• clean , nice location, pleasant staff
• they charge for internet -- who does that anymore???

“Nice hotel, quiet, good location, pleasant staff. Unfortunately for guests and staff alike, they hit you with a stiff internet useage charge, which is of course not apparent when you book.”

• Convenient location to the venue I was working at.
• Parking faux pax on the part of the hotel.

“Overall, it was fine. Took awhile waiting for elevators on departure. So many people leaving at 7 am caused the slowness of elevators. That was annoying because I was 7 flights up. Also, the hotel was hosting prom one night while we were there. When we returned from our evening, there were no parking spots. They had let all the prom students use the parking, when next door was a parking structure being unused because it was office parking and a weekend. Since the staff had no problem having me park there, I don't know why they didn't have all the prom students park there so the paying guests could park near the hotel and not have to walk. That was unacceptable to me.”

• The bed was one of thee most comfortable I've every slept in. And very quiet was able to sleep in comfort.

• Comfortable, quiet and friendly.

“Good, clean, quiet and accessible to the freeway. There is a shopping mall nearby and the hotel has a free shuttle. I would recommend this hotel for business or leisure travel.”

• My glass of white wine at the bar was $12!

“Very nice hotel located next to the Arden Fair mall. The rooms are quiet (except ones by the elevator) and they have very comfortable beds. The outdoor pool is very nice and open later than other hotels' pools (11 p.m.), which our daughter loved. Downside is if you get a room on the concierge floor hoping to take advantage of late afternoon snacks or other amenities provided in a hospitality suite, these are not available on Friday or Saturday nights! They give you a 'free' breakfast buffet coupon instead.”

• Very clean, quiet, bright room. Very comfortable bed.
• The $9.95 charge per day for a wireless internet connection really put me off.

• No emergency plans.

“At mid night the light went out as I got back to the room. The power was out. My husband was down stairs and there were no back up lights for the emergency. No floor markings for emergency exits. No stair way lights. The staff didnt know what to do. If that had been a real emergency We would have been in trouble.”

“The Hilton met our expectations. We did not use the dining room, but it appeared quite nice. I was surprised that some sort of breakfast did not come with the room; in fact, the prices for breakfast were high.”

• Comfortable, very clean, spacious, easy access to freeways, courteous staff, close to shopping mall.
• Prefer glassware in bathroom to be disposable for hygiene purposes.

“Arden Hilton is dedicated to providing excellent service to guests from friendly - efficient check-in to immaculate guest rooms - to easy check-out. Bed linens were crisp and clean. The beds were decorated with an array of inviting pillows. They offer in-room movies and games along with TV. They have a coffee bar in the lobby along with comfortable furniture in color schemes that are inviting and relaxing. The employees in the bar were friendly and knowledgeable about different drinks. They have a business center and pool, though we did not use them. They have ready made maps to assist guests in getting to local attractions. We found this very helpful and made it easy to get back to the hotel at night.”

• #1. Coffee in the room. We also stayed on the top floor and it had a balcony.
• People talking next door woke up my daughter in the middle of the night and she had dance competition the next morning.

• Close to restaurants and other attractions.
• The noisy elevator we heard all night.

“It was hard to sleep with the noisy elevator next to our room. I expected better quality since it was a Hilton. Marriot residence in was a lot nicer than the room we had. Our bathroom door was stuck most of the time. I would rather not stay at this hotel again.”

• It was nice, quiet, and very comfortable beds. In fact, the best beds I have slept in at a hotel.
• Really nothing to note.

“This place runs a ship/shape operation. The staff was very attentive to our needs when asked and due to location, it was perfect for business travelers. Kudos to this hotel for its fine service. I would recommend it to anybody visiting in the area.”

“Every thing exceeded my expectations, except that I was asked to pay $10 to use the internet. This is the first time that I ever had to pay to use the internet at a hotel. I drove down the street to the doubletree parking lot and used their internet for free.”

• Pillows to soft.

“It is a very nice hotel, easy to locate from the freeway. Your in the vicinity of restaurants, and shopping. Two things that I found to be problems were the pillows were way to soft for me. My wife enjoyed them though. The other problem is the door separating the rooms allow way to much noise from the room connected to the one you occupy. We had to keep the TV on so we could drown out the noise.”

• Very clean, nicely appointed rooms and lobby.
• Everything costs extra. No gratis continental breakfast and it costs extra to use the internet connection.

• the hotel was beautiful and clean the night manager was extremely helpful!
• There was a waitress in the dining room who ruined our meal with snapping at us and being rude. She was a middle aged dark haired woman and was bossy

“The hotel was excellent on the whole. It was clean and I felt safe with the location. They had night patrol searching the parking lot. I know that as I could not sleep and was looking out the widow in the early hours of morning.”

• Operator was a little short when I called to ask about check out times the night of check-in.

• The bath tub faucet leaked and the beds are too small, should be queen size beds

“Overall, the hotel is convenient to the freeways and the mall. The beds are too small for two adults and was not comfortable. The restroom could be a little bigger, but the rest of the room was ok.”

• You can see it from the main highway but it is difficult to get there. Lots of side streets required to get to hotel.

• The location was very convient for what I had to do while I was in Sacramento.
• Every night I was there, the parking lot was full.

• got a room next to elevator -- very loud, needed earplugs to sleep

“You can hear the elevator going up and down and the ding of the elevator stopping on your floor. It's quite loud. The front desk was nice enough to send up earplugs though.”

“Located near the Arden Mall and convenient access to downtown as well as other areas of the city the Hotel was quiet and clean with a wealth of services located within the facility. It is obvious that here were attempts made to provide something extra to the client.”
