• Location, like a private studio apartment with kitchen, quiet, nice entrance, with free wireless internet in the room.
• Nothing.

• If I get the job I interviewed for, this would be a good place to stay. Close to just about everything!
• The 'Meal/Nosh' for the night of the football game left much to be desired!

“A great place to stay on a T.A.D. assignment. This could be a great place to stay while saving up money for an apartment! Close to everything I could possibly need. For example, access to downtown, shopping Mall, many choices of dining facilities!”

• Free breakfast, dinner, free internet and fireplace.
• Bedding had cigarette holes, burns and lightweight.

“Large room, in-room fireplace, full kitchen, pool and spa, exercise room, large full breakfast buffet, evening "snack" can be a dinner (lasagna, stew etc). Conveniently located near tons of shopping area, museums, restaurants and the Cal Expo center. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The management really seems to know what it is doing here and does everything it can to attract repeat business.”

“I just stayed at this hotel on 11/17/05 to 11/20/05 and loved it. It was a great value, clean, good staff and great location. Next trip to Sacramento will be spent at this hotel.”

• It was quiet and close to Cal Expo, it had plenty of restaurants and stores within minutes.
• Dinner was only Monday or Thursday.

“This Hotel is very convenient to access all area of Sacramento. It is close to several freeways and quiet. The room was big, I liked the kitchen but did not use it to cook as they had a pretty good breakfast and dinner.”

• I liked the kitchen with microwave, lighting, shower water pressure and cleanliness.
• This room was much smaller than the Reno Residence Inn.

“Overall my stay sufficed my needs. Location was not as convenient as first thought, access to freeway. Staff was very helpful and I always enjoy their breakfast.”

• All of the staff that we spoke to spoke English, even the housekeeping staff.
• The location was a little awkward, and slightly hidden.

“The room was smaller than expected, but still very nice, with a sofa, bed, office, kitchen space. The breakfast that came with was great also.”

• The extensive continental breakfast.
• Front desk help could have been more welcoming and/or bright.

“It was an phenomenal value for the price we paid. Excellent extended continental breakfast (scrambled eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, biscuit, sausage, etc.-- my husband really appreciated). Daily local paper as well as Wall Street Journal provided. Front desk staff was not rude, but certainly not terribly friendly and/or intelligent. Kitchen, housekeeping and maintenance staff were just lovely.”

• We asked for a non-smoking room and our room smelled strongly of smoke

“Fantastic value for the price. Was convenient to our destination. Great room, except for the smoke smell. Terrific breakfast and friendly staff. The pool wasn't very clean. I would definitely stay there again.”

• Poor parking, breakfast was a zoo

“The set up was nice, and convenient. Later in the evening we ran into parking problems and it was a bad weekend to choose, since it was loaded with kids. It's too bad parents can't control their kids actions and want others to deal with it.”

• Only one (queen) bed, very hard mattress.

“Good location, buffet breakfast and accommodating staff. We received an egg crate for the hard mattress for our 2nd night. Nice kitchen with full size appliances, dishes, dishwasher etc. Upon our request we received a first floor, quiet room away from the street.”

• Each building of suites was surrounded by plants and flowers. It was very cool and quiet
• They offer a free hot breakfast. Too many people in too small of a space. It could have been just this particular weekend

“This hotel is located about 5 minutes off of 80 -very close to CalExpo, mall, and many many restaurants. We found the room to be very spacious and quiet. The a/c had a regular thermostat and was quiet too. The kitchen was well equipped and the working fireplace was a nice touch. The bathroom was utilitarian and not much more.”

• The feather pillows were great and we enjoyed the hot breakfast,
• They promised us a queen bed and then we had to negotiate to not be stuck in 2 doubles.

“Everything about the Residence Inn was great, except that when I called to confirm a Queen bed (not 2 doubles) I was told I had a "standard queen" and that it didn't matter what time I arrived. When we arrived at midnight, we were given 2 doubles. Although the clerk did not immediately offer up a solution, after discussing more, he was able to appropriately offer an upgrade, since I had been verbally made a promise. The exceptional service by the clerk secured that our experience overall was great.”

“I thought the value and location was great. Bed could have been a little larger, but lovely room with fireplace and suite. Real breakfast eggs and all. Evening cocktail food was hamburgers. Free.Good deal -nice place. Not super romantic or anything but ideal for family and business travel.”

• Geat location!! Near to the Ardent Fair Mall; Lots of dining establishement in walking distance!
• Climate control could have been more responsive--also had trouble with windows not opening!!

“Great Location!! The sort of place that makes doing a TAD assignment tolerable!! Just about everything nearby--(ie Pizza parlor; Mall for shopping; Goodwill store in neighborhood)!! With its closeness to the Unv. in town, one can get the best of both worlds!!”

• It seemed a little too 'COOKIE CUTTER' for my tastes!!

“Overall, a good time had on this road trip!! The Hotel was located in an area with many amenities only a short distance away!! Very handy for my MOM and her artificial hip!! A good place to stay while on a T.A.D. assignment!!”

• I like everything. It was wonderful! Clean, comfortable, quiet and affordable. I highly recommend it!

“I was welcomed warmly on a Friday night. My room was easily found. Carpets are clean and the room smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable, TV had all the bells and whistles. The Inn is located near (within walking distance) a Walgreen's, restaurants of all kinds, 24 hr fitness, the Arden Fair Mall, and even within walking distance of Goodwill for the serious bargain hunters. My suite was fully furnished with a desk, refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Plus, pots, pans, dishes. Oh, and the bathroom has a very nice large bathtub! I plan to stay there again soon.”

• The staff were friendly especially the food service
• Soap and shampoo were not provided everyday

“I liked the location and the landscape. Restaurants nearby makes it easier to go to. Shrubs and flowers show the beauty and care by the gardeners as assets to Residence Inn. I look forward again staying at Residence Inn.”

“The Residence Inn in Sacramento California is close to Sacramento State College. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. I stay in many hotels throughout the year and the Residence Inn was a great stay.”
