“Room was nice. Hot tub in room. Wish the bed was a king, not a queen but there wasn't room for that, not that the room was small, because the bathroom/tub area was large and there was a whole separate room with a roll out sofa.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 30, 2008 by

“My first room on the fifth floor was awful. Also could not get room service for breakfast the next day.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 15, 2008 by
Brandon from Modesto, CA
“I liked the hotel very much. It had a great room with a huge spa in it which is standard in every room. Dual Plasma TV's. Free valet parking and bellhop service. Very nice for the price.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 6, 2008 by
Nancy from Placerville, CA
“This hotel does not have balconies though it said it did, it is six floors and it is nearly impossible to get outside. The second queen bed was a sofa bed and not comfortable. Not a 3 star experience and they kept trying to get us to buy into the timeshare program. I will never return.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 30, 2008 by

“Older room/furnishings. The big in room jetted-tub is actually very inefficient/inconvenient if you are just trying to take a shower because it's hard to close off and keep warm.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 30, 2008 by
Steve from Pollock Pines, CA
“The spa was not working, was quite a let down as this was a birthday getaway for my girl and I.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 11, 2008 by
Jeff from Palm Bay, FL
“This hotel was very nice with very friendly staff. The room was a great setup, not your standard stuffy hotel room. The hot tub in the middle of the room was the best. The location is in the mountains away from the craziness of the downtown area, but you did have to drive to go to the lake or casinos, but not far. Simple improvements could be a hairdryer & fan in the bathroom, a little more attention to cleanliness & an option for a king size bed, but other than that this was an awesome place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jul 7, 2008 by

“Tahoe Seasons is a romantic get away hotel with built in fireplace and Jacuzzi for two. The rooms are being updated and I hope they keep the Jacuzzi.” Jul 3, 2008 by
Jayme from Sunnyvale, CA
“Great for money and location!” Jul 3, 2008 by
Terre from West Sacramento, CA
“Although I asked for a very quiet room as high up as I could be and away from stairs & ice machine, for some reason we were put at street level, next to the only busy street there. We were exhausted when we arrived and just wanted to take a nap, but were not able too because of the noise from the street. The room was nice, except for the bed was definitely not a queen size, more like a very small double. As such, my husband had to sleep on the pull out bed in the living room area. There was no AC in there, so he boiled all night. Also, the TV in the bedroom did not have cable. We asked for them to look into it, but when we arrived back at the room later that night, still no cable. We felt the staff acted as if we were intruding on them.” May 27, 2008 by
Ric from Ocean Ridge, FL
“Oversized room with separate sitting area. Very strange room layout. Large tub in the centerpiece of suite with "windows" into each of the room areas. Bedroom shares space with kitchen which has a small booth/table area. Mirrored wall and gas fireplace in bedroom. Couldn't tell if the hotel is trying to be a "romantic getaway" or a ski lodge with hot tubs. In either case it is not the right choice for many travelers.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 12, 2008 by
Jenny from Arcata, CA
“The staff was very helpful. I would have like the rooms to be modernized.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 30, 2008 by
Alex from South San Francisco, CA
“Very convenient location right next to California Lodge Lift (Heavenly Ski Resort). Friendly staff, nice pool and hot tub. Rooms need to be renovated. Looks like the last time there was an update done was 1970. Funny side note: If you need a hair dryer please call the front desk and they will deliver one to your room.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Karina from Turlock, CA
“Hotel was beautiful, the location was not close to down town a 10min drive. But if you are going to ski/snow board it across the street from Heavenly. Room was great, customer service upgraded us for no extra cost very clean! I would recommend it to any couple.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Vonne A. from Walnut Creek, CA
“Pleasant surroundings, away from the center of town. Helpful and friendly staff. We would certainly return to this hotel.” Apr 1, 2008 by
David &. from Atwater, CA
“The room was more like a 2 star room. It had a slashed painting on the wall, furniture that was burnt and damaged, sink drain hardly worked, had to call for maid service at 3:30 p.m. because she never showed and when she came just before 4 she only changed the towels and made the bed, the restaurant was only open for breakfast, teenagers smelling strongly of alcohol using extreme profanity ran around lobby and front of hotel for several hrs unrestricted. Not the family vacation I planned and paid for.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Heidi from Redding, CA
“It was very nice. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious but I didn't enjoy the bed. It wasn't comfortable.” Mar 14, 2008 by
Alfred from Mckinney, TX
“The overall experience was great. We were disappointed with the comfort of the bed and the flat pillows since everything else was first class.” Mar 5, 2008 by
M from Mountain View, CA
“Very nice hotel right next door to heavenly. They need new pillows and the maids don't clean as much as I am used to at other hotels. The in room Jacuzzi I find a little quirky. The staff is extremely nice. They kept the car in valet after we checked out while we skid which was convenient. You do have to valet, but it is not a big deal: they don't expect a tip but happily receive one. You check your skis in downstairs so it is really easy to just walk out the door.” Mar 5, 2008 by
David from Livermore, CA
“I've stayed there many times and I would always go back. It has a good location and nice rooms.” Feb 1, 2008 by
Carolina from Campbell, CA
“Hot Tub wasn't working, room service was not on time, we had to call several times. The Manager needs some customer service/relations training.” Jan 31, 2008 by
Matt from Sacramento, CA
“This hotel was a great place to stay for planning a trip to Heavenly Ski Resort and being on a romantic weekend with the girlfriend. The room had a Jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and a very comfortable queen bed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lastly it was easy to get to the casinos from.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Dan from San Francisco, CA
“The Tahoe Seasons Resort is excellently placed near the foot of Heavenly. The rooms are excellent, and the staff very courteous and eager to please. The valet parking can be a bit irritating at times, (you cannot park yourself) but the other pluses more than make up for this one minus. All in all, a great experience at a great price.” Oct 26, 2007 by
Greg from El Dorado Hills, CA
“The hotel was exactly as described, maybe a bit nicer and I will definitely be using Tahoe seasons again when I travel to the Tahoe area.” Oct 18, 2007 by
Leslie from Fair Oaks, CA
“We loved the Tahoe seasons, as my husband so eloquently put it, "we now have a new standard for hotel rooms. Thanks.” Oct 16, 2007 by
De A. from Rocklin, CA
“The hotel was nice and quiet. It needs a little updating, but not too bad for the price. The bar was very quite on a Friday night and doesn't really offer food, unless you like boiled hot dogs, Nachos or soup. I would definitely return with my family for a weekend stay.” Jun 27, 2007 by
Jim from Atwater, CA
“I had read the reviews of this hotel prior to the trip. I agree with them that the rooms are dated, and in need of remodeling. Spa/hot tub in room novel but not needed, plus did not fully function. Located well if you were going skiing, it is a ways away from the lake and casinos. The lobby staff was very good and did help where ever they could. Even with price finder, the rooms were pricey; I just expected more for my money.” Jun 21, 2007 by
Aaron from Long Beach, CA
“I really liked the hotel, the room was large, the fold out bed is queen size which was good, not noisy at all, and staff was great when ever I needed something. I would stay there again.” Jun 5, 2007 by
Linda from Lodi, CA
“It was a very relaxing experience and service was excellent.” May 23, 2007 by
Rodney from Sacramento, CA
“Great people great place to stay.” May 23, 2007 by
Kathryn from Dayton, NV
“Great location if you are skiing at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe. Walking distance to the resort and some dining. The big spa tub in the room was nice, but the room gets very humid if you don't close the shutters.” Apr 9, 2007 by
Cynthia from Citrus Heights, CA
“The rooms were clean, neat and attractive. The guest were quite noisy. Kids were running up and down the halls and we could hear every word the people next door were saying. Not very romantic!” Mar 30, 2007 by
Michael from Durango, CO
“I arrived to a room that was filled with mold. It had a hot tub in the middle of it, so that did not add to the problem. They told me they could have done something about a refund. You guys did not accommodate the fact that I had an allergy problem with mold. I stayed at a hotel in keystone, Colorado that did accommodate my issue. And gave me a refund. I feel like a) lied to me about the quality of the hotel, b) did not accommodate my needs when I could not stay, c) were rude when I called to ask if there was any possibility of a refund. ” Mar 14, 2007 by
Paul from Berkeley, CA
“Overall, I enjoyed this hotel quite a bit. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is literally right next door to heavenly, which is convenient for skiers. The room I stayed in had a queen bed with TV, a very large spa bath in the middle, and a living room area with another TV, DVD player, and a sofa sleeper, which was great for keeping the kids separate from the parents who just want to sleep. The decor was a little dated, but still very nice. The bathroom was very interesting -- it has a very large spa bath with Japanese-style blinds that you can fold in or out. Overall, we had a great time.” Mar 7, 2007 by
Alison from Sacramento, CA
“Overall our stay was very nice. The room was comfortable, but a bit dated. Some complaints: the toilet ran, there was a frequent loud ticking coming from the fireplace, and we were disappointed to find after waiting for over 30 minutes for the spa in the room to fill up that the jets didn't work. Do not bother with the breakfast at the restaurant downstairs. We asked them if we could charge the room to a different credit card when we checked in and they said that it was no problem, only we were informed the card.” Dec 21, 2006 by
Al from Newhall, CA
“I love the hotel but the tall hill may make getting there difficult if you don't have snow chains and are driving in the snow.” Dec 14, 2006 by
Tamara from Marysville, CA
“Driving up to the resort, it almost feels like you are going to drive straight up heavenly ski slope! It is right next to heavenly and although we didn't ski this time, we might when we go back. The lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and a huge wood fireplace made it feel very welcoming. We really enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub, and the room was plenty accommodating to return with our two children.” Dec 3, 2006 by
Josh from Travis Afb, CA
“Overall, the hotel was pretty good. There was complementary valet parking which was nice. Also the lobby area was very cozy and nice. However, the rooms were a bit dated and the room layout was strange. The bathtubs were in the middle of the room with small Japanese-style doors to close it off from the rest of the room. This would have been fine if it were only my wife and myself; however, I had my mother, brother, and sister with me as well and it was a bit strange as the doors did not completely close off the bathtub (plus there were shadows).” Nov 15, 2006 by
John from Benicia, CA
“Wow! A great place to reacquaint yourself with your love. About 1 mile from "the city", it was very peaceful, great views of ski slopes/Lake Tahoe. Huge recreation/reading rooms in the lobby. Definite boner material!” Nov 15, 2006 by
Manuel from Hughson, CA
“Nice place for sport folk and perhaps couples like us. I could go back but not to exited if opportunity came up.” Nov 14, 2006 by
Jeesoo from Albany, CA
“Spa was good for our family. My kids were enjoying spa. I think it's good for couples rather than family.” Oct 31, 2006 by
Sheryl from Denair, CA
“Their web designer is brilliant but reality was nothing like the virtual resort. As we checked in another couple was lodging a complaint; should have been a heads up for us. Also, they decided to train a new desk person as we arrived. It was obvious she had no prior training at all in dealing with the public. They seem to cater to the "owners." We will never stay there and we will advise our family and friends, too. Very unprofessionally run and lousy location if you want to do anything beside look at pine trees.” Oct 30, 2006 by
Rebecca from Ann Arbor, MI
“Bring your own sheets and towels to this place, because you won¿t get any here. Also be prepared to act as your own maid, and if you complain the manager Kathy will tell you that you have a 'wholesale rate' so that you are not entitled to the normal amenities of a hotel. ” Oct 23, 2006 by
Mon from Gardnerville, NV
“Everything made noise: the AC, the pump. TV's were so small, the bed for two was almost a twin size. no shampoo. Not a resort and not a hotel.” Sep 27, 2006 by
Susan from Maple Valley, WA
“The hotel is at the base of Heavenly Ski Resort. We had a nice view of the mtn from our window. Room nice but furnishings old and worn. Enjoyed the hot tub in the room. Restaurant was not open on our visit in September 06, only cafe. Parking by valet only but was complimentary. Since hotel is off the main road, had to get car frequently. We did tip valet each time.” Sep 26, 2006 by
Rich from San Jose, CA
“All and all a nice stay, quiet, great room with spa, although would be nice to have separate shower.” Sep 25, 2006 by
Annie from Gilford, NH
“Very convenient to Heavenly Ski Area (across the street) and to Lake Tahoe.” Sep 20, 2006 by
Tim from Sacramento, CA
“Nice hotel, kind of' old but the room set up was different. close enough to downtown south lake Tahoe not sure why it qualifies as a 3 star hotel.” Sep 19, 2006 by
Steffanie from Elk Grove, CA
“overall the hotel was fine. It is a great location for snowboarders or anyone who likes to snow ski. It's right at the base of heavenly.” Sep 16, 2006 by
Tina from Granite Bay, CA
“By far the worst hotel we ever stayed in. rooms were dirty and smelled. furnishings were horrible. staff was unhelpful and arrogant.”
