Sara from Berkeley, CA
“The room was fine. It was very nice to have HBO and free wireless. I was a little grossed out by the shower, it was pretty dirty, and the lobby and elevator was very run down and dingy.” Aug 20, 2007 by
Joseph from Merced, CA
“This hotel is in dire need of a renovation. The carpets are dirty, the stairways are dirty, and the common areas are dusty and dirty.” Jun 21, 2007 by
Jeffery from Covina, CA
“The place was ok. I left place with don't disturb sign hanging (they weren't to suppose to enter my room) maid still went in room and took towels and didn't replace. The door between rooms has 2 dead bolts that need a key from each side to open. I locked my side before I left room, when I returned it had been unlocked from other side with a key that only staff has. There was no window in bathroom. The law says if no window, you have to have an exhaust fan. The fan didn't work at all. When I put a don't disturb sign I don't expect anyone to enter my room and they did.” May 16, 2007 by
John from Crescent City, CA
“This hotel is very close to the capital, but unfriendly in service. There is no parking at all in the day time. If you leave in your car and come back in an hour or two, no parking at all during the business week Monday - Friday.” Apr 30, 2007 by
Martin from Portland, OR
“The shower was a little scummy and the carpet in the room felt like gastro-turf. It seemed like it hadn't been updated in a couple of decades. The "continental breakfast" was a joke- packaged pastries, coffee and orange juice. The only thing worse than the actual food was the room they served the breakfast in- a dismal space made up of two typical rooms, where the curtains were closed, the curtain rods were barely hanging on the wall and it felt like breakfast was some sort of clandestine affair. The fluorescent lighting was a nice touch- really made it feel like you were sitting in an office cubicle eating the pastries you had just bought at 7-11.” Mar 13, 2007 by
Vidal from Azusa, CA
“The hotel room was very duty, smelling bad, I couldn't sleep because the bed and the bad smelling made me uncomfortable, also I was waiting more that thirty minutes to get my room even thought the check in is 3:00 p.m. I was waiting because the rooms were duties.” Jan 28, 2007 by
William from Red Bluff, CA
“This establishment was a terrible experience and a very bad reflection on Travelodge. The hotel, all areas (parking lot, lobby, hallways, elevator, courtyard, stairs, and rooms) were disgusting.” Nov 1, 2006 by
James from Ca, CA
“Ghetto hotel, dirty furniture, disgusting bathroom.” Oct 4, 2006 by
Steve from San Francisco, CA
“Seedy hotel disguised as a "brand" property. Rooms smelled, were falling apart. Cigarette burns on furniture, windows and locks coming off the wall. This is the worst name hotel experience ever. You have basic expectations when you stay at a name brand property. The nice pictures fooled you. Believe me walls were literally decaying and the whole place smelled. ” Aug 28, 2006 by
Lucy from San Antonio, TX
“Location was good in relation to airport, staff was competent and helpful. The stains on the comforter and chair...made us feel very uncomfortable about cleanliness, we will not stay in another Travel Lodge again.” Jul 5, 2006 by
Suzin from Napa, CA
“While this hotel is kept clean it is starting to show it's age in the outdated showers and the aging carpet. It is on the outskirts of the Capital Area in Sacramento. The cheaper room rate does not compensate for the taxi ride taken to reach desired location. Next time I will consider paying a bit more for a nicer room and saving the taxi fare.” Jun 1, 2006 by
Myra from Tracy, CA
“Filthy, dirty, manager dishonest, didn't live up to its contract. The room wasn't ready at 4:00 and should have been ready at 3:30. They didn't try to accommodate me in any way. Simply gave me a printout and canceled the room in my name and the manager told me he didn't have another room and that the one I was supposed to have would not be cleaned for at least one hour. I couldn't have stayed in there at all because of the cigarette smoke. Terrible experience.” Jul 27, 2005 by
Jonathon from Tehachapi, CA
“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. It is located downtown, which is convenient, but it is old, run down, and frequented by what would appear to be prostitutes and homeless people. The absolute worst experience I have ever had.” May 24, 2005 by
Carola from Reedley, CA
“The continenal breakfast was unbelievably bad. A few small pre-packaged rolls in a basket. Had a toaster but no bagels, or bread. Coffee out of a machine that tasted horrible. Other than than our stay was fine. Room was fine also. The TV was very old and remote barely worked.” Hotel Representatives:
