“The lobby was beautiful, the staff were very friendly, we felt safe there, the room we had was basic, but sufficient for our needs that weekend, close to shops and restaraunts. We would stay here again if we were in the area.” Oct 13, 2009 by
Randall from Fowler,CA
“The hotel staff were very friendly and competent. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well-appointed and clean. The common areas of the hotel were upscale and the location is excellent. The room should have had Wi-Fi, the chairs in the room were uncomfortable and poorly designed, the TV remote did not work and the TV reception was poor, the mini fridge was substandard and almost non-usable, the sink in the bathroom was an extremely poor attempt to be stylish that ended up in an unintended.” Oct 12, 2009 by
Dan from Post Falls,ID
“This hotel is a great value and staff is friendly.” Sep 8, 2009 by
Jeremy from Columbus,OH
“I had a very comfortable stay from the warm reception upon check-in to the clean and inviting room. I was able to get a great deal through Priceline and the hotel far exceeded in value the price I was able to pay. This is how booking a hotel room should be.” Aug 29, 2009 by
Jill from Mission Viejo,CA
“This hotel was in the heart of the Silicon Valley. I'm a very frequent business traveler but since I was only going for 1 night I left my laptop at home. I was shocked when I went to their business area and they charged me to use their computer. I have stayed in many many hotels in the Silicone Valley and have never been charged for any type of computer need including internet service for my own computer.I will not stay in this hotel again.” May 20, 2009 by
James from San Diego,CA
“Hotel is nice. Good location. Clean room, and staff was nice. Nice gym.” May 18, 2009 by
Don from Watervliet,NY
“Staff was good.” Apr 6, 2009 by
Justin from Modesto,CA
“We saw a Sharks game at San Jose Arena and just needed a room for the night. The room more than met our needs and expectations; it was nice, clean, modern looking and comfortable. My only gripe was a lack of vending machines; I wanted a late night snack after the game and couldn't find any soda or snack vendors.” Apr 3, 2009 by
Dorothy from Meridian,ID
“We have stayed there before and the staff was very friendly! Pool was beautiful, only complaint was that the room was a little dirty.” Mar 23, 2009 by
Dennis from Simi Valley,CA
“Great location, Mar 14, 2009 by
Robert from Incline Village,NV
“What you expect from a 4-Star hotel in terms of room and facilities. Aside for inconvenience of sometimes having trouble finding a decent parking place, the only downside is hotel is frequently crowded with conventions which means facilities/restaurants are extra busy.” Feb 27, 2009 by
Charlene from Fresno,CA
“I think the hotel is in a great location and that everyone appeared friendly. The staff seem to handle the guest appropriately due to the increased amount of guest present for the volleyball tournaments and the dance competitions that were being held that weekend.” Feb 18, 2009 by
Laura from Pleasant Hill,CA
“This is a nice business hotel that converts to a fun and family-friendly weekend convention center. The beds are comfy, the staff very accommodating, great restaurants & lounge - all in a relaxing, comfortable atmosphere.” Feb 8, 2009 by
Tracy from Hermosa Beach,CA
“Excellent hotel, nickle and dimmed you on internet service.” Jan 23, 2009 by
Allan from Markham,Canada
“The hotel is suitable for business travelers and is in a business area. The rooms are nicely appointed decorated modernly with comfortable bedding, large LCD TV, iPod alarm clock, and decent bathroom. The location will is in a business area and there are no restaurants in walking distance. However, with a car San Jose has a wide selection of restaurants and is about a 10 minute drive to Santana Row (where dining options are plentiful). The only problems I had was that the water took a while before it got warm enough to take a shower. The washroom space was on the smaller side (only one person can fit at a time). The rooms are clean and service was excellent during my stay.” Jan 21, 2009 by
Michele from Lake Forest,CA
“I have been to this hotel before and have enjoyed my stay every time. The staff is very friendly and wants to ensure their guests are happy.” Jan 21, 2009 by
Vivien from San Jose,CA
“Location was excellent, views were great, restaurants, though I did not dine there, were of good choices! Overall experience at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, I would stay here again and tell my friends and family about it! I would even come to the restaurants if I weren't staying here.” Jan 14, 2009 by
Barbara from Nevada City,CA
“The Hyatt was nice and convenient for what we wanted. Very reasonable and comfortable.” Jan 6, 2009 by
Neil from Simi Valley,CA
“I have stayed at Hilton across this hotel, and find that more value for money. I could not sleep through the night as it was very noisy.” Jan 3, 2009 by
Pete from Placerville,CA
“Convenient location for our stay. The front desk staff member was courteous and accommadating for our request for connecting room. Comfortable beds and well appointed basic features.” Dec 23, 2008 by
Jaosn from Grass Valley,CA
“The Hyatt Santa Clara was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. My room was on the fourth floor overlooking a roof level with lots of loud machines and equipment making the view horrible but I didn't go there for the view. I think Jasmin would have let me move if I had asked nicely. It was so dark when I got there I did not notice it until the morning. I would definitely stay there again and the Hyatt is above and beyond anything I have seen at a Holiday Inn, which is also supposed to be a three star.” Dec 4, 2008 by
Sue from Chico,CA
“Very clean and spacious.” Nov 28, 2008 by
M from Reno,NV
“In the heart of Santa Clara/Silicon Valley, this hotel is recently remodeled with nice amenities. Beautiful lobby. Unusual hallways leading to rooms. Nice flat screen TVs, modern bath fixtures and decor.” Nov 4, 2008 by
Hans
“Incredible hotel. Very nice lobby and friendly front desk. Minimalist designed rooms.” Oct 20, 2008 by

“Quite clean, easy access to highway. The adjoining room was very noisy during late night and everything can be heard through the paper thin wall.

“The hotel meets the high standards associated with Hyatt facilities. The staff was outstanding, the kiosk check-in/out was flawless and quick, the facilities were top notch and the parking was free.” Oct 16, 2008 by
JR
“The room had very modern furnishings and free parking.” Sep 26, 2008 by

“The hotel room was quiet, and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The restaurant and bar were excellent.” Sep 23, 2008 by
“Clean, good pillows and convenient.” Sep 5, 2008 by
Tien from Sacramento, CA
“We enjoy the comfort that the hotel provided especially the modern furniture the lamp, flat TV, lavatory, WiFi. We rate excellent.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Wolfgang from Ammerbuch, CA
“Good hotel for business people who do not want to spend much time in the hotel. Hotel was quite crowded with many young people and noisy. Currently in addition some construction was going on. My room was also noisy, because it was close to AC and an ice cube machine, which the young party people used all night.” Aug 27, 2008 by
April from Los Angeles, CA
“This hotel was much worse than I expected. The rooms were fairly nice, but the hallways were very shabby-looking and the lobby was messy/noisy. There were children running around yelling and screaming the whole time. When we checked in, the guy told us we would need to switch rooms the next day. We had to wake up early to do so, even though we came in late that night. However, when we went to get our room changed, the person at the desk (someone else) looked confused and said that we didn't need to change rooms. Overall, I feel like this hotel really did not meet my expectations for either a 4-star hotel, or a Hyatt Regency hotel.” Aug 24, 2008 by
Andrew from San Diego, CA
“Excellent amenities, friendly staff, things that I needed where at my disposal.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Terry from Las Vegs, NV
“Pool elevator out of order, Spa jets not working sauna not working, bathroom had mold on tile, hallways smelled of stale air and mold. Staff was excellent but it is time for hotel to be refurbished.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Paul from Albuquerque, NM
“I stayed at several hotels on my trip, and this one was last. I wish it'd been first, and I would've just stayed here the whole time! This hotel is connected to a convention center, so there may be groups attending meetings, but there's plenty of room for everyone. It's a big, clean, modern, new hotel. The staff was especially friendly. Try their "virtual concierge" - she comes to you live via video conference in the lobby. It's effective and fun.” Aug 18, 2008 by
Chuck from New York, NY
“Very nicely decorated rooms, comfortable bed and friendly staff. I would stay again.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Danita from Hillsboro, OR
“Friendly, helpful staff, nice lobby area. Food is pretty good, a little bland. Room AC unit strained over 5 days to reach 69 degrees (trying to get from 72 to 66 over the 5 day period). Beds are comfortable with a good pillow assortment. The in room fridge took a long time to cool sodas & water. Perhaps it was because it was enclosed in a cabinet which was really hot.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Melanie from Diamond Springs, CA
“This is not an upscale Hyatt Hotel. Lots of airport noise. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Deborah from Ann Arbor, MI
“This hotel is in a nice, convenient location to Santa Clara county amusement parks, airports, shopping and downtown sightseeing. The top floor overlooks the county with beautiful views. The room decor is modern and pleasant to the eye. The main shortcoming of the hotel experience was with communication of the staff and customer service. I visited the hotel for one night with my partner and the hotel's water needed to be shutoff. We woke up, needing to be on the road early in the morning and the only water that came out of the shower and bathroom faucets was deep brown in color. I called the front desk and they told me to let the water run. We did so for several minutes and the color of the water deepened during that period of time. We needed to hit the road for a long drive without using water in the facility (no brushing of teeth, no shower, etc.) and when I brought this to the attention of the front desk, they said too bad, would you like a free breakfast? It was only after insistence on my part that they said they would refund the room. This was not the only mechanical failure in the hotel during my stay: one of the elevators was not working which led to long lines in the lobby for the elevators. I think this could be a wonderful hotel experience if the facility's various services are working properly.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Rene from Coarsegold, CA
“The people were nice and very helpful.” Aug 5, 2008 by
J from Paramounr, CA
“They got some funky design and they are not attractive at all. The scary part is that baby power blue hall way and it's dirty. Not 4 star hotel for sure.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Marilyn from Royal Oaks, CA
“On the whole, I was very satisfied with the Hyatt Santa Clara; we were there for a dance competition that my granddaughters competed in, so it was a hectic stay by nature, but the hotel was nice; service in the restaurant was a bit slow, as though they weren't prepared for the crowds.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Isaac from Rocklin, CA
“The Hyatt is a nice comforting hotel. It has friendly staff that accommodate your needs. The rooms are nice and elegant. It has all the features that I would expect from a four star hotel.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Gina from Chicago, IL
“Well, it made me realize I can usually always trust the chain hotels and that I cannot go with your service again (due to the terrible experience the night before at the Park 55 in San Francisco). I have stayed with Hyatt before, but will plan to stay with them more in the future due to this good experience. While your price was great for this room and hotel. Also, when checking in the hotel staff was friendly and kind. They had cookies and lemonade too! Very nice touch!” Aug 2, 2008 by
Michael from Fresno, CA
“Hyatt Regency is still tops!” Aug 2, 2008 by
Celia from Los Angeles, CA
“Great place, great service.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Alex from Fair Oaks, CA
“The hotel made my Bay Area experience just that much more pleasurable. The great staff and accommodations rivals the comforts of home.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Gwen from Weed, CA
“At least be able to have continental breakfast.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Marcus from Milpitas, CA
“Had a nice stay. However, the bath tub was a little spotty, and there was a major stain on the carpet. Appeared to be cigarette stains or something dark. Otherwise, very nice place. Appreciate the remodel they did, although the room was somewhat small. I would still repeat.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Rebecca from Nevada City, CA
“A very nice hotel, some rooms need an overhaul and the cleaning staff needs some supervision. Beautiful lobby and public spaces.”
