“I would not stay at this hotel again.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Michelle from Santa Clara,CA
“One night at the Governors Inn Hotel was good for my family and I. At the time we were there, the Hotel was going through a remodel. The first and third floors were closed due to the remodel. Upon arrival at the front desk, I requested two queen sized beds. I was happy that she was able to locate a room w/ our needs. Our hotel room was very clean, although the decor and carpets were old fashioned. Fortunately, I prefer a clean room over an old fashion style room. So I'm not complaining. We just stayed there for one night so it wasn't a bad deal at all.” Sep 30, 2009 by

“Shame on them for doing business during such a major reconstruction project. I would not have stayed there except for the long awaited family reunion. I had no time to look for other lodging. It was barely skirting the location I requested. The area was right off of the freeway and a bit sleazy.” Aug 23, 2009 by
Ann from Padasena,CA
“Nice rooms, location. Could improve on breakfast setup, arrangements.” Aug 21, 2009 by
Frank from Irvine,CA
“Hotel is very old. No restaurant. There are a lot noise from freeway and street. There is no hot breakfast. The hotel is very close to downtown attractions. Free in room WiFi is good to have.” Jul 28, 2009 by
Susan from Redding,CA
“Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff was very polite and friendly. Pool was small and clean, but was constantly in the shade all day long. Good for some, I guess, but was too cold to sit in the shade. I would definitely stay again - after construction complete.” Jul 18, 2009 by
Tracey from Clovis,CA
“Quiet with VERY comfy beds. Loved our stay. Slept so good.” Apr 28, 2009 by
Minai from La Mesa,CA
“As I shared with the desk agents and assistant manager, the stay was great, beds were very firm and comfortable. They had a breakfast service, and overall friendly and helpful staff. I would recommend to people who want a clean, comfortable and quiet stay away from home. As a reminder, if you desire to go places, a car or area land transport.” Feb 8, 2009 by
Kay from Fortuna,CA
“Great location for business travelers, close to downtown and major highways; clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Adequate breakfast bar and hospitality hour set-up. It was quiet during my stay, which is important.” Nov 24, 2008 by
Ryan from Phoenix,AZ
“This was not the hotel Nov 23, 2008 by

“There were a lot of people complaining about internet connection, when you are a business traveler you need internet to do your business, this hotel is not a 3 star as you said, maybe a little above 1 star, its in a bad area of town, many beggars and homeless people on every corner, was scared to go out after dark.” Hotel Representatives:
