• Location.

“Good value for the money, right on Lake Tahoe. Some of the rooms have excellent lake views.”

• It was clean...but needs a bit of updating.
• Didn't like the bathroom or the one sink.

• Close to lake, and shopping
• The rooms are very average

• Room was attractive and well-maintained.
• Bathroom was very small.

“The room was slightly better than I had expected from the on-line reviews. The main room was very nicely done in wood with a gas fireplace and large mirrors. There was a patio with chairs provided. The bathroom was very small and drafty.”

• I like that it is located near the lake.
• Had to pay extra for view, bad breakfast, bed uncomfortable.

“The room was nice and cozy, bed was not very comfortable. The continental breakfast was not desirable. Front desk help was not very friendly and welcoming, basically did their job and that was all. Very nice view of the lake; however you had to pay $50.00 a night extra to stay in a room that you could actually see the Lake. A bit expensive.”

• There continental breakfast was terrible.

“Right by the lake, you couldn't ask for anything better. But maybe some actual breakfast foods rather than cold cuts and American cheese. I strongly recommend some pastries and cereal and other breakfast items.”

• Shower and shower head.

“The room was OK , it was clean and fairly quiet, the elevator was slow , it had a view of the lake. The shower head was poor and made me miss mine at home. A good shower head makes a lot of difference. Parking was OK but got pretty full by the end of the night. The continental breakfast could have been better.”

• Clean room and enjoyed the fireplaces in each room.
• Staircases were on opposite ends of hotel, had to walk for to middle rooms.

“The BW Timber cove Lodge is right on Lake Tahoe Blvd and near downtown and a quick drive to all the casinos. Rooms were clean and comfortable and all rooms had fireplaces that really warmed the room. The continental breakfast was not great, mainly juice and toast but there are lots of nearby restaurants to patron. Front desk is small and can get crowded quickly but overall I would stay there again. ”

• The view was nice.
• The room was extremely small, no bathtub like pictures.

“I enjoyed the stay because the kids had fun in the snow, but I will probably find something else next time. They charged me $20 for a roll away bed but there was not enough room to open it. The pictures show a big tub and very romantic looking, but there was a stand up shower. One person at the front desk was not very nice. The restaurant had very slow service and expensive for the food quality. It is not a bad place to stay and is clean.”

• The hotel was fine.
• Some of the staff members seemed a bit inexperienced. I requested for cotton pillows and got more down pillows, which I'm allergic to.

“Overall the hotel was fine once we got an appropriate room. There were 3 of us and we got a room with one king bed, which would not have worked. We eventually got another standard room with two double beds but it took some work.”

“The rooms were great! We had a beautiful view of the beach and lake, and really couldn't have asked for more. The only problem we had was with our fireplace, we couldn't get it started... But the staff took care of us right away by upgrading our room at no additional cost. Freindly staff, clean rooms, and easy access... who could ask for more!”

• The Hotel keeps the snow plowed from the entrance and parking lot; fireplaces create a pleasant atmosphere.
• Breakfast included with room is not appetizing. Had to purchase breakfast.

“The Lodge is convenient to casinos (about 2 miles). Nice Lake views from some rooms. Generally clean and comfortable. Would revisit. Reservation was for 2 people.”
