• I could not control the fan in my room and have white noise while I slept. I don't like that.

“Perfectly satisfactory but certainly not fantastic. The hotel is nearing time for a rehab. There were no vending machines. If you want a soda or a snack you have to go to the store in the lobby. The TV was on the side of my bed and about 4 feet from where I slept. Very difficult to view T.V. from bed. There is no restaurant on the property and this is bad if you are not driving as there is nothing close by.”

• Standard Marriott courtyard.
• Heating-cooling controlsroom was hot.

“You expect certain things including a heating - cooling system that can be personally regulated. Every room should be capable of cooling-even in winter/spring. Some management -operator decided that everyone should live with 68 degrees (or warmer) in March. I had a long long night as the room was stifling. The only option was to open the balcony door. That helped, but then you are dealing with night traffic noises. I was very disappointed in the narrow mindedness of the management of this hotel.”

• The courtyard grounds were grassy and well shaded - safe for children to play. The pool was warm, fenced, and surrounded by the shaded garden area.
• The green carpet and popcorn ceiling.

“This hotel has been completely renovated, though there are still some characteristics of the older hotel - popcorn ceiling, no bathroom fan. Very clean. Helpful staff. Has a store with toiletries and food/drink. Beautiful outdoor courtyard - secure, grassy and shaded with big trees. Great to relax and for kids to run around. Fenced in pool is heated and shaded in the courtyard. Beautiful quiet setting close to Downtown.”

“I thought this hotel was perfect for what I needed. It is not located near downtown, but is only a few miles from the zoo and river. It's in an office park, not near bustling restaurants or anything, but it was quiet and shady and had a nice outdoor pool.”

“Hotel is located in a very uneasy part of town. Really good for a thief to prey on the patrons. We were one of those patrons who had their car broken into. We had a very horrible experience at this hotel, the pictures on the web site are very misleading and we will not book another one again.”

• Hotel was self-contained. Comfortable room though modest. Coffee and Internet service available in lobby-nice extra.
• Location in a business park. No other services around and a little hard to find off the freeway.

“I think the hotel was great for the price ($70). The rooms are a little modest but clean and comfortable You can usually trust Marriott to deliver value for the price. The hotel is located in a business park so there were no services in the area but there was a small convenience store onsite. I also really appreciate a computer to use in the lobby. I was looking for a hotel close to Arco Arena. It definitely did the job and I would stay there again.”

• Very convenient to Downtown Sacramento for a reasonable price.
• Floor not cleaned very well under bed, attention to detail.

“I enjoyed my stay and when I go back to the Sacramento area, I will most likely stay in the same place. It met all of my expectations of a Courtyard by Marriott with the exception of the attention to detail in cleaning the room's carpets. Upon check-in I found used tissues on the floor between the bed spread and the bed frame. Otherwise, everything else was excellent.”

• Physique (higher quality) complimentary shampoo in room.
• I didn't toiletries. When I asked about getting some toilettries from the front desk, I got a funny look.

“Very clean, secure, and well appointed. I had a mixed reaction from the staff. Some were very helpful and polite, others seemed almost suspicious of someone who would forget to pack a toothbrush and razor. I was very happy to have a good conditioning shampoo available in the room.”

• My best friend and I were given adjoining rooms.
• My friend requested to stay an extra night at check-in but had to go request again the next day.

“A bit off the beaten path but clean and comfortable. However with no lunch or dinner served Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, you have to go out and fight the crowds at one of the 4 or 5 restaurants within 3 or 4 miles of this hotel..... Eat before you check in on a weekend.”

“I needed an additional nights stay and the hotel could not accomodate an additional night. I had to resubmit and luckily I got the same hotel so did not have to change rooms. They missed cleaning room one night.”

• The Jacuzzi and pool were great! The temperature of both was just perfect.

“WE had an excellent stay. It was better than we expected, as the Jacuzzi was hot, and the outside pool was heated just right. Lots of pillows on the comfortable beds was great! We really had a nice night.”
