• Friendly staff.
• A little dated, but not that bad.

“Better than a Motel 6. Pool/spa seemed nice, but we did not use them. slightly dated furnishings - but rooms were clean. They do allow pets. Continental breakfast was bagels/toast, cereal, pastries, juice, coffee, fruit.”

• Huge post in the middle of the room. No service untile asked for

• The staff was just amazing!
• The decor was dated and I hurt my foot on a nail in the carpet.

“The hotel was not as pretty as I expected it to be from the photos. The staff however, made our stay just incredible. The evening front desk employee was friendly, helpful and very funny. I would recommend this hotel on that employee alone! It was farther than I expected it to be from downtown but the trolly and local taxis made travel worth.”

• It was clean. It had a microwave and fridge.
• There was nothing that I didn't like.

“This hotel is perfect for the price. It is clean it has all of the basic amenities anyone would need and it is conveniently located close to downtown San Luis Obispo.”

• The room was clean, the people were friendly and the location was easy to find.
• The room had no place to hang any clothes.

“This hotel was almost perfect for what we needed. The price was great. Especially for a holiday weekend. I definitely plan to stay there again.”

• Great location, clean rooms and nice window view.
• Asked a king size bed, but had a queen size. Also room did not have a microwave or fridge.

“Good stay. Located close to Cal Poly and downtown restaurants and shopping. Easy freeway access also. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and quiet at night.”

• The room the front desk personnel.

“I overheard a guest say that he would be there for 6 days he had his family with him. I don't know how they could enjoy themselves in the motel if they were assigned the poor quality room that we had. I had my 81year old mother with me and we had walking difficulties. We were on the 3rd floor a good distance from the elevator. We requested queen dbls and refrigerator and front desk clerk said some rooms had them. I asked were booked full for the next 2 days. She said no this was available. However we checked out after the 1st night to a nearby hotel. The difference was worth the extra 40.00 dollars.”

• The room was clean and bed was comfortable.
• The room was extremely small and there was not enough parking.

“Pleasantly decorated small room with appropriate amenities overlooking pool and Jacuzzi. Sparce continental breakfast available.”

• It was an economy hotel but the grounds were so nice and the continental breakfast was really good.
• Nothing.

“There was a fridge/freezer and a microwave which I wasn't expecting and that made making my baby's bottles so much easier.”

• The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. Very friendly and responsive.
• Outdated bath, TV fuzzy.

“Adequate for a short stay. The best aspect of this hotel was the friendly and helpful staff. They know their town and gave us a lot of helpful information.”

• Hotel was fine.

“The hotel was fine. The weather forecast turned to rain so the general contractor pulled us off the job until the following week. I lost the company money on 3 nights hotel.”

• Didn't like much.
• Rooms were stale, needed updating, continental breakfast was substandard, and workout room was not well equipped.

“This hotel was the one disappointment on our trip. It reminded me of a motel 6. Breakfast was not very good, rooms were stale. Try another hotel in San Luis Obispo.”

• Cheap and comfortable and enjoyed the free breakfast.
• The air conditioner had a little trouble blowing cold.

“A good motel for the price. Close to downtown and other tourist areas, room was large. Our room was too close to the freeway so we had traffic noise.”

• Complimentary breakfast; located close to freeway; good swimming pool & towels at main lobby; walking distance from downtown.
• Air conditioning loud & cold, no auto turns off.

“Stayed in mid-June--great weather! Hotel felt safe and clean. Enjoyed the pool. Rooms are small, bathrooms old but usable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice to have complimentary breakfast and free parking. Good location for walking to shops and Thursday night market.”

“This is a great location, just a few blocks from downtown. It feels safe and clean. I think I could have stayed in a more charming hotel for just $10-15 more.”
