• Nothing.
• Everything. I will never use this hotel chain again.

“Everything was very old, the hotel staff had no class or training, and were very rude. The towels were stained, the heater was very old and did not work properly, the sheets stunk. It was a very poor hotel.”

• It was very close to dining and the beach.
• The water pressure was horrible in the shower.

“The Super 8 provided me with the essentials I was looking for, and they were able to accommodate me with every request. It's just a short distance to Lake Tahoe, and it has a nice BBQ restaurant attached to it.”

• Good location, nice pool, grounds kept well.
• Dirty! Old and tired, grimy, bad smoke smell in room.

“This hotel is big and has a good location. The upstairs rooms with balconies have a nice view and allow you to enjoy privacy and be outside. The room, however, was filthy, gouges out of walls and doorframes, dirty, crumbling shower, very dirty hair dryer, and the smoke smell in the room was overpowering. Also, the mattress did not fit the box springs and kept sliding off to one side. Sheets did not fit mattress, and kept coming off corners. Outside of hotel is evidently where all the attention is paid. It's certainly not on the inside. Just because a hotel is inexpensive doesn't mean it has to be dirty. We'll never go back and will never recommend it. We even left a day early.”

• It had easy access to the room.
• They locked us out, we had to renew our key cards.

“Its ok, but I will never stay there again. It sounded like we were going to get a good breakfast. One of the girls at front desk thought that we needed to add another day to our stay, it felt ugly. I liked the easy access to the room.”

• Room at the back side of hotel.

“Room a bit dirty with old bed frame and carpet. Staff a bit snappy! Served its purpose as a place to sleep!”

• I liked the Jacuzzi, and that there was a parking space right next to each room.
• The continental breakfast was limited - only cereal, coffee and juice.

“Overall, it was okay for someone on a budget. Location was good, nice Jacuzzi, and rooms were in fair condition. However, being on the first floor, our party heard every step taken in the room upstairs. It was especially difficult to sleep as the people upstairs woke up very early each morning.”

• The staff helped was friendly & helpful.
• The whole place needs to be renovated.

“I didn't want to take off my shoes in the room. Even though the internet was free, the wireless signal did not work in the room. We had to go to the lobby for a good connection.”

• It was available and reasonable and good heating.
• Carpets smelled, beds were very hard. Lots of road noise.

“All office and service staff people were very nice and welcoming. Room was too close to the road for snow on road. Should not be rented out or perhaps a concrete wall/barrier would help.”

• Good location. Ok breakfast. Near casino. Free wireless.
• People can see your shadow if you're in the bathroom/toilet when they pass the room.

“It's ok and of good location. There's microwave oven and mini fridge in the room. Also free wireless internet, but you have to get the password from the front desk. Coffee-maker. Heater and air-con. It's near Hurrahs and Harvey Casino. The buffet at Hurrahs is good too. Free parking at Super 8 motel and also at the casino. I will sure recommend anyone going to Lake Tahoe for holidays to stay there.”

• Upgrade for honeymooners was wonderful.
• The rooms stunk a bad smell and totally my family had 4 rooms.

“Was close to where we wanted to be, continental buffet was ok. Rooms large refrigerators in rooms nice. For the price worked out well.”

• For a Super 8 hotel, it was pretty decent.

“Super 8 hotels are not the best hotels around. But I would have to say that this one was pretty clean and well taken care of. For the price, it was okay.”

• The staff was friendly.
• The room smelled really bad, and the blankets were not clean.

“Overall if you really don't care where you rest your head then I would say stay at the Super 8. But the room was really run down and smelled of stale cigarette smoke and smelled musty.”
