- The cute towel geese they left on the bed.
- Nothing, all was awesome.
“The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable with plenty of room. It was easy to fall asleep in the wonderful king bed in the room. The internet was fast and free too! Staff treated us like royalty, we were pampered and loved it.”

- The room was very comfortable and quiet. The business center was helpful.
- The end of the hotel where I stayed was very long and a distance from desk , business center & pool.
“I stayed there several days and found the room very nice with a comfortable bed and chair. The AC was efficient and extremely quiet. The business center was helpful and the staff helpful.”

- Parking was plentiful.
- Snotty staff and unkempt building.
“This was a highly over rated hotel. Light bulbs were missing, switches were broken, toilets didn't flush, and hallways were dirty. I am just thankful that I only had committed to one night. Too bad, cause it's a great location for south San Jose. This holiday inn was no holiday.”

- The quick service during the pool time I was at the door to get in the spa at 7AM they opened at 7:09 AM.
- Well there isn't much I didn't like but the wedding got out of hand and that isn't the hotels fault.
“We enjoyed the room it was roomy and comfortable for myself and my mom and both beds were well set for us to use with a lot of pillows which was great for my mom's back and my serious diabetes for walking distance and level for entering with my weak legs. Great for relaxing.”

- Beds were comfortable.
- Given a key to a room that had sleeping people in it, another room had party next to it.
“Room should not be assigned on the same floor as a loud wedding party. Security didn't do much about loud room parties. ”

- Poor rooms and inconsiderate staff.
- Poor response time to issues.
“After a long day of travel I was extremely frustrated when after having to change my room once, I tried to turn on the TV to watch the news and it was bad. Repairman tried came and went...several times saying just 5 more minutes before he disappeared completely. Had to call again where they said the cable box was bad and would need additional time. Explained it was late and just wanted to change and go to bed. Ending up having to move rooms again. No apologies from hotel. ”

- Convenient location off the 101, quiet room, did not hear freeway noise, good coffee or muffins.
- Some stains on carpet, bathroom needed some grout work.
“My hotel experience was very satisfactory for a brief, one-night stay. We were at the hotel for less than 12 hours. It served our business needs. The beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. It was very quiet for being so close to the 101. There is a restaurant or saloon in easy walking distance. Warm muffins and coffee were in the lobby which was very convenient.”

- Human hair on the bathroom floor and in shower, water faucet noise.
“Nice place, good location a little hard to find as the map for the hotel is in error as to placement via roadways for a new hotel, the water pipes are terribly noisy-bad construction.”

- Nice spacious rooms that are clean and comfortable.
- hotel personnel were less than friendly and had difficulty proccessing room charges. Our door was knocked on by a staff member asking if we payed!

- Parking can be a challenge on Saturday nights

- Cookies and coffee in the lobby at all hours
“Normally, I do not like Holiday Inns because they are run down and musty. The one in Silicon Valley was a pleasant change from the norm. The room was great, the hotel was reasonably fresh, the staff was good. This is a good little place!”

- Easy freeway access
- Locked out of room both days due to defective key cards.
“The apples in the lobby were mushy/mealy on both days. No complimentary breakfast either morning, supplies not replenished. Housekeeping did not come to the room after the first night. Staff was responsive, although one young woman on the morning crew acted bored and put upon.”

- Staff was very helpful.
- Paper thin walls, elephants were living above us and the hearing impaired next door.
“The hotel was clean and convenient to where we were going. Staff is very helpful. Were able to supply a refrigerator to the room w/ no extra cost, but took 45 minutes to get it. Stayed 2 days but maid didn't make up room until 4pm. Free cookies and coffee daily. Nice restaurant on site.”

“The Hotel room was just OK. My room had a 3 foot by 3 foot nasty looking stain at the foot of the bed. This room should not have been given to a customer until it was cleaned up properly. The staff was fine.”
