• Easy access to downtown Sacramento.
• Tight parking, small eating area.

“Room was neat & clean, parking was definitely not for a larger vehicle. Desk agent was personable, efficient. Small dining area, esp. if you travel with kids. All in all, a good motel for what I was doing.”

• The manager was nice and genuine.
• Unsecured toilet seat, holes in sheets.

“The manager was helpful and kind, the room was not feeling especially clean. There were tears/holes in the sheets and a broken toilet seat. We went for the economy so I guess it's our fault. Would not stay there again. We have stayed at super 8 motels before and not had these conditions.”

• The front desk was friendly.
• The outlets didn't work, the TV was snowy, the fridge didn't work.

“The only things work in the room were the faucets and the lights. TV and the refrigerator do not work, the hair drier does not work and only one outlet by the stand was working.”

• I thought the staff was very friendly.
• The air conditioner was loud and woke me up as it cycled during the night.

“I was quite pleased with the Super 8. I wanted to go cheap and the quality was better than I expected for the money. The staff was friendly and the room perfectly adequate. One light bulb was missing and the air conditioner was pretty loud. It woke me up during the night as it cycled on and off but I couldn't turn it off completely because it was really hot outside. The hotel being near a freeway was not a problem because it was closed for construction and I couldn't hear the work over the AC. It only took a few minutes to get to the airport and there was cheap gasoline next door. However, the breakfast was bad, consisted only of bran flakes, Fruit Loops, an English muffin, or a packaged Danish, I ate at the airport. The juice machine was also on the fritz.”

• Nothing! I didn't end up staying there even though I paid.
• Uncompromising.

• Easy access to freeway.
• Phone didn't work, toilet was clogged and overflowed, and in room alarm didn't work.

“Very noisy from location next to freeway. Tight parking area for anything bigger than a small economy car. Staff seemed disinterested when I told them that the toilet was overflowing, the alarm didn't work, and the phone didn't work for outgoing calls. I got sick and slept late, so the staff became very agitated that I was checking out late. No apologies for the problems with the toilet, phone, or alarm.”

• Not a very good continental breakfast.

• Close proximity to the freeway. Reasonably priced.
• Not very close to restaurants.

“Great for budget minded travelers. Not many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, so one will definitely need a car to get around. The freeway is very close to the hotel allowing access to the city. Overall, the hotel room was satisfactory; the carpeted floor was dirtier than expected.”

• The location was excellent, close to HWYS, restaurants, gas.
• The shower curtains had mildew. I did not mention to hotel staff, but I will call. Other than that, it was very clean.
