• Was not able check in.
• The 100.00 deposit fee in case of damage.

“I called before I got there and the lady was rude, then I went in to check in and was not able to do so, since they take $100.00 deposit fee in case of any damage. I was not able to check in I lost my money as well as I had to sleep in my car.”

• Everything, friendly, clean, always tentative to my needs, and extremely cheerful.
• That I didn't stay longer.

“The front desk was very helpful. We called 4 times because I was lost, & she was very pleasant, and helpful. She never got short or frustrated with me.”

• Larger rooms and close to destination.
• Shower.

“Clean rooms and a larger scale showers o.k. Entrance to room was outdoor no lobby entrance overall met needs and friendly staff.”

• I was impressed with the newness of the furniture.
• We had to get them to renew our room cards each day.

“The hotel was very nice for the price and the staff was nice when they understood what the question was. I was annoying to have to each night to get the room card reactivated and each time the staff said they fixed the problem but each day it was the same.”

• Location was real close to where we needed to be and we could get there and back easily.
• No pool or Jacuzzi and tough parking lot to turn into and park.

“If your going to a breakfast area open from a certain time to a certain time, you need to have more than crumbs from the bottom of the box in your bowls etc.”

• Close to freeways access.
• No parking. Construction everywhere.

“Because of the construction there was no place to park. Also the construction materials were all over the place. Maybe after the construction is over it will be nice to stay.”

• Liked having internet access available. Continental breakfast and nice clean pillows.
• I thought it was a hotel, but it is actually a motel.

“Access to university of Santa Clara was very convenient. The sole purpose for my trip.”

• The room had a couch and sitting area. Continental breakfast was offered.
• The bed was not made correctly (the bottom sheet didn't go all the way down).

“Overall, nice. Nothing amazing, but the sitting area in the room was a great feature, and the continental breakfast definitely made life easier (and more affordable). I felt pretty safe as far as cleanliness/not picking up any scary bacteria goes, but was annoyed that the bed was made incorrectly. The bottom sheet was tucked in too much at the top, leaving the mattress exposed to my feet at the bottom of the bed. We had to re make the bed before we went to sleep, and I was a bit annoyed, but the problem didn't re appear the e next day.”

• Bath drain problem. Resolved. Staff was efficient.
• TV had 3 cable channels. Very inadequate. Need CNBC for business.

“It was comfortable to stay. I would call it a motel and not a Hotel. No pool and coffee shop. Inadequate number of TV channels. I would not stay here next time.”

• Easy in and out, staff friendly, room clean.
• Room was very worn, wallpaper coming off walls etc.

“Great location, friendly staff, consistent with what you may find in a 2star motel. The room was a little worn but clean. Would be good for business traveler or family. Good breakfast.”

• Surprise on arrival - got smoking room or pay upgrade fee.

• Beds were comfortable.
• This hotel is in the middle of nowhere.

“Lackluster motel. Nothing fancy or luxurious. Though it was a nonsmoking room, there were plenty of cigarette burns on the two bedspreads. Two empty beer bottles perched outside the window out of reach--an emblem of the lack of care. Breakfast selections were almost all of a sugar nature.”

• The staff was really great. Knew a lot about the area and was able to direct me to locations where I was working. The breakfast was nice also.
• It looked old. The room I had was OK but well-worn. There were lots of dust bunnies.

“For a one night quick stay, this hotel was adequate. I would not suggest it as a place to do business or recline. Ask for a room in the back as the front of El Camino is noisy all the time.”
