“This place was awesome! It was attractive and relaxing. They upgraded us to a suite for free and they were helpful in showing us how to get to our party. We checked out a little late with no extra charges. I wish every hotel was like this, or I had more excuses to visit Milpitas.”

• Excellent location, well maintained property, very clean.
• Parking spots are very tight - should be re-striped for wider vehicles.

“Very clean, upscale property. Rooms were quiet, comfortable and clean. Free internet in the room. The pool area was a pleasant surprise, much nicer than I usually find. I would stay here again in a heartbeat - it was a great value!”

• the pool was nice to sit around and or swim in very relaxing area
• the bed room window very dirty inside and out. makes you wonder what else is not so clean

“this was a great hotel we had 6 children with us ranging in ages from 9 years to 21 months the hotel accommodate all of our needs. the buffet breakfast was very good, and they didn't charge for kids under 5. the windows were dirty but over all was a good hotel for our large family.”

• Convenient to the freeway, yet quiet.
• A little run down, though not too bad.

“I felt that this hotel looked a little run down due to age though the room was clean and the bed comfortable. It was very convenient to the freeway (880). Staff was not unfriendly nor friendly. They really could use an automatic front entrance door as it's hard to enter with a load of baggage! Free internet worked fine but a little slow. Generally a good stay.”

• I like the swimming pool are.
• I didn't like $150 hold on my card.

“The hotel has shown some great improvements to the public areas and the remolding rooms are nice, but the maids became very irritating knocking on my door at 9 am, then 10 am, then 11 am. Also, it a little disturbing that now have a policy to hold $150 on your card, even though your room was paid for through Priceline. Other than those two issues the hotel offers a good experience if you buy from Priceline.”

• Always comfortable and a great location to where family and friends live.
• The parking spaces are a little tight for larger vehicles.

“Have been staying here at least 2 or 3 times a year for the last 3 years. Kind of like a home for us as far as hotels go. The hotel never feels too crowded or busy and service is fast and great for any necessities.”

• Bed was very comfortable.
• Suite set-up was awkward, especially for 2 adults/2 teens.

“We are used to the accommodations of Courtyard Hotels. In comparison, this did not meet our needs. The restaurant was too expensive for traveling with a family. The room showed signs of wear.”

• It is small and quiet.
• The last two times I was there, the receptionist was unfriendly. The room smell likes an old place to major upgrade.

• It was convenient and overall, a nice place to stay for a few days.
• The shower was ackward to use; the floor creaked; walls were thin.

“I needed a place close to my job for a few days at the last minute. This worked just fine. There were a few issues (shower, creaky floor, can hear other guests next door and in hallway), but I spent most of my days at the office and only used the room to sleep. The public areas were well decorated and pleasant. The room I had was spacious...the furnishings were standard. It was designed for a handicapped person which is great, but the shower was setup such that you had to hold the nozzle in one hand and wash with the other. The nozzle wasn't mounted on the wall.”

• The restaurant and bar were closed for the week.

“Window lock inoperative, door security lock inoperative, toilet ran unless handle jiggled, two TV stations frozen and inoperative, restaurant and lounge were closed for lunch and dinner during the first week of January although room service was available until 9:00 PM. I've had better luck with this hotel in the past.”

• The staff is really nice and extremely helpful they went and help me with all that was neede and then some.
• The parking for this hotel is very bad. There is no way to access the hotel from all areas of the very bad parking situation.

“This is one of the nicest hotels; it is a bit older but is always clean and maintained. Some areas could be attended to that would show the extra care for a hotel that is at this star level but not anything major. The staff is wonderful and you can't ask for nicer. The parking is my only issue not good and need to be addressed.”

“Overall this hotel is very nice, and hospitable. It is fancy looking, attractive for the eye to see. The only complaint I have is the mold in the tub. Besides that, it was a wonderful experience. The beds were very comfortable.”

• Too noisy, not enough noise insulation in between rooms & floors.

“I could hear people talk in the hallway; I could hear people upstairs walking at night & in the morning. The bathroom is much smaller & doesn't have shower room (I prefer shower room over bath tub any day). I didn't get a very pleasant stay like last time due to all the noise from people upstairs. The internet is not flaky. To get ice, I have to go back to the elevator and go up to floor 3, or down to floor 1, as floor 2 has no ice machine.”

• We liked the hotel's proximity, convenient from the freeway & to airport.
  
• We did not know the hotel allowed pets. The dog was barking next to us for the daytime and early morning.

“The hotel was pretty nice for the price. However, we did not know it allowed pets. We had problems with the dog barking pretty loud next to our room during the afternoon and early morning hours.

• The location is very good. The Gym was excellent. The coffee in the morning provided a good start to the day.
• Dined there twice but the taste of the food was only average.

“Good for both business travelers as well as families on holiday. Good facilities with well equipped Gym, a large pool and convenient restaurant & bar. Rooms are spacious and clean. Easy excess to main expressways.”

“For the price, the room was excellent. Our destination was actually San Francisco. This hotel's location had easy access to nearby freeways and with the help of goggle maps we were able to get to our destination and back easily. Would definitely stay there again.”

• I liked that the hotel clerk found another room to accommodate me & 3 teen girls but had to come back after 5pm.
• I didn't like that when I arrived after a 5 hr drive that the only room available was with 1 bed & a rollaway bed.

• Opened room door found painter on ladder right in doorway. Had to drag luggage over drop cloths and power cords.

“This hotel is very conveniently located, near major freeways and airport. It was very clean and nicely appointed. There was construction in my hallway. In the morning, I opened my room door to find a painter on a ladder right in the doorway. When checking out, I had to drag luggage over their drop cloths and power cords. The front desk staff was not very helpful. Upon check-in, I was directed to the wrong set of elevators, thus the wrong wing of the hotel. It was late and I had three small children plus luggage. I didn't appreciate wandering the hotel, looking for my room. Overall, though, the hotel was a place that I would stay in the future.”
