• Large clean rooms.
• At least a mile walk to good restaurants.

“Good value for the money. You need to drive to the aquarium and most of the better food places from one to two miles.”

• Cleanliness! Always top at Best Western!
• I did not like the parking-too crowded, the bed was way too hard, pillows were too small & too few. This is an older hotel.

“This hotel is ideal- if your not seeking luxury! It is not far from Downtown Monterey. The parking is too crowded. The staff was very friendly and the cleanliness of our room was tops. The hotel is a much older hotel”

• Great location, clean.
• Walls were paper thin.

“While this motel was in a great location and very clean. We had a corner room with adjoining door to the next suite. The noise between the adjoining room and the in-suite fridge was unbearable. No sleep whatsoever!”

• Continental breakfast.
• Massively inflated prices during an event.

“This is a good little motel if you want an inexpensive place to stay while you visit Monterey. There was a car show in town. Check events in the area, they can cause a steep increase. It is not worth the price. Their continental breakfast is very nice. The air conditioning did not operate in our room. Although Monterey is cool the room got hot and stuffy, they give you a fan.”

• The pool was little.

“It was a nice stay, the weather was a lot cooler than we expected, but overall I was with my spouse and that was enough for me.”

• The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous.
• The swimming pool was not heated.

“The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The rooms have been remodeled and provided space for the family. The staff was wonderful, very helpful with local information. Great place for a family.”

• Convenient, easy to access off highway.
• Needs renovating - older hotel - minimal continental breakfast.

“This hotel worked well for us because of convenience - we were visiting family that lived only a block away. the price point worked as well. it is an older hotel in need of renovation. the continental breakfast was very minimal offering only cereal, toast, pastries, coffee and juice.”
