• It was nice to have a kitchen.
• Common areas were not well kept.

“It was adequate, however, the common areas were not kept well, trash was sitting out by the exterior stairs for 4 days. Did not know that there was not going to be housekeeping services. Room was very dated.”

• We needed dish soap. That is just a small thing. We were to take care of that you.

“I got into the room and it had a really bad smell. The carpet is stained badly. The bedspread had holes in it. The light in the bathroom did not work and the staff was rude and didn't want to change rooms for me.”

• Truck was broken into, has also happened in the past, no security and no help from staff.
• Lack of help from hotel staff to follow up on the matter of truck incident.

“If your have valuables on or in your vehicle, watch out if you leave it in the parking lot. No security cameras, no security guard and no recourse.”

• The rooms were spacious.
• I had a 7 month old, and they did not offer cribs.

“Me and my husband stayed here while traveling from Redlands CA to Bend OR. We had my 7 month old daughter and 3 year old son with us. The room was great because we could have room on the floor for our son and room to put a crib for our daughter. Every hotel we have ever stayed at with our kids had port a cribs, and when I called to see if I could get one, they did not offer any. We only had one queen bed, so there was not room in bed for me my husband and daughter. We had to flip over a table and line it with towels and blankets to make it work for her. It was a pain, but she slept great. I would hope they would invest in some cribs for families staying over.”

• Noisy hotel guests & unprofessional desk clerk.

“As I walked to the office to check In, I passed three hotel guests; one was complaining to the other two (beers In hand) that they were making too much noise. I thought, Oh great what kind of place Is this? When I checked In I was taken back by the poorly dressed and overall unprofessional nature of the desk clerk. My room was In fair condition but there was no way I was going to get any sleep with the full sized refrigerator fan making a rattling noise. Thankfully I was able to silence It simply by turning the temperature knob all the way to off. With blinds drawn, I ended up getting quiet restful nights sleep. So the hotel started out a little rocky but came through when It really counted.”

“This hotel is a nice place but the drinking glasses and the bed spread were visibly dirty. There wasn't any dish soap for the dishes or a dish washer. Bed was super hard and pillows were old.”

• I liked the courtesy and friendliness of the staff, plus being near major stores and restaurants.
• Only one very minor complaint: the pillows were too hard.

“Friendly, courteous staff with easy access to the highway, shopping centers, and both fast food and sit-down restaurants. The parking area was extremely well lit at night. The room was clean and comfortable.”

“I stayed here during a training project with my company from December 9th until about December 20th. Let me say that even that was too long of a stay. This place is disgusting and that's being forgiving. During my stay there, we all became sick. Likely due to the dirty conditions and unchanged air filters. We were hassle by bums for change on our balconies. The desk clerk was really nice and we didn't complain to the management, as there never seemed to be any around. This place was horrifying, depressing and I felt like I was living in a homeless shelter. This seemed like the type of place where broken families go to drown their sorrows in cheap booze and we actually did see a couple of this sort, fighting in the parking lot on a daily basis.”

• The space around the tub area wasn't very clean, there was hair from other guest in the shower, as well as the bed area!

• Too much air draft in rooms. Heat either too hot or cold.

“The staff was very helpful and nice. They were very helpful allowing me to switch from room to room. Each room had too much draft coming into the room from underneath the door. It was difficult to obtain the best temperature control setting in each room. Other than that I guess it was ok.”

• There were bugs in the curtains in our room.

“I needed a place to stay for 15 days. This hotel was very affordable. It was much better than the Econolodge that I stayed in before. Internet connection was cheap and good. TV channel selection was ok. My only wish was for a gym.”

• Bed was too hard. Could have slept on the floor.

“Convenient access from noisy freeway but did not hear freeway noise. They do not clean or do the linen for this extended stay hotel but for the price I paid, I don't mind. I enjoyed having the kitchenette since I was not on expense account and had to pay for my own meals; I saved money by heating up meals in the microwave and having breakfast in my room. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.”

• I enjoyed the large room and that it had a kitchen area.
• No ice machines.

“For the most part this is a very nice hotel. The beds are not that comfortable however this is a hotel that I would want to stay at time and time again. You are not bothered by others and you feel safe throughout your stay. The major downfall is that there are not any ice machines at all in the hotel.”

• Poor sound insulation (noisy), lacking in amenities and uncomfortable.

“My first room smelled bad (cat urine?) And right next to the freeway. Staff was accommodating and let me move to a different room which seemed much better until the room next door had the TV on all night long. Beds are way too firm (like sleeping on a desk) and pillows were about two inches thick and front desk could not offer any more. Will try to avoid on my next trip up there.”

“Since we had stayed at an ESA before, and enjoyed it, I was looking forward to it. But I was truly disappointed. First, they place a single, middle aged woman, by herself, in the back of the hotel, on the first floor. They do not do wake-up calls, the do not provide blow dryers, the coffee pot had to cleaned out, then the coffee went all over but not in the pot. Needless to say, I was disappointed.”

“This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we were quite pleased both times. It has amenities in the room such as a coffee pot that we did not get in a hotel we stayed at in Reno. There was a computer glitch that slowed check-in but the staff was quite diligent in getting up and running ASAP.”
