• Very nice kitchen - refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave.
• Wish they had an indoor pool!

• Room size. Staff was helpful and friendly.
• Got the impression that it is used for some type of subsidized temporary housing.

“Well worth the price. Room was basic, clean, location was great. Although we had a non smoking room, we could still smell cigarettes. Would be a great place to stay for an extended period of time. Since we were only there three nights, we did not make use of the kitchen, but would have, if we had stayed longer.”

• Extended stay is not really a hotel. No restaurant or amenities that hotels have.

• Great value. Room had kitchen, work desk. Very roomy and clean.
• Many floors had smokers and the cigarette smell was in most of the hallways.

“The hotel is very well kept. The rooms are very spacious. A kitchen and refrigerator is supplied which is only found in very expensive hotels. A work desk was provided in addition to the television. Showers had lots of hot water, which is fairly rare now-a-days. A great place to stay and great value.”

• It was clean.
• Only one bar of soap & one pre-package coffee, enough for one person.

“It does not have any extra's like other hotels. Only one mini bar of soap, one 2 cup pre-package coffee filter that you use for the mini coffee pot in room, enough for one person. No shampoo or any extras. We shared the one mini bar of soap at both kitchen & bath sinks. We did not bring soap to hotel so we made do with the one we had. If you stay more then one night, they don't clean room or change sheets but once a week we were told.”

• Dogs were allowed.
• Misleading, there were no double beds upon check in.

“This is a no frills hotel, it like a studio room. Dogs were allowed was the reason for my stay but I would not stay at extended stay America again. It had those hard comforters, I prefer a higher star hotel stay.”

• Excellent value. Great amenities such as a kitchen area, refrigerator. Very spacious.
• Nothing except that we did not find out about the Extended Stay America hotel chain sooner.

“The Extended Stay America hotel we stayed at far surpassed our expectations for the price. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very spacious and with the addition of a fully working kitchen area and refrigerator, our ESA stay proved to be a an excellent one.”

• Good facilities for the buck.
• Carpet stains and bad odor.

“Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel has good drive up appeal and public areas. Many stains in carpet in hallways, along with a bad odor (cigarettes?) Room was average, but the mini kitchen was handy. All in all, it was a good bang for the buck and I would stay there again.”

• The front desk clerk was extremely helpful.
• No swimming pool.

“We were only staying one night and it met all my needs except a swimming pool. But there were water slides just 1 mile down the road and that was just fine with my older kids. Rooms were clean, in hall doors made it feel secure and safe and it was very quiet.”

• The location to train station and how close it is to relatives.
• Can't think of anything we didn't like we have stayed at other extended stay hotels an lie them all.

“The staff were very knowledgeable about the area and they were friendly. The hotel was easily excisable from the Amtrak station as well as the interstate. We had a great stay in Roseville.”

“I contacted hotel in order to confirm that we would be able to have two beds in each room. I received a verbal from the woman in the front desk that everything was arranged, and confirmed that I would have two beds in both rooms I paid for. We arrive to discover that we're only booked for one bed in each room, and they wanted to charge us more money to "upgrade" to a king size bed (turned out rooms with two beds were now booked). I was then told that their representative who I spoke with weeks ago & had verbally confirmed that we would have two beds in each room, "made a mistake". I ended up sleeping on the floor.”

• Rude staff and stark hotel room.

“The hotel smelled of stale smoke, and the check in staff was not very welcoming. The next day, we received a call from the front desk at 10:45 am asking if we were going to be staying another day, because we had to be out of the room by 11:00 am. This was not posted on the door nor did the check in staff told us the night before. We were very upset by this, and the clerk was very rude. Will never stay at another Extended Stay again.”

• Not overcrowded, easy to come and go without problems.
• The room was somewhat drab, not warm and sunny. This was due to design and decor.

“This hotel is a good fit for the traveler who is looking for a short-term or long-term stay--and need something they can rely on. It's conveniently located and comfortable but does have a lot of frills. Don't expect elegance, but you can expect good service and a clean, comfortable room. You won't have to worry about the crowds.”

• The beds are so hard you might as well sleep on the floor. Low volume on the TV.

“Property is clean, staff was friendly. Beds are much too hard and the volume restriction on the TV makes it impossible to hear if you are using the air conditioner at the same time.”

“Unfriendly staff, my wife, daughter and myself had to sleep in a full size bed. The staff would not let us have a room with 2 beds. We had a horrible experience. The entire night we were in misery with sore backs in the morning. Three people can not fit comfortably in a full size bed.”

• Housekeeping services were available for an extra charge.

“The room was much larger than your average hotel room. I called in advance and arranged to have an accessible room with two beds for an extra $10 a night charge. No problem and hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I stayed an extra night at the same rate. Be aware that daily housekeeping services are extra ($5 for light and $10 for full with clean bed linens.) There is a Claim Jumper Restaurant next door and shopping is nearby.”

“The location was great & if you don't mind a cigarette smelly room, no even the halls smelled & bedding complete with its own cigarette burns, then this is for you! When I arrived they first gave me a key to an already occupied room, boy were they surprised when I open the door. Next the remote fell apart, I went to the office to replace it & they quickly brought out the handy roll of tape to hold it together for me. And don't count on any shampoo etc, it isn't there. Just poor all around. Looks can be deceiving; I will never recommend them or stay at another ESA again!”

“The carpet in the room was so dirty it made my socks black just walking around on it. Why don't you put in a roll of paper towels? It's hard to eat without something to clean up with! The silverware was very skimpy since there's no dish soap you don't want to keep using the same dirty silverware. I would never return here.”

• Provided last minute accommodations for a good price.
• Was not as clean as I expected.

“Nothing special about this place, except that it does have an almost full kitchen (minus oven). I only stayed overnight and it was good for the price. I was surprised though to see that if you stay more than one night, you only get maid services once every 7 days, unless you pay extra.”

• Lack of extras in kitchen and bathroom i.e. soap, paper towels, utensils.

“The small kitchen was only partially equipped, with only one knife and fork (the room had two double beds), no dishwashing soap, paper towels, Napkins. There were enough plates and pots and pans. The bed linens were clean but very old and thin. The bath towels were adequate. Our room was on the freeway side of the bldg but the noise was not overly noticeable.”

“The only problem was the very strong smell of incense in the bathroom when we checked in. We commented on it but no one seemed very concerned about it. We would not have stayed another night with the strong odor. No restaurant and no swimming pool.”
