• Nice beds had best sleep ever. Now I have to buy me exact bed.
• Parking fee.

“When you walk in to the hotel. Its amazing. But once you hit the economy floor, its just like stepping into a quality inn, or a 2 star hotel. The room was not big at all, for a 4 star hotel, I was not too happy.”

“This Hotel is rated at 4 star I feel it is more of a 3 star. Knowing what the other 4 star hotels rooms are like, the furniture at this hotel were worn and out dated.”

• Room was big, not very noisy, staff very friendly, good breakfast.
• Mold in the shower, closet door broken, no nickelodeon on TV.

“We were snowed in in Sacramento over the weekend, and ended up extending our stay two extra nights at the Hyatt, for a total stay of 4 nights. I liked the late checkout of the hotel (12 pm) and the food at the Vines restaurant was good. Great breakfast buffet. It has a parking garage attached, which is nice, but the parking fee is a bit steep for a city like Sac. (17 bucks a night!) Should give a person a break if they are staying more than 2 nights. All in all, a good experience.”

• Check-in personnel friendly and went the extra mile to get second room.
• Cost of sodas from vending machine is $3.00 it is very high!

“It was wonderful to stretch out on the queen size bed, but even more wonderful to sleep on Egyptian cotton sheets. What a luxury!”

• We stayed 3 nights and our room was only cleaned 1 day.

“Helpful staff at the front desk, good looking rooms and hotel, but rather disappointing that they took down the Christmas tree in the lobby and all the decorations early the morning after Christmas.”

“I would rate it as 3 4 star. Good location for Downtown. Parking needs some restrictions for "outside" customers. Room could have been a bit cleaner, especially the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Great value through prickle.”

• Great view of the capitol at night!
• The bathrooms were moldy.

“The location and price were fantastic. The rooms were large and had all sorts of amenities. The only problems we had were with the bathrooms. There was no fan in the bathroom and that left it moldy/musty. The beds were very comfortable and well appointed.”

• The location is excellent for those who need or want to be near the capital and/or downtown.
• We have a taller pickup and it took a good 30 minutes to figure out where we could park in the garage; first 3 floors are tallest but valet only.

“Hotel has all the needed amenities, the pool was closed which we weren't informed of before our check in. Parking is a comparable rate to any other hotel. We walked to the capital, as well as to downtown/old town, plenty of shopping at the nearby Westfield Mall. We ate at Morton's steakhouse our first night in town and it was excellent; it's 4 or 5 blocks west of the hotel on the same street.”

• Nice, upscale feel in the lobby and reception area.
• Too noisy in room, could hear neighbors, noisy pipes.

“Overall, a good stay, great location, close to capitol and downtown activities. Was disappointed in the "old" feel of the construction the room was noisy due to thin walls. Could hear the neighbors talking at a normal voice level and the water running through the pipes was loud.”

“Great staff, super hotel my room looked as though one of the beds had been removed and the space just left empty. Only one guest chair, one desk chair. Room was not attractively furnished and not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel. Excellent bed.”

• The valet took 30 minutes to get my car.

“Staff was not up to par of a nice hotel. Some staff were helpful, but the unhelpful staff destroyed their efforts. I called ahead for my car, came down stair within 5 to 10 minutes. My car was not there. It was a Saturday at 7am. More than one valet on duty, the garage is 20 feet away and still I waited another 15 minutes (minimum) for my car. Once my car arrived, the valet got out, I had to open the trunk and put my bag in while the valet stood there and said, "oh, I didn't know how to open your trunk." my trunk is not unusual to open. Very unhelpful. I was up early on a Saturday so that I could get on the road. Their lazy valets just got in my way.”

• The service and hospitality was excellent. We would stay there again.
• The exercise facility was located outside the hotel and not easy to access in workout attire.

“The hotel was beautiful, quiet and handy to downtown. The room was comfortable with luxury bedding and quality hygiene products. The location was convenient and within walking distance to the Capitol Building and other places of interest as well as too many fine restaurants and family type restaurants as well. We were impressed and would stay in this hotel again.”

• Valet parking was expensive.

“The Hyatt is a beautiful hotel with great staff. The beds with really comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The only thing lacking (which was very small!) was extra creamer and sugars in the room for the coffee.”

• Bathroom was a tad dirty.

“The accommodations are beautiful and the beds as comfortable (if not more so) than my own at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the porcelain in the bath tub was chipped and there were marks on the toilet seat. While I realize the cost in fixing the bath tub the replacement of a toilet seat is inexpensive and non time consuming so why they failed to do this I do not understand.”

• The bathroom was not clean. Mold was evident on the tile floor and shower walls.

“This hotel makes you feel right at home when you arrive. The staff is always present (even at 4 am) and willing to help you. The room was exceptionally quiet with comfortable beds and luxurious linens. I was surprised that the bathroom was not clean - there really are multiple ways to clean the mold off tiles. Since we arrived later in the evening, we went to the bar for food. A delightful waitress helped us with our meal. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the facilities!”

“Public areas were very nice. The hotel was very well suited for conferences or seminars. The location was beautiful with a nice view of the park. The rooms were ok. The beds were comfortable with poor quality sheets. The bathroom needed some remodeling.”

• The pool, common areas and restaurant are nice.
• They were very short staffed and the rooms need updating.

“This hotel is a three star pretending to be a four star. Don't be fooled. The rooms need updating and the service is spotty. On the plus side, the location is great and the common areas look very nice.”

• The staff was friendly and parking was convenient.
• The room needed some refurbishing and better cleaning.

“The Sacramento Hyatt Regency is a friendly hotel with many amenities. It is centrally located in the downtown area and has excellent restaurants and cafes. Parking is convenient and reasonably priced if you park your vehicle yourself. The rooms could stand a little refurbishing, but overall this is a nice spot to stay in downtown Sacramento.”

• The beds were very comfortable, which is so important to us.
• The vending machine on the 9th floor took our money and gave nothing.

“We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Our waitress in the hotel's restaurant, at breakfast, was so sweet and an excellent waitress. Although the food was a bit too expensive it was a pleasurable experience.”

• I liked the rooms, and the pool was great. Staff was very accommodating.
• Valet was pretty expensive. But expected.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to families going to Sacramento. The pool was awesome and the rooms were nice. My first room smelled like someone had smoked in it and the staff happily moved me. The buffet for breakfast was great. It's very close to the Capital building and there is a park across the street. Lots of places to walk to eat.”

• Very helpful and friendly staff. Large clean rooms.
• You have to enter the gym from outside, meaning walking around the block.

“We thought we would receive a small or otherwise imperfect room because of the great price. But we had a lovely corner room, very spacious. Big comfortable bed, modern and clean designs and a good sitting area. The staff was very friendly and generally went the extra mile. Such as the valet asking if we needed directions before departing. The gym was very nice and clean with good equipment and amenities. However, you have to walk through the parking garage, out an elevator and down the street to get to it. Not terribly convenient. Overall it was above and beyond our expectations. Would definitely stay again.”

• I was assured over the phone for a king bed but when arrived two full beds.

• Walls are thin and rooms can be a bit noisy sometimes.

“The Hyatt is located in the heart of Sacramento and is a fairly good 4 star hotel. The staff is very professional and the hotel is very clean. The wall was a bit thin because I could sometimes here conversations from the room next to me. The continental was so-so.”

• Sunday Brunch was excellent.
• Self parking was a little sub par, seems like half of the stalls were for "compact cars."

• Far and away the best customer service I have ever received.
• Mandatory overnight parking fee was a bit high.

“I have stayed in many 3 to 5 star hotels over the years - both for business and non-business reasons. In all my years traveling and staying in hotels, the Hyatt Regency Sacramento was one of the best hotels in which I have ever stayed. In fact, in the context of business trips, it was the best I have ever experienced. The customer service was second to none. The room was gorgeous, well laid-out and everything I needed (or could have wanted) was either in the room or a telephone call away. The in-room dining was fantastic. I can not say enough about this hotel. Anyone traveling for business or on vacation with the family would be remiss if they did not at the very least consider highly staying at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento. My trip was that more successful because of my worry-free stay. This is all 100% true.”
