• I was pleasantly surprised that the room had a full kitchen except we never really used it. The room was a nice size as well as the bathroom.
• While the room came with a fold out bed I was unable to get a roll away and we were accommodating 5 people.

“The hotel is situated in a great location. The accommodations are great for the price. The pool and gym are great if you use them. The full breakfast in the dining hall is clean and convenient. I enjoyed my stay with my family.”

• Great suite including kitchen, living room and bedroom. Plenty of space and very good complimentary breakfast.
• The pool was very small, but it was very clean.

“This is a great hotel. Even though it's older, it has been kept up very well. It is super comfortable with everything furnished. The bed was very comfortable.”

• Courteous staff.
• Bed was like a hammock and drain was backed up.

“Other than the way too soft bed and the backed up drain in the shower, this was quite a comfortable hotel for the price. I would be unhappy if I had paid any more for it.”

• The room was large, fireplace, full kitchen, and Great America's fireworks outside the door.
• I was charged 20 dollars for using a glass for water.

“The overall stay was good. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a studio and came complete with a full kitchen, couch, desk, fireplace, bed, TV, coffee table, large closet, and nice bathroom.”

• The room was spacious clean and well appointed.
• The exterior of the hotel was not good. Stairs leading to room were riddled with dryrot. Dozens of spiders in room.

“While the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and nicely appointed with new carpet and curtains, I couldn't get over the bad appearance of the exterior. The stairs to the second floor where I stayed were riddled with dry rot as were the exterior window frames. There were also about a half dozen spiders the size of nickels crawling on the ceiling when I got up in the morning.”

• Very comfortable hotel. I like that hotels are starting to use foam beds.
• No King size bed.

“Comfortable hotel with clean rooms. The rooms are laid out so noise from adjoining rooms are attenuated. It is next to the freeway, so rooms on the freeway side may be loud. Complimentary Internet (wireless and wired). Breakfast was good for being a complimentary breakfast.”

• Nice staff, good value.

“Nice for long term stays. Rooms had kitchens and breakfast provided by hotel was good. Socila hour was also well done with a great bartender/host and nice, light dinners.”

• The hotel beds were probably the worst that I have slept in the last 6 years and I ended up getting a back ache.

• Offers convenience of home in a hotel room. Staff were very warm and friendly and property being maintained clean 24/7.

“I checked in at very early morning hours (flight delay). Staff were very accommodating given my looks and the next morning, when I complained about road noise in the room, they changed the room within 1 min. Very helpful and the property is smoke free as well as family friendly and the general ambiance is very soothing with a small pond/lake adjacent to the property. Would recommend to anyone visiting Santa Clara/San Jose.”

• Full kitchen with large refrigerator, excellent for the budget minded traveler.
• Did not provide USA paper like many hotels.

“Facility is two story buildings with apartment like units. Looks a little rundown but in reality it is well maintained. Very efficient cleaning staff. Hotel staff is customer oriented and very helpful/friendly. Furnishings are a bit drab but in good condition. Free buffet style breakfast and full kitchen makes it ideal for anyone on a budget.”
