thing that bothered me was the strong smell of the chemicals that were used to clean the rooms but after the smell faded it was okay.

• It far exceeded my expectations for the price I paid. It was great.
• It did not have hook ups for TV games for the kids- only pay per view.

“I would gladly go there again. The continental breakfasts were outstanding and the service was excellent. We thought the location was great just off the freeway and within walking distance to many amenities.”

• Size of room, included continental breakfast.
• A bit far from my travel path.

“I used this hotel with my family, wife and two teenage children, as a one night stop over in the middle of a longer driving trip. For that purpose it was very good. Room was spacious, convenient for family use, included continental breakfast allowed us to get up and on the road quickly and early. Would definitely use for this purpose again.”

• Good value for amenities. I also liked free internet access which I used often.
• The location was farther from downtown Reno than I had wished for.

“This is a good value hotel that was clean, convenient and comfortable. The free internet access is a good amenity to keep in touch. I would consider using this hotel again in the future.”

• Large, comfortable rooms, Very clean. Comfortable bed.

“We liked this hotel very much, even though we arrived late and did not take advantage of the property. It was still nice to arrive to a room that did not feel cramped or dingy. I highly recommend this hotel for those staying for several days.”

• I needed 2 beds per room. Got one bed and a fold out bed which was very uncomfortable.

• Clean, immaculate and excellent service by hotel staff.
• During the Labor Day weekend, it was crowded for breakfast and some items ran out I .e eggs, sausage and potatoes.

“Hotel was really a good value for the money spent. Wish we could have stayed there longer.”

• More than I expected in amenities but a little off the beaten path. good value for the price on that particular occasion.
• Continental Breakfast was way over crowded and the bathroom sink could have used some special cleaning under the rim.

“Nice hotel, sort of far out but good for people that don't want to be around gambling. Nice amenities for the price. Could have done with out being pre-charged for room incidentals.”

“I arrived with 2 different room dates, but the staff was able to work it out so all I had to do was check out one morning and check back in, and still keep my original room. The breakfast was wonderful; my suite was beautiful, and for my price, which was $45, even the manager of the hotel was a little shocked at my bargain price.”

• It has a computer & printer available for guest use, which made it possible to print out my boarding passes before returning home. Rooms are great too.
• Pool was not ready for use.

“This is a wonderful motel away from the main attractions of Reno. It is close enough to drive wherever you want, and yet have some privacy. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need for your stay (dishes included). I liked the fact we could buy groceries and store them in the fridge, or cook in our kitchen. They also offer grocery shopping service. The staff is very helpful and friendly, the rooms are kept clean and they also do the dishes in the dish washer for you. This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at.”

• The bed was the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in. I got the best nights sleep that I can remember.
• I prefer to stay more centrally located- but it wasn't too far out.

“Great for business or vacation travelers. Kitchenette was clean and equipped with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The complimentary breakfast was a plus.”

• The elevator entry was a little odd.

• Out of the way in terms of location but not enough to prevent me from returning.

“The perfect place for those of us who don't want to be near the casino scene. The staff were friendly and the complimentary breakfast exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the hotel for those who are passing through town or are there for a couple of days.”

• The hotel offered a hot complimentary breakfast, not just a continental breakfast.

“This hotel was an excellent choice. Rated at 2 1/2 stars I was expecting a dive, but the Residence Inn was very much the quality of the Marriott which is the mother company. It was in South Reno, but only about 10 minute drive from the strip in Reno.”

“Was overbooked but we got our rooms fine. Didn't have nonsmoking room available but put ozone filtering system in room while we were at dinner and it was fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful and rooms were great.”
