• Comfy bed , towels large and soft, pool heated, staff went out of their way.
• Room small.

“Very nice business center with three computers, free internet in lobby too but not in rooms, nice pool, staff terrific, bed very comfy, very clean and beautiful. The room was small and crowded with 9 pieces of furniture, but the bed was terrific and the bathroom was roomy with nice large vanity. Free parking.”

• It's not as busy as in the weekend.
• The carpet was little dirty.

• Restaurant service was excellent. Maid service was excellent.
• Something weird about the pool. My kids didn't even want to swim in it on day two which is unusual. No place to sun bath b/c it's under building.

• Neat and clean.
• Asked for pool towels twice with no response. Internet did not work.

“Asked the front desk for towels at the pool three times over a 40 minute period. No towels! As it requests not to use room towels, there was an obvious wrong here. We waited and asked three times over 40 minutes being told each time.”

• Location and facilities.
• The hotel service was poor. Even though they both have the same star rating the Hyatt hotel right across the street provides a much better service.

“The hotel location is adequate for business travelers working in the San Jose area. The rooms are clean and adequate but nothing exceptional and the hotel staff is anything but friendly. Similarly the hotel facilities (gym and pool) close early which is very inconvenient to some business travelers.”

• I am 6'4 and the front desk tried to put me in a double bed.

“Clean and comfortable, but please, when the check in staff sees someone over 6'3, dont try and force them into a double bed...especially when you have pleanty of king rooms available.”

• Good location, easy access, excellent amenities, and
  friendly staff..
• Our soup was inedible - much too sweet, but our waitress took the item off our bill.

“I would recommend this hotel for the business or leisure traveler. Easy access from the freeway and free parking were a plus as were the large, comfortable, and clean rooms.”

• The room was large and comfortable. We had 2 cribs brought in and still were able to sleep 3 adults.
• The pool was not heated. We were able to get into the hot tub with babies though, because it was around pool temperature.

“The hotel was beautiful and located next to a tram line. The front desk staff was a bit snooty . But everything was in great condition. We had a room on the 7th floor with an awesome view of the Great American park across the way.”

• They should have a gift shop with incidentals available.

“I enjoyed my overnight stay the only thing I recommend is they have a gift shop with things like magazines, toothpaste, snacks, etc. Instead of vending machines, didn't like that.”

• This hotel exceeded my expectations with
  free H2O in the room, free business center with internet service, calm, peaceful. I loved it!
• Can't think of a single thing.

“This hotel was wonderfully calm and peaceful and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was impressed by the cleanliness and efficiency, and very happy with the free water in my room, and the free internet usage in the business center! It was the best Hilton I've ever stayed at, and I hope to stay there again.”

• The staff at the front desk are very friendly.
• Too many things incur extra charges.

“The staff at the front desk were the best part of this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and spa were nice. There were so many ways to spend extra money there, though! The TV is set up so it was tricky to figure out how to just watch regular TV instead of paying $14 to watch a movie.”

“This is a relatively new Hilton which appears to be very well run, based on my single night's stay. The room was well appointed, and included a large flat screen HD television as well as comfortable seating area. My only complaint would be the Hilton policy of charging guests for internet access in this day and age. Otherwise I strongly recommend this hotel.”

• The customer service was deplorable.

“The front desk made me feel so badly. My family travels throughout Northern California for competitive softball 8 months per year. I find awesome customer service during most of my stays. Hilton in Santa Clara is not the place to find that. All it would have taken for me to enjoy my stay was a friendly and/or helpful front desk person. When I arrived, there was a long line to check in. There were two people helping one gentleman and his young son. The manager was on a cell phone, talking loudly enough for the entire lobby to hear that the person trying to check in was using someone else's credit card and how that was not allowed. Finally, after embarrassing the man and his son and making the rest of us wait, they were able to find a resolution by faxing an authorization to the card holder. I called the hotel immediately after asking for two beds. The lady at front desk told me she saw the request, but they need to give rooms with two beds to their paying guests! If I wanted a roll away, it would be $10. We were given a room next to the elevator and vending machines, I'm sure this was no mistake. The hallway was dirty with someone's spilled food right in front of my room. It took until the next day for it to be cleaned.”

• We did like very helpful staff at the front desk during check-in and throughout our stay.
• We did not like the expensive rates for vending items or the in-room bottled water.

“If we are unable to go back to the comfort of our own home, we would prefer to stay somewhere just as relaxing and with the same relative amenities and features. This hotel met our expectations. We felt this Hilton property had a lot to offer to us as business travelers and we took notice quite a few families where enjoying their stay as well. The Starbucks service inside the hotel was definitely a plus in the morning.”

• I really like the staff they are really a great group of people. I stay here almost every two weeks for work and they always make me feel so welcome.
• The coffee maker in the bathroom why? I don't even make coffee in my bathroom at home, why would I do it in a hotel that is so nasty.

“I really like it there. The staff is so friendly. What ever they are making its not enough. The only thing I would change is the coffee maker in the bathroom. I really like to make it in the morning, but not in the bathroom so nasty. Also may be a paper I like to read the paper before I go to sleep. Its like watching the godfather movie it just makes me go to sleep.”
