- Did not accomadate our needs.
“The hotel itself, but I was not happy with our stay there. They refused to give me a room with two beds. They charged for wireless internet, seemed like they should have provided that for their guests.Only two towels provided in the room and the carpet in the room looked like someone died there, because there was a huge unsightly stain.”

- I really can not think of anything negative to say about this hotel.

- Fantastic hotel for the price.
- A few times I tried to get the desk and it rang many times and I hung up.
“I loved the Fremont Marriot, especially since the parking was complementary so no added expense like the one in San Ramon or San Francisco. It was an excellent hotel and I would stay there many times again.”

- The room was very quiet (AC system) and the bed was very comfy.
- No refrigerator, had to pay for internet, no free continental breakfast.
“Comfortable, quiet room with very comfy beds. The lobby is large with a nice dining area with multiple flat panel TV's linked to a bar room with more TV's and a restaurant. There is a multi-floor parking garage. The is an excellent work-out area with many tread mills and elliptical machines and a good size indoor pool. Just off of 880 and close to 237. Very nice, I would stay there again.”

- It was convenient in proximity to the freeway and central to both San Jose and San Francisco.

“This was a very functional property with great access to the main freeway. Parking was plentiful and the exercise facilities were roomy and state of the art. I vacationed there with my son and the attention of the staff to his requests made this a very enjoyable experience. If opportunity calls for that location I will request that hotel again.”

- Very clean, modern and attractive. Just as most Marriott hotels.
- Inefficiency in regards to reservations.
“I enjoyed my stay overall, however had several issue regarding my reservations. My wife made them and actually made two separate reservations, which caused unnecessary problems to start: I arrived after 12:00 midnight and was told I only had a reservation for one night and it took 20 minutes for staff to figure out I had two reservations. The next day I left my room and returned to find my key did not work, so had to go back to the front desk to fix. The next day I had the exact same problem, even though I had arranged for a late check out later that day.”

- Very comfortable bed and pillows.
- Request for extra sugar and towels were ignored.
“We arrived 1 1/2 hrs. Before check in from an overseas flight and they would not accommodate our early arrival. We were forced to sit in the hotel restaurant as the lounge was not even open. Also the request we made for extra sugar for coffee and extra towels was completely ignored by staff.”

“My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the weekend. The hotel room was very clean, and the staff was friendly. But I do have a few complaints. 1. The bed was comfortable but too low! 2. Noise in the hallway could be heard very clearly. 3. This is the biggie. My husband and I went to dinner and brought back our dessert (key lime pie) we asked if they had a mini fridge available. When the fridge came (an hr later) the guy hooked it up and when he left my husband went to put the pie inside and it had mold at the bottom of it! It was too late for me to complain so we just went to sleep and my pie had to stay out all night! I told the manager about at check out and he was shocked and very apologetic. All that being said, I would stay at the hotel again.”

“An upscale, crowded, noisy, business-centric hotel. It was clean, the room amenities were ok, the phone was a rip-off, the restaurant was way overpriced and uninspired, every call was charged, they don't even offer free coffee which even Motel 6 does and charging $9.95 is what the market will bear for internet access apparently, but it's still a rip. I would never stay there again.”

“We stayed at the Marriott for three days to attend a friend's wedding in san Jose. Typically I find that staying at a Marriott is always a pleasant experience. This was our experience for the first half of our stay; however a couple of small things ruined the stay for us. While the room did not have a fridge, it had a really comfortable bed (like we have come to expect), a decent bathroom and everything was clean. we had trouble connecting to the internet (they don't offer wireless in the rooms and our network cable needed to be replaced) and wasn't happy having to pay $10/day for the connection after receiving complementary in every other hotel during our stay going up the coast. We had to go to many locations in san Jose, Fremont and Milpitas. While we weren't centrally located, we were right next to the freeway so it wasn't terrible. We had room service one afternoon and were both impressed with our meals. The prices weren't bad either. We decided to have room service for breakfast on the day of the wedding since we had to meet up with friends at 7am so we didn't want to wake up at 4am to get ready and go out to eat. We had the worst breakfast of our two week trip that morning. There was nothing good about it. I still don't understand why, however it was terrible. Normally, I would have called and asked for something else however we only had 15 minutes to eat prior to having to leave.”

- Half of the hotel is looking over the salt ponds in south end of san Francisco bay.
- Single door access, inconvenient to parking garage. Swimming pool not accessible without crossing lobby.
“Little further more to the north from san Jose than optimal (~8-10 miles), close to the freeway, but the rooms facing the bay have a _very_ nice view, not the usual depressing suburbia. Nicely appointed quiet room, quality fabrics, real comforter, and touch of European comfort.”

- The staff was great! They offered to move our room so our kids wouldn't be bothered by the soccer kids staying there.
- Um? No free breakfast?
“From what I could tell, it was located on a highly traveled route, not too close or too far from tourist sights or business - perfect for us, as we were just driving through. We got such great service, that I wondered if the location kept them from being too busy and wearing them out. It was better than the 4 star Marriott we stayed at in Rancho Cordova.”

“Very clean and the appearance was great. The food in the breakfast buffet was great. My room was clean and comfortable. My only issue was with the TV being used as a computer screen. The set up is not user friendly and not easy to see.”

- I did not stay there.
- They only had smoking rooms.
“My wife and I arrived there at 11:45 PM on Wednesday, March 1. Four men were trying to get checked in and the only clerk was getting nowhere with them. After about fifteen minutes, a line of approximately six people were behind me when another clerk appeared. He informed me that the only room available was a smoking room. My wife has severe asthma and cannot possibly abide smoke. ”

- Upgraded at check-in, quiet room.
- Nothing spectacular nearby.
“Nice fitness room and indoor swimming pool. Haven't tried the restaurant, but room service was fast and delicious. Friendly helpful staff.”
