• Clean sheets, clean carpets, clean bathroom. Great!
• No HBO. But thats no big deal really.

“Friendly staff, good restaurant at hotel with good food. Pool looked very clean and taken care of, rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. Bathroom and all the other amenities were working and great.”

• Great value, great food, friendly staff!
• Not enough time off work to enjoy a longer stay!

“My wife and I vacation at the Station House Inn, twice a year. We keep coming back year after year. The staff is friendly, helpful and the rooms are clean. The best part is the breakfast! A full breakfast awaits you each morning of your stay, not just some old Danish and a cup of coffee. Nicely located to everything that Tahoe is famous for, the Station House Inn will not disappoint you or your pocket book, I guarantee it!”

• We were really impressed with the hotel staff friendliness and loved how informative the staff was.
• Everything was simply fabulous.

“We all enjoyed our stay very much. We also loved how clean the hotel room was. The mint at our bed side was a sweet touch. The best part was how the hotel offered a complementary full breakfast of your choice; those pancakes are truly the most delicious cakes we've ever eaten. We can't wait to go back.”

• The breakfast was ultimate, the rooms were maintained properly.
• We had Mac books with us. But unfortunately the internet in the room was not for Mac, it was only for windows.

• The restaurant was outstanding, and the room was perfect.
• I liked everything about the hotel.

• There was nothing to like, they messed up our reservations.
• We had 2 adults and 4 kids in a room with a double bed. VERY SQUISHED!!!!

“NOT this time. We had SIX people squished in to a room with one bed. I arranged for TWO beds. They refused to fix it or refund our money! ”

• Neighborhood setting, half-way 'tween town & lake, breakfast OK, clean.
• Mirrored wall-room looks bigger, can't fool folks, overall small; so charge less!

“Older carpets, mattress, decor, not exactly desirable. Offered us a non-smoking Room, thanks for that. Luckily windows open. Ventilation control did not work. Convenient to casinos, priced to rent. Breakfast folks were friendly, decent food/weak coffee.”

“Located within an easy walk of Lake Tahoe and the Stateline casinos, this hotel is perfect for the family with a variety of interests. The staff was helpful, the restaurant next door (breakfast deal) was terrific.”

• Good location. Clean room. Friendly staff. Heavy breakfast.
• TV reception not very good.

“This hotel is nestled 1 block away from serene Lake Tahoe and a ten minute walk away from Heavenly Village, with shopping, restaurants and Heavenly ski gondola. We were extremely impressed with the staff members willingness to make us comfortable. The complimentary full breakfast was good, but the service there was amazing. A local Mexican franchise up the hill had excellent chicken nachos.”

• The hotel room was nice and a decent size. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had nice granite countertops.
• Free breakfast, but long line to get it.

“Great hotel in walking distance of Casinos and Heavenly Gondola. Affordable and nice location. Room was bigger than expected and clean.”

• The hotel was close to the ski gondolas. The staff was friendly. Free, good breakfast.
• Didn't know internet was free until breakfast. Restaurant substandard and pricey for dinner.

“The rooms are nice but the walls are thin. Rooms are better than what you would expect for a Best Western. The location is great, just a few short blocks to the Heavenly gondola. Free internet, but I didn't know it was free until I asked at check out. The staff was very helpful with my tire chain issue. The free breakfast was quite good choices off a menu instead of the usual Danish and cereal routine. For dinner the restaurant was pricey and the food was so-so. I would stay here again but avoid the restaurant for dinner.”

• My family and I loved that this hotel was in walking distance to everything we enjoy: The beach, the lake, many shops and restaurants and the casinos.
• I liked everything about this hotel.

“This hotel had everything a family could want. The room was nice and clean for the price we paid. The pool was stocked with toys for the kids and close to the restaurant, which offered a complimentary hot breakfast that was great. The location of this hotel was great. We were able to walk to many attractions such as, the lake, the restaurants, the beach and the casinos which are just across the state line.”

“The hotel is really nicley located, and has a cosy feeling. The rooms are old and use a makeover. This is the only hotel I have stayed at that serves a full complimentary cooked to eat breakfast off a menu.”

“My room was exceptionally clean and nicely furnished, although it was a bit on the small side. Free breakfast was included in the hotel's full service restaurant. It was excellent, and saved me and my wife at least another $25.”

“The Best Western Station House Inn was two back-road blocks from Harveys...very conveniently located and at a fraction of the price of the big casinos. I booked two nights in a row, but on two different transactions. They had me booked in one room the first night, and in a different room the second night. After a little prodding, they managed to extend the same room for the second night. Excellent cook-to-order breakfast included and very friendly restaurant staff.”

“This hotel was the best yet. I always stay with Best Western. They have the best breakfast and I would stay their again in a heart beat. The hotel was within walking distance of a lot of fun stores and casinos.”

“The hotel staff was very nice. The room was very clean. The breakfast was included and was better than most free breakfasts I've had. Unfortunately we were forced to stay in a smoking room which was absolutely horrible, but if you stay in a non-smoking room (unless you smoke) it would be an excellent hotel.”
