- My room was spacious, clean, and quiet.
- The public areas were often cigarette smoking, noisy casino areas.
“If you can tolerate having to negotiate loud, cigarette smoke filled gaming areas to get to your room and your meeting rooms, then this will be a bargain. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. The most popular restaurants in the hotel were dreadful.”

“The hotel was away from the strip in a comfortable atmosphere. Overall this hotel was very nice. It provided a luxurious environment. Spa and pool area located within the facility. It also had a whole floor dedicated to food and entertainment. I would stay there again. We had a luxury tower room.”

- The hotel was uncooperative in resolving my problem. I rerouted to Vegas and spent a large sum of money.
- They were rude and not helpful.

- The rooms I asked were not ready-delayed until 6:30.
“I booked three rooms for my family and friends. Arriving early I hoped to secure the rooms prior to picking them up at the airport. Returning at 4:30 only one room was available. The other two rooms were not ready until after 6:30 that evening, which was difficult and inconvenient.”

- Nothing.
- Old and raggedy, inconvenient, room not a 5star at all.
“Beds were hard as a rock, old looking, elevator & escalator not working with no notice or warning. No refrigerator or microwave, which you can get in a motel 6 for less. It was a good hike to get to parking area. Rooms were not much better than a Motel 6. This was in the tower. Everything cost extra and they charge an energy charge per night.”

- The front desk staff was excellent.
- No coffee service in the room and no fridge.

- Indoor pool was OK, carpet in the room.
- Hot tub, old had cracks in tile, outdoor pool was old, threatened to charge for pool towels if we did not return them.

“Our room was next to very loud air conditioning equipment and the view out our window was of the air conditioning equipment, which was about three feet away from our window and about ten feet high, it was all we could see. If you don't use the valet you can't use a luggage cart so get ready for a long walk through the casino with your luggage.”

- Easy check-in, easy out, beautifully appointed rooms, good location.
- It is unclear where to park, so many reserved spaces, no signs.
“The maids are the only thing that upset this trip to the beautiful Atlantis. A small chunk of glass on the carpet next to the bed. Ouch! And, loud laughing and shouting to one another outside in the hallway at 9am, despite my do not disturb sign. I didn't get in until late, and isn't this supposed to be a late night, party kind of place. Then, morning shouting waking me up. If I wanted to go to bed early and rise early, I could go to the office.
Their shouting was in Spanish, so I don't know what they were laughing or shouting about.”

- The food in the Napa Bistro was very good.
- The decor of the hotel is very stale
“Located out of the center of Reno, adjacent to the convention center and not far from the airport, this hotel is best suited to the business traveler with a vehicle. Shopping malls and chain restaurants are near by but you need a car to reach them. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. If late 20th century shocking pink and purple decor is what you are missing then this hotel is for you.
”

- The Manhattan-style deli was excellent.
- Our room was located outside of the main hotel/casino, the rooms were of poor quality.
“We were very excited to stay at The Atlantis, but were disappointed when we arrived at our room. It was located quite a ways away from the resort. My daughter is allergic to dogs and we could hear dogs barking constantly from the room next door. When we attempted to call the front desk, to ask if we could change rooms, the front desk button on the phone would connect to a woman's private phone line who was not affiliated with the hotel. We were very disappointed with the room.”

- They have good public areas and the Atlantis Oyster Bar is superior.
- The bed was uncomfortable, the bathroom was crumbling, the bed and couch covers were nasty, the TV was tiny, no fan in bathroom.
“Once excellent hotel and casino now showing signs of slovenly old age. The restaurants are still good, especially the oyster bar, but the room we got was falling apart, especially the bathroom. And please wash the bedspread some time this decade.”

- They actually upgraded our room the 2nd night.
- The first room we stayed in was suppose to be non smoking & smell terrible like it was a smoking room.
“There was 2 sections of the hotel. The section that we stayed in the first night was like a Motel 6 & that is not what we wanted. Fortunately the second night we were able to upgrade our room to the Casino section of the hotel & it was much nicer. It was what we expected.”

- It's a casino.
- Valet parking terrible, no help with luggage or door opening. Then bellman was rude when we took cart.
“First impressions are everything! No help checking in and then we complained and bell man came up to room and apologized but we were already upset by then (waiting for luggage). They wouldn't let us take it up on their cart that we loaded. All main restaurants closed at 11:00 pm, after 11:00 had limited food and only one restaurant open with limited food choices. Didn't expect that in Reno.”

- Mobile lodge was surprisingly clean and had a nice smell.
- Cleaners walk in without knocking and make lots of noise.
“I really enjoyed my stay at the Mobile lodge Atlantis. I was surprised at the room. I thought it would be tiny and stinky. I would stay at the Mobile lodge always because its a great price and everything I need is there, except coffee. The air conditioning was great, kept room cool and hide all the noises outside. Cleaners need to knock and be more quiet in the morning.”

- The deli is good, better than the snack bar upstairs.
- No directions to get around blocked aisles due to construction.
“They had the main doors from the rear parking lot blocked off, as well as several aisles inside, and no directions to the front desk. I got stopped twice by people who'd never stayed there and were trying to find a way to check in. The snack bar had stopped offering milk shakes. I had other issues with the hotel this time. I have stayed on over 40 hotels (different chains) in the last 6 months, and it really is starting to show in what I expect from my hotel. The shower nozzle was pulled out from the wall in my room. Not a good thing. Finding an electric outlet by the desk to plug in the computer was a challenge. (It was hidden behind the curtains on the other wall.) Internet access costs $10/day. Why? Very few hotels charge for this any more. Trays for room service put out at 8pm were still in the halls at 8 am. (That's just wrong.) All in all, I will think twice about staying at this hotel in the future.”

- Dumpy motor lodge. Have to pay $10 a day for internet access. This should be free.
“I turned the shower on and moved the shower head to change the direction of the flow and "bam" the whole shower pipe breaks off. Water is going everywhere. Luckily I was able to turn the water off. Also, nowadays all hotels should have free internet access. This one charges $10 a day.”
