• Sound proof rooms, great free breakfast room.
• Confusing door locks.

• Clean.
• Hard bed, bathroom fan deafening, air conditioner loud.

“I stayed for 2 nights and did not sleep due to the poor quality of the bed, loud air conditioner. Opened door instead and freeway noise was better at night. Bathroom light was part of fan and made it difficult to tolerate while brushing teeth and grooming. Poor lighting for women to put on make-up. Never stay here again.”

• Very clean environment, close to freeways and eateries.
• Everything was wonderful.

“The staff and security were friendly, rooms and common areas very well kept. Great location, close to freeways, food, gas station and public transportation. Good selection for continental breakfast. I thought I was at the wrong hotel because of the price. I was expecting just a so-so hotel. Have recommended to friends and family.”

• Slept great! Best continental breakfast I've seen!
• King sized room was smaller than double queen. But thats the only things.

“We had a great but short stay. The bed was the best nights sleep I'd had in months! My husband really enjoyed the varied selection at the free continental breakfast.”

• The staff was friendly and the bed was comfy.
• My key stopped working.

“This place is very comfortable. Easy access to expressway or to the metro. The rooms are beautiful. The beds are comfy. I'm glad I found this place and would stay again.”

• I had to leave.

“Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed in for this price. Don't even think about staying anywhere else when you are in San Jose. Great front desk staff, clean room, comfortable bed, doesnt miss their breakfast - very nice as well. For the price this place can't be beat.”

• Convenient to downtown San Jose.
• A lot of messy renovation and construction junk visible.

“Overall this was a decent place to stay for the price. Proximity to downtown San Jose is good but actual location is difficult to get to due to being located close to the light rail tracks; however that is also convenient if you don't have a car. There is a lot of renovation going on and they did not do a good job of keeping it isolated strong chemical smells in the halls and open doors with rooms with ripped up carpet, etc contributed to a shabby feel for an otherwise decent facility.”

• Had an incident with a maid taking something by mistake, but it was later returned?

“Everything was new and clean. The location was good. They even have a nice free continental breakfast. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel.”

• The interior of the room.
• The pool/Jacuzzi was under renovation.

• Fire alarm went off in early morning three times, management did not call patrons.

• Everything was very new.
• The water from the tap left a bad taste in my mouth.

“This hotel is being renovated with all new carpet, furniture, and bedding. The room had a very nice flat panel television which was a great surprise to my family and me. This is a very nice hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.”

• Close to the airport.
• Possible bed bugs or something that bit me several times.

“I was rather surprised that I had a problem with possible bed bugs biting me. I mentioned it to the front desk guy in the morning at check out but he didn¿t seem to care maybe because he was really busy.”

• Convenient to my customer visits, airport, eateries, light rail.
• While walking through the room, the television would move.

“Since it's a Marriott, I would expect that Marriott standards are applicable to every one of their properties. I chose this hotel for the convenience of my visitor. But I have yet to visit the site.”

• The website photos did not match the room features (no couch in king room).

“The website for this hotel showed photos of rooms with a love seat or upholstered chair. our room had neither.”

• Convenient to airport, decent continental breakfast.
• A bit hard to get to right off the freeway.

“The hotel is nicer than it appears from the freeway as there is construction going on in front of it right now. It took me a couple of trips around the block to find it and find the proper driveway. The continental breakfast was slightly above average because they had boiled eggs and fruit.”
