• Most of the personnel at the hotel treated us well.
• The pool was cold, crowded and the spa costs $8 per day.

“I'm not sure I could recommend this hotel. The restaurants were great! Circus, was convenient, however the man near the elevators gave us wrong information and the pool and spa were negatives.”

“If you are looking for an affordable place to stay in downtown Reno, the Silver Legacy is your place. Very affordable rooms and very nice. Clean room, we got our choice of which floor we wanted to stay on. The pool is nice although the hours aren't the best.”

• Parking is limited. Smoking room.

“Overpriced. Dated property. Parking is limited. Received a smoking room. Check out Circus, Sands Regency or Eldora do for a better value. Do not plan on returning to this property.”

• The location was good and affordable.
• The check out time should be a little later, like 12 noon.

“My family and I went there for the weekend to just getaway, so it was not really planned out. The price for the stay at the Silver Legacy was reasonable. The room was non-smoking (but you could clearly see cigarette burns on the blankets). We had a nice view from the 31st floor. Overall, the room was nice, clean & affordable. One more thing I like about the Silver Legacy, you were not overwhelmed with cigarette smoke when you walk in.”

• Most employee's were friendly and helpful.
• My Mother got food poisoning and needed a wheelchair to get to our car, there was not one available.

“The hotel was wonderful, however, my mother got food poisoning from one of the restaurants, she became very ill and had a hard time walking. I called the front desk to try to get a wheelchair. Unfortunately, after being transferred to several different departments, I was told that there was not a wheelchair available. We had a great time until my poor mother got sick and we had to cut our trip short. I would recommend that they have a couple of wheelchairs available for emergency instances, like taking someone to their car or ambulance. Otherwise, I really enjoyed staying at the Silver Legacy.”

• We were there for Ringo Starr concert but this was convenient and great.
• Everything was terrific so no negatives.

“This is a very convenient, friendly, efficient hotel. We've been very pleased to stay many times here to attend shows as well as enjoy their dining experience.”

• Heart of the city with easy access to the rest of the city.
• No shuttle to Amtrak, had to take taxi.

• Location, and the casino were great.
• Our room 3132, had a very bad odor - but the hotel moved us.

“Great location, fun casino and dining as the Silver Legacy is connected to the Eldora do and Circus . The staff was very helpful as our first room had a strange smell from a carpet cleaning. They moved us immediately. Our second room was great. We'll be back!”

• Close to the freeway and a great price.
• Just the huge crowds on Friday and Saturday nights.

“Hotel was clean and close to the freeway if you are on a road trip. Movie theatres aren't far away and everyone was friendly. The one major complaint I have with silver legacy and the peppermill is the resort fee that they add on to your bill after you checkout.”

• I loved the speedy elevators for different floors. I hate waiting through 10 stops to get to my room.
• The AC in our room couldn't keep up with the local heat. I love a sub zero room and this was barely comfortable to sleep.

“I liked this hotel a lot. It's beautiful and was clean and friendly. The AC in our room having trouble with the heat wave could have just been our room or the heat wave. We are going back next weekend and will compare.”

• Hotel was centrally located and easy to find. Enjoyed the restaurants and casino.
• Pool was small. Had to show room key to go to elevator each time. Fee to work out each day.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean. All amenities were easy to find. Restaurants were clean and food was excellent. Would visit again.”

• Mattress was very uncomfortable, sagged in spots, no coffee available in room.

“I had a very sleepless night due to the sagging, lumpy mattress. Outside of hotel could have been kept cleaner. I noticed Reno has become very dirty. I have been coming to Reno since 1957. Was totally surprised how dirty it has become, especially in the downtown area. Are the hotels aware?.”

“The hotel appeared up to date and not old. The casino was also nice. There were a variety of restaurants including an upper end - Sterlings. The food and service was excellent. Being situated in the Downtown area was also nice since other casinos were within a short distance.”

• I did not like the hotel.
• It was suppose to be Handicap accessible but the shower had no drain and the in the room the carpet was soaking wet. It was horrible.

“The lobby is beautiful and the restaurants are okay. The room was big but my Mom was in a wheel chair and the handicap accommodations were not adequate. The shower did not drain and the former guest had the floor of the room soaking wet. I called and no one came to dry the floor. The shower did not have a hand held feature-only a chair and a shower head you could not reach? The hotel was full and we were left in a room that was wet and unsatisfactory.”

• View out my window (36th floor) was spectacular. Room nice and big.
• Outstanding breakfast buffet did not open until 8 a.m.--I am an early riser, as are most businessmen.

“Spacious, elegant, first rate in every respect. Since I don't gamble, I could not compare the gaming facilities with other hotels nearby. Staff entirely friendly, quick to respond, alert to your needs. Fun stores on the reception level. Easy walking distance to multiple large casinos. All the food/beverage you desire. I'm coming back again!”

• The hotel was a casino, yet the room was still quiet. The restaurant we went to was excellent and staff was friendly.
• There was no coffee maker in the room.

“The hotel was extremely affordable and we choose it because we were going to a show in the hotel/casino. Everything about the hotel was convenient, and we didn't have to pay for parking. I don't get to Reno very often, but I definitely would recommend this hotel to others traveling there.”

• The hotel did not live to its standards. The swimming pool was closed and the Jacuzzi was a motel 6 and worse rating.
• Jacuzzi was as dirty as possible and no jets.

• Even though theme of room is a bit antique, it should have a more updated/modern look to command its star rating.

• The hotel would not give a room with a king size bed? It was our 30th anniversary and the hotel was not over booked.

“The hotel should try and give customer satisfaction. It was our 30th anniversary and it was special. The clerk said that the hotel booked us a smoking room and all we could have was two queen size bed in non-smoking, my husband is 6"2 and he is a big man we slept in separate beds for the weekend. Also the earth quake 4.7 and 400 trimmer did not help. My husband was hypersensitive and stayed in the room.”

• Every thing I need was within the hotel. Room service was fast and fresh.
• Couldn't call ahead for valet to bring my car up.

• How there was pretty much everything there in the hotel didn't have to drive anywhere.
• Not many restaurants stay open late.

“I loved this hotel my boyfriend and I don't get to spend much alone time together he is in the military and it was just a nice fun time for us. We hope to go back the weekend after next with a whole group of friends.”

• The toilet did not flush well. Very weak flush. Must be the new flush system they inputted.
