• Convenient location. Nicely appointed dining area. Good exercise room, pool and spa. Modest management rooms.
• Staff is marginal. Housekeeping not good - dirty carpets in 2 different stays.

“Tried to check in 8:00 pm on Monday night. No one at front desk. Had to wait 15-20 minutes. Tried calling the front desk, no answer after letting phone ring 5 minutes! On 2 different stays the room carpeting was very dirty-hair, bobbi pins, bits of trash, etc. Left notes for the Manager, but got no response, plus carpet did not get vacuumed for 2 more days! If it were not for the price I would not stay there! Breakfast not competitive-other local chain hotels do a much better job. They serve coffee, juice, cold foods and hot waffles-no meats. Just 100 yards away is Residence Inn who offers superior breakfast plus evening snack.”

• Good location, safe parking.
• Just next to the freeway, i.e. very noisy.

• Checking out and moving to the Hampton Inn.
• Freeway noise and lack of a feeling of security.

• Front desk was very accommodating and helpful.
• Older interior, very basic.

“I was impressed by the front desk staff and continental breakfast, good selection. Not impressed with housekeeping, iron, ironing board not put away, no new soap or shampoo left the next day. Is in a louder location right next to freeway but noise level in the room was ok.”

• Nice Location, clean and a great value, great staff.
• Sometimes the maid cleans up and throws out things that we wish to keep, otherwise fine.

• Not fancy, but large, clean, comfortable rooms.
• Bad design for bathroom door and danger for kids to close.

“The staff overall was friendly and helpful for our late arrival. The rooms were quite plain, but clean and large, more than adequate for our overnight use. Our daughter got stuck in the bathroom and could not get the door open. It took some time to get her out. The sliding door was heavy and did not slide well. Pulling hard could easily slam it on fingers. Otherwise, our stay was positive.”

• Easy Access to Interstate
• Some Room are too noisy because of Freeway

“Travel Services are Close. Breakfast is GREAT. Hotel staff is accommodating. Rooms are large. NO FOX NEWS NETWORK was a real negative.... Free paper in the morning.... Parking accommodation for the handicap are not close to Room doors.”

• Extremely clean, comfy bed
• Sugary breakfast & space too small to accomadate guests

“Overall, the Fairfield Inn is everything you can expect at a Mariott, but no more. It is clean, the staff is professional (though a little stoic in my taste), and the breakfast, though plentiful and tasty, was sugary and not at all good for you. In contrast to another hotel I stayed in at San Bruno, for the same price, no microwave or mini-fridge was provided here. But overall, you get a good night's sleep on a comfortable bed in a clean room.”

• Friendly and cooperative staff
• Although asked in advance for a refrigirator for my week long stay, I had to remind the staff upon my arrival.

“Located in walking distance from many corporate offices, off route 50. Close to Mather Field if anyone needs a charter flight or a flight school. Breakfast is typical to US hotels - terribly unhealthy; too many sugar loaded dough based products, but no cucumber or tomato or low fat cheese to be seen. Breakfast is not friendly to Gluten sensitive folks, and a disaster for diabetics.”

• Nice big clean & odor-free room, great beds, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff. Would Recommend!
• Better supervision of rooms being cleaned when guests not yet checked out. We had a suitcase & cosmetic bag stolen.

“My wife and I were extremely pleased with our 4-night stay at the Fairfield Inn in Rancho Cordova, California. The staff were very friendly, the room was large and clean with very comfortable beds, and the breakfast served was outstanding.”

• nice staff
• my card key never worked to unlock my room my entire stay

“my room was the furthest from the elevator and everytime I got to my room my card key would not work, I had to go down stairs and get my key reprogramed. this happened to all 3 of my rooms the entire stay.”

• Some freeway noise in rooms facing freeway.

“Nice freeway close hotel with free continental breakfast. Rooms include coffee pot with coffee, iron & board, hair dryer, high speed internet. Room was clean and comfortable.”

• Convenient location off HWY 50--20 mins. to downtown SAC
• Lack of preparedness of staff re my room's condition

“Although I appreciate the location of this hotel, it leaves a great deal to be desired when it comes to last minute bookings beyond my control! I had to go to SAC at the last minute, and feel that I got a raw deal!! Plus, the room we were given was undergoing maintenance, and the desk clerk didn't know the phone wasn't hooked up until I called on my cell phone!!”
