• Good location and the room was clean. It is very basic, but a good deal for the price. I will stay there again.
• The swimming pool was super small - I wondered why they even have one.

• Convenient location to downtown, plenty of parking
• Rooms are dark.

• Front desk was very helpful when we asked to change rooms.
• The first room we stayed in was not clean and smelled bad.

“This is a budget hotel. I guess that's just normal for San Luis Obispo in the summer. Next time I'd probably spend a little bit more to upgrade to someplace nicer.”

• Was on 3rd floor, many empties on 1st.

“Good for a short stay, nothing glamorous, but a clean hotel. Don't be surprised if they put you on the 3rd floor-no elevator.”

• They didn't give us any crap for having extra people.
• The beds are small.

“This is certainly an adequate hotel but if you want to stay someplace cheaper try motel 6. They have a place right off the highway for around 50 bucks.”

• The Service was excellent; the staff could not have been anymore helpful.
• At night it was a little sketchy.

“I was really surprised about what I encountered with this hotel. When I checked in I was a little bit early and they were kind enough to let me check in early. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they were willing to answer all my questions. The room was a lot better than I expected it to be for the price. It is just a few blocks from downtown and extremely close to Cal Poly. I would recommend this place to anyone on a budget traveling to SLO!”

• There was a postage stamp of a pool.

“Hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful to us especially when the patrons were being very noisy. They came out to tell them to be quiet because there were other guests trying to sleep.”

• The hotel was clean, had a fridge and microwave and close to the city.
• Loud wedding party, and a small parking lot.

“I thought the hotel was conveniently located, it was clean, had a fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. Good value for the money.”

• It was in a good location.
• Our room didn't have a shower that worked. We had to move to another room. They knew the shower didn't work. The remote didn't work either.

“It was clean parking wasn't good. They pool wasn't heated. The young staff was very friendly, the other people didn't speak English very well.”

• Convenient location.
• Spare refrigerator still in a giant box in the room. Only decaf coffee in room.

“Easy check in, friendly staff, convenient location. Room was clean and simple. Carpet and furnishings were old and stained but appeared clean. It was decent for the price.”

• Run down from the outside.

• Had hair dryer, ironing board, large bathroom.
• Parking and room layout was narrow, rooms need remodel.

“This hotel was adequate, clean, but worn. The room layout and parking was cramped. The hotel office was small and the continental breakfast area was cramped. In the room, there was recent model television, but only a limited cable channel lineup. The shower and plumbing was fine and the bed was comfortable.”

• Very friendly and efficient staff. Rooms clean and nicely appointed with fridge, microwave, hair dryer & iron. Lobby nice.
• Looks like a drab motel squished between other hotels/motels. Itty Bitty pool in middle of parking lot., might be ok for young kids.

“This is a standard motel but all the services and rooms are excellent. The included continental breakfast is simple but good. It's a great choice for the budget minded. Once in your room it feels like a nice hotel room.”

• The worst ever.
• Horrible place, rude people and unaccommodating.

“We drove from San Francisco to Slo and wanted to check in at the hotel at approx. 2:20 pm as we were scheduled to do a show in Moro Bay at 2:30 pm When we checked in, we were told that there was not one clean room for us to change our clothing and go on to the event. The man was uncompromising and unwilling to assist us. Plus, the room was tacky.”

• I was lied to, the man on the phone told me all super 8 had Jacuzzi tubs, that¿s why I chose this one.

“The hotel itself was ok, the male staff could be a little friendlier.”

• Good quality towels, thick not thin.
• Room accessibility, Narrow walkways and Narrow stair access, no elevator.

“The area was nice and quiet. Close to restaurants. The staff was friendly. If you have problems with stairs make sure you get a first floor room. The stairways are Narrowing and steep. There is no elevator. The rooms need some up-dating, new carpet, furniture etc. The bed was comfortable and I was impressed that they had provided better quality towels than usual. We were comfortable in our room for the time we spent.”

• The location was excellent in being a base to visit all the surrounding attractions.
• No refrigerators or microwave in the room.

• Staff was helpful friendly. Coffee was good. Location and restaurants were perfect.
• The motel sits on a hill so there are steps and stairs on all levels.

“It was a really nice stay. Pricing was about average for the area so it was ok. I really liked the way the staff treated you. So I myself would probably stay here on my next visit.”

• The other hotels were a little bit out of our price range at the time this worked perfect.
• Can't think of anything.

• For the price we paid, the room was more spacious than we expected.
• No in room coffee maker, no hair dryer, no extra hooks for hanging towels, etc.

“For the price you pay, the room was satisfactory. We would like to see some other amenities in the room, such as coffee maker, hair dryer, extra hooks or towel bars, etc. The bed was comfortable and clean, the room was spacious, and the linens were of nice quality. Other than the items mentioned above, I would recommend this to travelers looking for inexpensive accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful.”
