• Good, quite location. Friendly staff.
• No amenities and no room service.

“To save money, their room service only happens once a week. The room stays dirty till then, and I didn't completely agree with that.”

• Kitchenette was a plus and the seating area was cozy for reading.
• The entryways were not clearly marked so it was difficult to guess where our room was initially upon arrival.

“Clean room, better than expected, easy access to freeway, 3min drive to Old Town Santa Barbara, no frills lobby but clean and accommodating staff was very helpful and friendly.”

• The rooms were clean, quiet and very spacious. The kitchen area was excellent.
• The location was not very central and you could sometimes hear other guests.

“This was above our expectations. The rooms were large and very clean. There were not many hotel extras, but for the price that was to be expected. The hotel staff was very attentive and the overall experience was wonderful!”

• Great location if you are doing something at UCSB.
• Beds and pillow were very hard.

• It had a full kitchen so I could eat in for many meals and it was clean.
• It was a long way from town and meant a lot of driving.

“I was surprised at the size of the room and kitchen for the price. I liked that it was pet and family friendly although I had neither with me at the time. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• Rooms were clean.
• Paying for internet, its free at other CA hotels.

“The accommodations were nice. I liked having the refrigerator and microwave. I did not like having to pay wireless internet and will not stay at the hotel again for this reason.”

• Nothing, maybe location only.
• The hotel lobby had trash can overflow, clerk on phone, gave us a room that was smelling like cigs, we left, and did not stay, I was sick by the smell.

“I feel this may be a hotel for someone who just needs to sleep and move on, a truck driver or business man, not a long stay for travelers who want a place to stay that has pleasurable grounds, and atmosphere.”
