• I liked the fully equipped kitchen.
• Had to pay extra for wireless internet. No shuttle to the airport.

“I stayed in a Super 8 motel the previous week that had a nicer room for less money. I felt that the Homestead Suite was not of good value for the price.”

• Absolutely nothing.
• Everything, room reeked of smoke, the sheets, blankets, everything. Dirty. There were stains on couch.

“Dirty and smelly. Room reeked of cigarettes. Incomplete set of dishes and silverware. Could hear neighbor's TV.”

• I was close to the area I needed to be.
• Wireless internet cost, was unreliable and very slow.

“The carpet was so dirty that my 10 month olds knees, hands and feet were almost black within 10 minutes of crawling on the floor. The wireless internet costs extra and would disconnect randomly and when it was connect it was slower than dial-up. And the dishes they provided in he cupboard were not clean. Would not stay again without huge improvements.”

“The first room I checked in smelled like weed and there was a bug on the bed. The second room I checked in had hair every where, the bed on the bath room and the floor needs to vacuumed. There was stomping from the room above me, I had a terrible stay and did not get much sleep at all.”

“The location of the hotel in the Natomas area of Sacramento is good and there are some good services in the area -- gas, Starbucks, some quick food places. The rooms are clean. On the negative side, the beds are terrible! These beds are very hard and are difficult to sleep on.”

• The attendant brought us extra pillows at 11 pm!
• Not getting two queen beds or at least one King as standard accommodations.

“We were very pleasantly surprised. It was close (10 minutes) to the airport, very clean and pleasant. High speed internet is available for a small fee. The staff was wonderful! Do be aware though, that you are only guaranteed one queen bed. This was the best experience for the least amount of money that we've had!”

“It was a crappy hotel that nickels and dimes you. 5.00 charge for the internet and an upgrade fee if you want a king bed - It would have been worth bidding more for greater comfort. You end up spending the money anyway. Extended Stay brand properties stink.”

• It was quiet, good location for reduced noise and traffic.
• No housekeeping so had to ask to get towels after extending stay. No coffee except once in three days even when requested.

“I felt safe alone there. It was convenient from I-5 and with me going back and forth to the hospital for three days, it was welcome.”

• I liked that the building was very spacious; out in the open not to close to other buildings.
• I did not like the fact that the walls were too thin. I heard my neighbors TV all night long.

• We had a kitchenette and the rooms were so fresh and clean.
• I liked it.

“I have stayed twice in this hotel the evening prior to going to the Sacramento Airport. I was really happy when I got the same hotel the second time around. The people were great as were the rooms.”

• Bed was not terribly comfortable and it was not a king or queen, but a double.

“The hotel was clean and efficient. Located in a good quiet area. The bed was too small for the reservation made. All hotel beds should be king or queen size. This was a double being pitched as a queen. My reservation was for a king.”

• It was good enough for the price we paid. Great I 5 access.
• The carpet was stained, there was only soap in the bathroom and the glasses were dirty.

“If youre looking for an inexpensive stay, and basically just need someplace to sleep, this is the perfect place. If you'd like any kind of extras, a soft bed, or don't like stained carpet, you might want to choose someplace else. This is an extend stay hotel so there was a small kitchen in the "studio" room.”

• Small motel.

“I had to pay extra $10 to get a double bed while no additional charge was added in Hyatt and Red Lion to add a Queen bed. It wasn't that great a value.”

• Location was great, Very quiet area. We just moved our daughter there for college, and we were less then two miles from her.
• Hair in the bathroom. Hard to get someone that speak English, and no pool in Calif.

“In all this was a good place to just sleep, but we did take our seven year old grandson. And I believe a hooker was right above us, which I was not impressed. Also with out a pool it was hard to stay cool, in the heat. This also had a kitchenette, I called the front desk for dish soap, and I was told to go to the store and but some.”

• The bed sheets were all dirty (3 beds).

“Very dirty bedding with stains and foot prints. The stuff was friendly to come quickly and change the sheets. But the dirty sheets made us fell uncomfortable to use any of the kitchen things. No shampoo provided.”

“The front office had an ac leak that was dripping onto the ceiling light. There was no shampoo in the bathroom- called front desk and they gave me shampoo (but no conditioner). The rooms were clean. Very standard.”

“This is an economy hotel by definition. The tiny room, the lack of basic amenities, hard bed, dirty floors, no maid service, is what you exact in a category 1 - economy room, not category 2 rooms.”

• Easy access to the room. Nice bathtub and lots of hot water.
• The bed was awful, microwave did not work.

“Nice for the business traveler, but short on comfort. The bed was just okay- hard but not lumpy, but very uncomfortable. The microwave did not work. The room was clean; the bathroom was spacious with a nice tub and tons of hot water. Easy access from the freeway, clean, and nice sized. I would probably stay there again; it was a good overall except for the bed!”

“The hotel was okay at best for what it was. But did not like the bed, very uncomfortable and the walls were extremely thin. Got complains about making noise and (manager came by) and was just talking at normal conversational voice level. We also heard our neighbors talking. Not very private as far as privacy is concern.”

• Didn't appear to be crowded.
• We were 'given' a smoker room, they gave no help to change.

“We found the hotel located ok. Really disappointed that we got smoking room. Said they were full, which my wife and questioned, when we asked them for a non smoking room. Hotel didn't look full, judging the amount of vehicles outside. Staff was friendly, but distracted doing other work. It was like we were a bother to be there. My wife and I were business traveling.”

“It has convinced of a studio apt with a kitchen, large bathroom with tub and shower. It¿s clean and has a bed and an easy chair with a footrest, a large mirrored closet, dresser and TV.”

• Room cleaning not scheduled for 2-day stay.

“Hotel designed for extended stay travelers. Was clean and quiet during weekend stay, however, located next to an active construction site. Maid service (changes of sheets, towels, etc.) Does not occur daily. Full size refrigerator, 2-eye stove and microwave a plus. Television had defective volume control.”

• It is set up like a studio apt with stove top, fridge, & dishes, etc.
• The foot rest had a big tear in it.

“I have stayed at this hotel many times and always felt totally satisfied with it. I found it odd that it used to be a 2 1/2 star and this time it was a 2 star. The room that I was assigned this time was not as nice as the many I had stayed in the past. Dish items were missing and the foot rest had a big rip in it. It has always been clean with a nice tub and shower combo, a bed and a nice chair with a foot rest.”
