• It was in the same town I needed to be in.
• I asked for a non smoking room and got a smoking room.

“I was asleep on a Saturday night the people in the next room were outside my window and banging on my window and stole the gas cab off my car. They were very loud and rude and the hotel staff did not do anything about it.”

• They tried to do their best with where they were
• It was too near a bar that was very loud all night

“I would not recommend this hotel to others based on location, there was a bar in the adjoining parking lot and it was very loud and cars were squeeling their tires all friday and saturday night.”

• prompt courteous staff at front desk
• neighborhood is a little noisy

“hotel is a little old fashioned Motel style where you pull up your car in front of your room and room is narrow but long with small frig and micro wave (nice feature) and small bathroom at the back.”

• Very friendly and helpful staff.
• Some smoke free rooms smelled of smoke.

“This Santa Clara Travelodge is located on El Camino Real, and is fairly convienant to other places in the area. The Santa Clara convention center is about a 10 minute drive from this location.Rooms were a little small (but this probably reflects this price range) but quite clean. The staff does a good job to try to keep everything clean and nice.The first non-smoking room they gave me smelled of smoke but they allowed me to change to a different room, which was nice.Overall a nice low-cost hotel in the Santa Clara area, with a friendly staff who tries hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible.”
